Persona 4 is the latest JRPG in a line of games made by Atlus. It centres around the protagonist (for whom you choose a name) who goes to stay in the rural Japanese town called Inaba with his Uncle and Cousin.
Not long after his arrival, a rash of mysterious murders breaks out, with the victims disappearing only to be found hanging from telephone poles several days later.
It's up to him and his new friends in town to figure out what's happening and stop the killer before anyone else loses their life. To do this, they have to use a power called "persona", gained by facing their shadows and accepting their true self.
