So, post here about things that have happened to your band, such as a change of plans or a broken bus or sanything of that nature. Basically, stuff that affects the whole band, or just you. It doesn't matter.

First off, I forgot my gloves at school for an away game. And i'm a clarinet player. I didn't realize until we were almost to the other school. Luckily our girl DM is really nice and had a pair of (though greatly faded) black gloves I could use, since the dMs have white gloves. I wasn' able to play because air ccouldn't escape, and they were a small when I need large, but it was still better then being killed by my BD.

Now here is the one that influenced me to start this topic:
The big game against our rival school is supposed to be tomorrow. It is supposed to be a home game. Well, our BD called a meeting during 7th(I have an offcampus class that has no contact with the school, so I didn't know) for after school about the game. According to those who were at the meeting, the home side stadium lights have been deemed "dangerous" and they "might explode" question So now we are undsure of whether the game will even be at our school like it was supposed to, or it might start right after school. If it starts right after school, then we will not wear our uniforms because it will be too hot and we will likely die of heatstroke withintthe first quarter. The seniors are angry. It is the last home game. And if we end up going to a different school for the game, it will be too short of notice to rent an equipment truck, so we would hae to use pick up trucks to transport pit and large instruments. This is why I called this Getting CreativeXD We will have to be a bit creative about what we do with everything.

And getting creative is a phrase my BD uses when somebody does something stupidXD Though in this case it litterally means being creative.

That happened to a band that was coming to us one time, except their principle "accidentally" cancelled their band buses.

Oh, and last night we ended up going to a cschool about half an hour away. And the weird thing is: It was the creepy school identical to ours! Ah! It was so weird! Literally like playing a home but rotated a bit. Though the football field is the thing a the school most different from ours. And then on the way home after our schools one point loss, something kept hitting the side of our bus. Both me nd the guy ebhind me felt it. Nobody else did. It was wird. And we learned of the plan soon enough to rent an equipment truck, so everything went fine(other then te embarassing loss. Ou "star player" passed the ball with less then a minute to go[Very exciting game, by the way] and the pass wasn't even a pass. It flew up a bit high, hit the head of his teammate a few feet away, and then fell to the floor behind th guy. Then a guy from the other team grabbed it. Because there was only about 30 seconds left, they decided to end it. And they were so close. If that pss wouldn't have been crap, we would have gotten, if not a touchdown, close enough to the goal to try a field goal and win like we did at playoffs last year, against the same team. Funny thing is, ha they done the field goal, it would have been exactly like the playoff rematch against them last year. 23-24, us lossing, and then a field goal with about 15 seconds to go, winning us the game 25-24. And had we gotten the kicks after touchdowns, we also may have won.)

However upset about our loss, I talked to our senior dm(All seniors. This was the last normal season game) and she said she didn't care that we lost. Our thing is today. That is all we need to care about. By the way, today is State Marching Festival. Wish us luck!

These graduates are playing for our concert. they all happen to be egotistical jerks. They also all happen to suck, also its 3 weeks to the concert and they're going to mess us up. Oh, and the one in the sax section hates me.
