I was reading the Dictionary( don't ask why I would sit through and read the whole dictionary stare ) And i found the following definition:
pip n. 1 seed of an apple, ect. 2 [old S.I] one much admired.

No. But I thought it was funny that "Pip" meant apple seed. That's why I put it in the guild. Y'know, because it's also a character's name.
Unfortunately,I couldn't find any other names. I thought I saw "Jan" but it turns out it was the abbreviation for "January".

Isn't Pip also the name for card suites, such as spades, clubs, hearts, and diamonds? Being the outdated weirdo I am, I was reading my sister's dictionary from 1974, and a pip was a card suite. xD

Huh, that's odd. I guess his name means a lot of things. Oh, here's a weird coincidence: Pip, Pippy long stockings! Y'Know, that old cartoon with the little girl with braids and a pet monkey?
