Appearance Description
A bit short for his age, but still growing rapidly as he fights to overcome puberty Tensaijin is definetly NOT a random face in a crowd. His skin is a rich tan, one that isn't the result of hours in the sun but simply a cultural trait. His eyes are also oddly colored, a radiant teal that is hidden behind colored lenses that revert them into a deep chocolate brown. Physically Tensai is natrually muscular, another result of his culture. Compared to his peers Tensai is in excellent physical shape and his uncles tough lifestyle has morphed Tensai into a figure of envy among the male population of the male population of his class, and a bit of interest amoung the female.
His hair, formerly a dark red was dyed black and swept backward away from his face and cut just below his ears. He is still in the grasp of puberty so his face is more cute rather than handsome but definetly not a pretty boy. His expression is kept stoic but lately a look of smiling confidence has been seen on his face, as if he has some secret no other knows about.
Tensai often wears white as a main color in his outfit, such as his long sleeved dress shirt. The shirt is very light and made of silk in order to provide maximum flexibility in conjunction with brown pants made of identical materials. Tensai wears a masterfully crafted sleeveless vest over his dress shirt imbued with chakra to provide extra defence the cloth would not normally present. The vest is a light silver color with verticall crimson lines runnind downwards. The vest also comes with a hood that is often kept down when Tensai is in the village. The vest also covers his entire shoulder however a brown pauldron hides his left shoulder from view. Attached to the pauldron is a simple brown cape with a red interior and lined on the underside with lead. A slit in his vest allows the full collar of his dress shirt to potrude revealing a necklace adorned with sharp claws of a bear, wolf, an a large lizard like creature.
Tied around his waist is a long red sash with a belt of pouches mounted over it. The belt buckle takes the shape of small silver leaves beside two stripes of metal connected in a way reminiscient of someone trying to catch a football, creating a spade-like figure in the empty spade. Extending from under his red sash is a open 'skirt' like garment identical in color and material to his vest. The garment has a red interior and extends several inches above his knees in front but as the back of his knees at the back. At last his brown pants are tucked into knee high brown leather boots.
Tensai wears up to twenty five small throwing knives on his person, hidden in different locations on his attire in groups of five. The first group is in the underside of his pauldron. The second group is placed inside his left boot while the third group hides under a pouch near the small of his back. The fourth group is placed near the cuff of Tensai's right sleeve but are placed in a way for the genin to simply curl his right hand and grasp the hilt of one of the small blades. The final group is in the underside of his cape near his left hand for easy reach at a moments notice.
Personality
Tensai is very disciplined and respectful but is not a spoil sport. Despite his foreign stature in the village he has a pretty sizeable group of friends and is often described as 'pleasent yet critical' and can often be seen making jokes rather than training. However at home or under the eye of a teacher his discipline is shown clearly in his expert execution of anything tasks set before him. He often attends advanced classes and the majority of his close friends are among the top children in his class.
In battle Tensai is trained to keep a blank face to prevent the enemy from discerning his movements and is well trained in maintaining a level head when pushed into tough situations. Because of this he is very reliable in missions and his high intelligence makes him a primary candidate for intelligence operations.
Tensai is also gifted with a unhealthy amount of cunning for a child his age however no psychological issues have arisen nor any hints of shattered personality or unessecary cruelty. Tensai is indeed a 'good boy' for the most part.
History
Tensai was born in very distant lands in a place he described as very harsh and unforgiving. His uncle often says that they lived in heat that could bring Sunagakure to it's news with dry winds that seemed to steal the moisture from ones body. The crime rate was high and violence was seemignly a part of nature. Tensai was born when a group of ninja ended up in the harsh lands and one of them fell in love with a respected shaman and hunter. The two never officialy married but Tensai was still born and the two very much loved each other but his father was unable to leave his tribe.
Tensai spent three long years being tutored by his mother and on the fourth his father became Chief of the clan and convinced the clan on eighty or so to learn the ways of the ninja. Suprisingly the tribespeople were adept at using chakra and it was soon realized that the tribe had originated from the time of the first shinobi and had somehow travelled away not to long before the Second Ninja War. As a whole the clan decided to return back to their homeland with their newfound knowledge of ninjutsu. It took one and a half years of traveling and a six month boat ride to arive in Kirigakure where they stopped to settle fown for a short time. They soon left due to the criticism they received in Kirigakure but settled down close to the ancestral lands to look for more of their history. They found that their nearly inhuman chakra control and high intelligence stemmed from an age old clan ability that they had thought was a natural skill but was truly a Kekkai Genkai, the Teichigan.
While Tensai's father and the majority of the clan began to colonize the surrounding area Tensai's mother suggested sending the youth to Konohagakure to become ninja and officially citizens of the land and to inform the Hokage and current diaymo of their settlement near Konoha's borders. The clan definetly agreed and the children, along with thirty clansmembers left to Konoha in order to buy a residential area for the majority of the clan. They were met with warm arms and the tribe decided to take the name Kanja and move into Konoha as a whole but raiding their ancestral grounds for any artificats they could find.
Tensai was among the most skilled in his agegroup but it was uncertain whether he would be able to access the Teichigan although his mother didn't have a bloodline trait. As of late his father has stepped down from chief and has decided to take his immediate family traveling with him. It is because of this decision that Tensai and his family ended up in Cannongakure where they are currently stationed with Tensai currently enrolled in the Academy.
