An oath in crimson ink keeps it shrouded in silence as its keepers pass on their knowledge seconds before death. The secret remains as it has for hundreds of years.

~This is our story...~

The Kingdom of Canthrazar, reknown for its peaceful trading with its neighbors and its excellent conflict management. Long ruled by the Crimson Helm family, a family chosen by God to bring peace to their lands.

The Crimson Helm family is the only family known to have an affinity to all four elements, this endowment from above is what brought them to power years ago.

Only a few years into the reign of King Arturo Helmiros, his Queen Trianna had a single child. The girl was born on the night of an eclipse, her blood-red eyes wide and attentive to her surroundings. Seeing it as an omen, the King's advisers had him keep her hidden from the rest of the world.

Ilylianna grew in isolation, only her parents, the nurses and her guardian ever seeing her in person. She learned from books, studying throughout the day and spent her nights gazing out at the sky. She became quite unstable, her emotions tapping into her gifts and causing many to fall ill within the castle walls.

Fearing that she would soon bring them death, Crimson Blade, the most exemplary of the Royal Guard's Mages, was appointed as her personal tutor and guardian.

~Today is now...Take that first step...~

Ilylianna awoke abruptly, her guardian pulling her out of her bed and ordering her roughly to get dressed lightly and quickly. Scared, she wears her riding clothes and a red cloak. He pulled her quickly and quietly along the halls of the castle. His eye darted up and down corridors, his grip was tight and painful but the girl remained silent.

Once outside he led her to the river behind the castle and handed her off like a bag of goods to a hooded individual.

"Take her quickly, we have been called to arms. No harm must come to her!" he shouted urgently as the figure helped the princess onto the boat. She watched him, her eyes watery.

"Keep yourself covered and your name hidden, I will come for you when it is safe!" he called to her, turning and racing back to the castle. He knew that no one would know her, as long as he followed the rumors of a girl in crimson he would be able to find her.

He ran, returning to assist in the fighting. The castle was deserted, he searched, only to find everyone in deep slumber. Angrily, he ran to the advisers' council hall and slammed the doors open.

"Where are they? Where are the invaders?" he yelled at the group of aged men. The eldest and most powerful of them all gestured for the rest to sit. With a warm smile he greeted the guardian and inquired...what invaders?

The man turned, racing back to the river, hoping...no wishing to find her. He had been tricked, sent on a wild goose chase and the princess was now lost somewhere, no knowledge of the outside world to assist her...

~Watch closely...As we break the fall once more...~

Born with black eyes and white hair, she seemed born straight out of a prophecy. She has been dubbed the Eternal Princess because of her never-changing appearance.
She has never been seen by commoners, kept hidden away in the castle as a precious jewel. Other than the Nurse that brought her out of the womb and the Royal Mage that has watched over her from afar, no one but her parents have seen her.
Kept in solitude, her emotions are quite unstable very dangerous for one of the Crimson Helm Family. The first family with an affinity to all the elements, everyone believed them to have been sent by the Gods.
Ilylliana knows nothing about all of this, spending her time staring out a window at night and studying all day.

His main task is to teach and protect the princess. He watches over her as a stone-faced leader his followers. He has deemed her unstable and with permission from her parents, has begun attempting to teach her to create stability within herself.
