For what felt like the upteenbillionth time, Dongo scratched at his ear, somewhat frustrated by the still-unfamiliar feeling of the feather dangling from it. How had Huong talked him into finding a baboon to put it there? It had been chance to find one that matched Amadeus so closely, but it was still an unfamiliar feeling. Letting out a frustrated sound, he shuffed, ears moving back and one down.

Socializing with the lions of the pride was... Interesting. Huong was warry of them all at first, but she'd come to relax. The whole place WAS interesting! Though she found she felt she stood out a bit... In the clan they'd been directed to, she was the only lion marked with a pink stripe. Dongo fit in far better, with his gold and naturally colored pelt... Though speaking of... She found him, once again, scratching at his ear. The lioness sighed, going over. "If you keep doing that, you might rip a hole in your ear."

Looking up in surprise, Dongo frowned. "But it feels weird! I'm not used to it..." He shook his head,f eeling the feather flop just a bit. "How do you manage to stand it, Huong?" Near by, Amadeus fell over laughing. The lion shot the hare a scathing look, not appreciating the mockery. "Oh, what are YOU laughing at? I could take Huong's original suggestion and just eat you!" The scandalized look was worth it.

Shaking her head, Huong went over, reaching a paw up to adjust the feather a bit. "I just ignore it. I distracted myself from my earing when I first got it, and eventually forgot it was there besides reflections. Just think of something else." As she moved, the feather dangling from her right ear caught the light, the little star-like marks twinkling. Even now, she still believed it from a goddess.

"And what am I distracting myself from it WITH? There's not much to do that could distract me.." He flicked his right ear, thinking a moment. "I could go out hunting... That's always good and distracting." He nodded to himself, standing. That was a plan as good as any! As he started to walk, he glanced at Huong. "Want to come with me? It could be fun to hunt together.. We haven't exactly done it since we got here."

The black and pink lioness thought about it, then shook her head. "No, hunting's no good right now. The herds are extra cautious right now, since someone's already been out hunting." She got lost in thought, trying to think of what to distract him with. Quite suddenly, she ran up and swatted him with a paw. "You're it!" And then she was gone, running off across the grasslands with a laugh.

He was stunned for a moment, before giving chase. She was NOT going to win this game! Lifting his paws up, he went into full speed, intent on catching up. As he got closer, his grin turned almost devilish, before he reached out and tripped her. With Huong down, Dongo pounced, tumbling and playfully pinning her. "Hah, I win!"

Huong wiggled, letting out a squeal. "Dongo, get off of me!" When he only laughed, she let out a huff. "You're insufferable!" There was no malice in her words, though, and she could hear no malice in his laughter. It was all a game, as if they were both cubs. Thinking a moment, she reached up and, catching his cheek with her paw, pulled his face down and licked him.

Dongo went silent, shocked by the action. It was so simple, so... Innoccent. He looked at her, the look in her eyes, then sat back. Effectively silenced, he simply reached up, feeling his cheek where her tongue had been. It wasn't a bad shock.. But it was certainly shock. Dongo could only sit there, mind racing a million different directions as to why she'd done it, and what it meant.

Huong smiled at him, then got up. Rubbing by Dongo, she brushed her tail right under his nose. As he followed her with his eyes, she leaned in close. Placing her maw next to his ear, she breathed in it. "I win..." Shoving him over playfully, she went sprinting off, giggling at him.

And all Dongo could do was lay there, shocked, silent... His face had gone a bright orange from blush. Licking at his lips a moment, he got up. Having effectively forgotten about the earing, he went after Huong.
