With that out of the way, here are some basic rules to keep things fun.
1. Introduce new characters: There is no point to just keep old characters doing the same old things.
2. Don't RP for someone else: Come on now. Taking away their free will?
3. Evil is just as fun to play as good: I'm a D&D whore. The characters that are most fun for me to play are evil. You don't want to be stuck in an RP full of do-gooders.
4. Don't whine if you don't get your favorite character: Take the character you get and expand them. Make them bigger.
With that in mind, I do hereby open the first relevant subforum!
