As you may or may not be aware I have been a little stressed out, sleep deprived and just ridiculously busy of late. And so i am turning to the only people i know who can truly help me (without telling me to go get drunk), you guys.
basically i need help relaxing, chilling, etc.
recommend some relaxation technique?
a good book?
some good music?
anything? i'm getting pretty desperate since i'm starting to get random mad headaches from it now.
Please help me zCBers! i know you can!

You should take a hot relaxing bath before bedtime. If you like the smell of lavender, use some lavender bubble bath or bath salts or whatever. The smell of lavender is supposed to relax you or something. So yeah. You get a hot bath going, add relaxing bath stuffs, then soak for awhile. When you get out you're all tired so you go straight from bath to bed (well, you can dry off, but don't hop on the computer or something). That process should make you get a good night of rest.
Also when things are stressful and I have spare time I indulge myself in things I like. It's hard to be like, oh, I really shouldn't be playing The Sims or watching Lost reruns when there is dishes to be done/homework/whatever...but doing things you like help make you happy and de-stressed.
Anyway hope this helped heart

Kill someone. Painfully. Talking about it, as angrily and colorfully as you need, to someone who'll listen might be a big help. Maybe also try explaining to those putting the pressure on you (i.e., keeping you busy, as it were) and see if you can get some of it lifted for the moment.

A hobby. It's possible it'll seem boring or stressful in the beginning sometimes, but it should help you relax when you're used to it.
Regular physical activities (exercise/sports/martial arts) may be an idea as well.

If you're getting headaches, I would recommend getting off the computer for a while.
When I'm stressed out, I find going for a quick jog and then having a warm bath before going to bed really helps calm me down. If you aren't tired when you get to the bed part, listen to music you enjoy on a CD/MP3 player so you can stay still and not have to move much when you're finally ready to sleep.

•○♣☼♣○• Drink water, have a shower, put on relaxing music without lyrics, (classical, theme songs, whatever) pick a book with a slower pace (Pride and Prejudice, Narnia, White fang, The secret garden and so on) snuggle in bed and drift into the gentle world of relaxation~

there are two other bathrooms in my house (i say bathroom one is just a shower room and the other is my parent's en suite which i'm not allowed to use so this is my only bath).
notice the electrical tape holding the shower together and the missing floor. and the holes in the wall. it's probably the most stressful place in the whole house.
