Kayto, who was balancing on a pole in the spring section of his dojang, gently breathed in and out, waiting on his next pupil. Adhara, huh? And she has two tentacles that can fight... Hm... Maybe I can teach her something with-... Nah... I don't think that will suit her... He stretched backwards to a different pole, his feet still on the first one. He felt a snap in his back, "Oh..! There went that back problem!"

It was odd to see Adhara excited about something like melee classes. Well, Adhara as well as her tentacles, particularly Niita. He'd been good at this, as well as he remembered it, though her wing had suffered as a result and she hadn't quite liked her last teacher. This time, though, she was getting a new one and hoped that this one wouldn't be as bad as the last.

She slipped into the room curiously, fluttering her wings just a bit and looking about, a soft smile on her face. "Hello?" she asked curiously before noticing her teacher and lightly running over to the area where he was, smiling brighter than before. "Hello there!" she said happily, Reena and Niita waving excitedly. "Am I to believe you're my teacher?"

Kayto's eyes blinked open as he saw the spawn walk into his classroom, he was upside-down, and thus, his white-haired bang flopped down. He smiled, and quickly got his feet up from the first pole, and onto the third pole, so that he took his hands off the second, to look at Adhara. "Yes... But the question is... Are you up for my training?" He jumped from the pole, did three flips, and stuck it onto the floor behind her.

Adhara's eyes widened as she watched her teacher's movements, mouth falling slightly agape with what she'd witnessed. Closing it and blushing it a bit sheepishly, she smiled and laughed softly. "Maybe, but not if you're thinking that I'll be able to do that very well," she said, laughing a bit. Adhara had never been very flexible in her life, but she was definitely up for the training, poking at her tentacles teasingly as they groped out toward her melee teacher. "Plus, I think that these two are looking for more... physically hands-on sort of things. They've been waiting for this since my last melee class, but I was a little pregnant at that time, so couldn't really do things to full potential."

Kayto looked at Adhara, then her stomach, and then to her tentacles. The older man smiled, and walked up to Adhara, "Well, let's see what they can do, shall we? I need to evaluate." He stepped his right foot back, so that he was in a stance, and his hands came up to his face, so that if the tentacles tried to attack there, he would be able to guard.

Adhara nodded agreeably to the instructions, adjusting herself to a similar stance, which was only really a copy and not very helpful. In the meantime, her tentacles peered toward Kayto critically, looking over his pose and then folded across Adhara's stomach like a pair of crossed arms, refusing to fight without something to hurl at the man.

Adhi blinked down at her tentacles and frowned slightly, able to at least perceive why they didn't want to fight. She smiled sheepishly toward the man, moving out of the 'stance to rub the back of her ankle with her toes, dropping that foot back to the ground when she wobbled a bit. "Well... they... prefer working with projectiles. They don't really have a good range in hand-to-'hand' fighting, if that makes sense," Adhara explained, nodding. After all, they didn't have joints where they attached to her, which greatly limited their movement.

Kayto thought for a moment after hearing what she had to say. The man walked over to his closet, and brought out a couple five targets. He placed them all around in a circle, and returned to the closet where he pulled out some knives, "Do your friends want to try aiming and hitting targets?" He walked back to Adhara, and held out the knives in his hand.

Adhara smiled at the man when he brought out the targets, waiting patiently while her tentacles continued to be overly excited, wanting desperately to break those targets. "I think so. At least, I certainly don't think that they would mind it," Adhara replied with a smile, her tentacles snapping up to take the knives, effortlessly hurling them at the targets. One bullseye, three hits, one miss; pretty good for the first time with targets like that; the young woman smiled up at her teacher. "Was that right?"
