for a starting acoustic guitarists i have been playing for two months and don't seem to be making any progress.

Learn your root chords first. They're easy and they're used in about half of the acoustic songs you've ever heard. Also make sure you have strumming technique down.

ok basic strumming chords and if not that then just learn how to play some really easy basic songs... hopefully u know how to read tab.... if not learn and u should also know how to read notes, very usefull :3