Long Term Goals:
Tensai finds Cannongakure one of the most interesting things he has ever encountered and has expressed great pride in all it's accomplishments. He decided to dedicate himself to the village as a willing guardian. However he often debates whether the village should countinue moving as a whole or instead have the majority settle down in it's own easily fortified village while multiple caravans can still countinue ownward. He definetly wants to hold a strong voice over the future of the village but has always denied ever wanting the rank of Kage.

Teichigan-NOT ACTIVE
The Teichigan is ancient Doujutsu that has recently resurfaced in the Kanja Tribe/clan. Tensai was lucky to gain the bloodline due to his half-blood status but it seems he gained many traits from his father and not his mother.
Kekke Genkai: Teichigan (Spying Eye)
The first ability gained from the Teichigan is Sukyan (Scan), and allows the user to draw in information of their surroundings at high speeds. The information is pretty standard, location, geography, weather, amount of trees, but the speed the eyes take in the information is astounding and allows the user to have a passive knowledge of their envrioment at a glance. This ability becomes stronger once the clans member gains Teresukyan (Telescope scan), which allows the user to see with extended range and draw more information from their surroundings like, temperature, humidity, plant life, height & width of objects, ect. Teresukyan allows the user to see very far on a clear day. Not too long after this a new technique reveals itself. [To gain Teresukyan the user must have used Sukyan in more than five battles]
The bloodline is always active and experiences strange ‘distortions’ of information when the user is trapped in a genjutsu. The distortions seem like glitches with strange patches of information.
Suhadasukyan (bare' naked' body scan), allows the user to scan organisms and lifeforms in their line of sight. To gain this ability the clansmember must have used Teresukyan in over ten battles.
By the rank of Chuunin the Teichigan evolves to grant the user Genzou (Vision), which allows the user to gain different 'visions' on how they gather information. For example Teikan is a technique that allows you to see through murky water, or thick mist, or even the dark. Combined with Rentogen the user could then see right through any physical obstructions.
Johou (Intelligence)
Range: Normal eyesight unless enhanced by a Genzou.
Description: When all scan abilities have been learned the user can now user a heightened scan. The scan is now so strong a blue transparent screen shows something simlar to an HUD in their eyes.
Johou allows the user to scan a targets Chakra level, general health of the body, grants higher reflexes, if someone uses a jutsu and THEN you scan it, you have a better chance of dodging. It would allow photographic memory. It will allow you to see the emotions of others easier, scan for weapons (if they are even partially visible though not revealing their powers), height, weight, and physical skills that can be learned from observation. Like, larger leg muscles might mean a fast runner.
The Hud screen also gives information about themselves to the user such as their chakra level, the number of jutsu they can use, their health level. After the user gets used to this new 'screen' more options are avaiable. If the user see's a set of handseal for a jutsu once the Teichigan will alert them that the same jutsu is being used again and give a list of possible counter attacks and defensive measures. With this the user can avoid jutsu they have already seen faster and more efficiently to the point where they seem to know the jutsu before it is performed.
Here is a list of Genzou Techniques. All must be learned indivisually and count as their own jutsu.
Gankai (Field of Vision)
Range: 150 meters
Description: By creating a spctral eye above their head the user can then extend their field of vision around them, allowing them to see their surroundings from a birds eye view. Doing this renders one eye blind an can be disorientating when deactivated. The spectral eye can be destroyed but is hard to see and is often used with the Mist jutsu, making it virtually invisible. This eye can also use Genzou. The spectral eye is immune to wind jutsu but any other technique is capable of destroying iy.
Netsushi (Thermal Vision)
Range: 20 meters
Description: Allows the user to see temperatures around them, red being hot objects and blue being colder ones. This technique, like all visions can be maintained as long as the user has the nessecary chakra.
Teikan (Clear Vision)
Range: 35 meters
Description:Allow the user to see through things like mist, a smoke screen, murky water, or even dark areas. Everything appears bright as day to them and their eyes have a faint glow to them. Very useful.
Haibijon (Hi vision)
Range: 150 meters+
Description: Allows the user to greatly extend their vision and sharpen it to a point where they can follow high speed movements. This visions requires more chakra than other visions but is very helpful when fighting speed ninjas.
Mashinbijon (Machine Vision)
Range: Normal
Description: The ability to see equipment and weaponry on the targets, highlighted as gold. This only see's visible items though, but with X-ray proves very useful.
Rentogen (X-ray)
Range: 35 meters
Description: See through walls and physical obstructions that are thinner than one feet. Very helpful and effective and can be used with Mashinbijon to see weaponry and equipment on people.
Fukagenzou (Electric Vision)
Range: 35 meters
Description: The ability to see an organisms bio-electric signals. Very handy for tracking down worried victims and pin-points the victims entire nervous system.

Scimitarsx2-Dual three and a half foot weapons of steel that act as Tensai's primary weapon. Used to deliver slashing blows from multiple angles and sheathed at Tensai's right side. They are quite plain and were bought when Tensai graduated from the Academy. He is still a novice in their use but he is very slowly getting better.
Armor
Chakra-imbued vest- The vest is imbued with chakra to provice the defence of tough leather. If Tensai were to be more skilled in his chakra control he could imbue his own chakra into the fabric.
Lined Cape-The brown cape may be simply but it represents his status as a Kanja clansmember and a genin. Not yet allowed to bear the Kanja symbol on the cape Tensai must wear it plainly. The bottom is lined with some heavy material, mabye lead and can be swung around with enough force to really hurt somebody.
Gauntlets & gloves-Simple brown leather gauntlets with matching gloves. Offers a bit of protection from slash, especially with the recent addition of a metal place on his forearms.
Accessories
A simple necklace around his neck bearing the claws of a bear, lion, wolf, and a large lizard.
