Theresa Killingworth tapped the side of her cup, the tea in it having long since grown cold. She had already finished the paperwork for her day job and was feeling her impatience growing. The girl never dwelt any on her amnesia, figuring she can't miss what she's never known, and if that was the way the Negaverse wanted it, that was how she'd stay. Yet it was moments like these that made her wonder what she did as a mundane, normal senshi before this. She found herself easily bored, so Theresa was certain that her former self had to have been a mass murderer.
Despite not caring anything about what her past might have been, Theresa was a very curious creature. She wanted to know more about those accursed senshi, more about what star seeds were and the power they held. Why did humans die without them? Were they something akin to a soul, or were they simply their energy? Perhaps their will power, or some other strange function?
With a final determined huff, the soldier stood upright and swung on a jacket. She wanted to go out and play a little. Nothing serious, of course. Just a peek around. No one needed to know, and she certainly didn't need any tagalong--

Serandite had just been released from crystal academy and had changed into regular clothes. A black tanktop and skirt. She had been assigned to a Theresa Killingworth. Hm. Apparently, it was a corrupted senshi. When she got this assignment from Charonite, she had just been amazed. This mission was more than she had expected to get. Now that she got it, she was going to carry it out. In her own way of course.
She was in a regular outfit since well.. She already knew Theresa's secret identity. Or at least the picture and the name. Not the actual person. Or was about to, anyways. What did it matter if Theresa knew her Serandite's own identity? As Serandite approached the room, she was surprised to see the girl about to leave. Shoot, her hair was long and gorgeous. What Serandite wouldn't give for that length of hair.
"Theresa. We haven't even met yet and you're already doing my favorite activity. Sneaking out. Mind if I keep you company?" She appeared in the doorway, a grin on her face. Whoa, if she was any later, she would have missed the girl completely. She considered it fortune that she didn't.
"Lt. Serandite. Or Serah in this form. I'm the best friend assigned to you for the next couple of days. Be prepared." She grinned, brown eyes twinkling with amusement. Her hand held the door open for Theresa to exit.

Theresa grinned, her irritation subsiding the further she went outside. She hadn't actually been out since she had woken up, so it was a rather new experience for her. Exhilleration jolted through her and she found herself in a rather cheerful mood now, "Fear not, all puppies shall remain in their ditches."
The duo had made it to the dark streets of Destiny city without a single soul to notice them. "It's a trivia game," She began, "And the first question is: How long can a human survive without their star seed?" Theresa's curiosity wanted to know everything, and this sounded like as good a place as any to start. She held up a stopwatch with a pleasant smile, stepping back into the shadows.
Pale, slender fingers reached down and unclasped the silver bracelet around her wrist. The filter shimmered away from her, her long, braided hair falling freely to the ground as her black sailor fuku materialized, the dark mark branded to her chest and forehead. "I sense a human. Shall we?"

As it stood, this was Peggy Wilson's unlucky day. The unluckiest day of her life, in fact, and not only because that boy Derik had refused to talk to her after their midnight rendezvous. Neither was it because she had failed her test earlier today, despite pulling an all nighter the evening before. In fact, she would have taken both of those things one hundred times over, had she known what was in store for her that night. Because it just so happened that she was the human who had been wandering too close to Tisiphone and Serandite that evening. Despite her quick steps and eagerness to get home, it would ultimately prove to be futile.
But as of that moment, she was more thinking about the dashing, but ultimately heart-breaker of a young man who had turned her out into the cold. And since she wasn't paying attention to her surroundings -- a fatal flaw, now a days -- she wouldn't hear or see the nega-baddies until it was too late.
Footsteps echoing on the sidewalk, little blonde girl paused under a streetlamp to curl her arms around herself, shivering and brushing the tears away from her cold-blushed cheeks.

"No girl should have to show her tears." Tisiphone spoke with a soothing voice, stepping forth out of the shadows and stopping right in front of the girl, "You poor thing, such a void in your heart. Here, let us see how deep the void goes."
Pale hand thrust forward, clutching at the girl's chest without warning. The motion had pushed her into the pole of the street lamp, her hand gingerly withdrawing with the shimmering seed. Were all seeds this hue? This bright or dark? Did the girl's earlier emotions play any part? She would have to compare it to another one sometime.
Tisiphone turned towards where her keeper was, holding up the stop watch to show she had already started the count, "I'll put it back in at ten minutes to see if you win the bet. If she's alive we'll pull it out again to see how long it'll take. I wonder if it fully reconnects or if the time is lower." She added the last part to herself, the star held carefully between both heads as she held it up to eye level to inspect. This was such fun indeed, much better than staying cooped up in a room all day.
The girl had fallen without Tisiphone even batting an eye.

Tisiphone didn't reply immediately to the Lieutenant's question. Heck, she had no memory of actually seeing her own attack before, though every minute of her life now she was aware of her connection to the void, buzzing with energy. She lost some of her good humor when she touched on the dark energy, which reminded her of the seriousness of the only truth to her life, the Negaverse. The soldier gave a shrug, "Who knows."
Black eyes flickered to the stop watch, impatient to get her test on the way. Would the civilian live? Was she dead already? She leaned down to listen for her breath, though with how still and pale the girl was it was hard to tell. A bit bored now, she swung the stopwatch between her fingers, watching it sway back and forth like the tongue of a clock. Soon, now.

Sailor Walküre was out on her usual evening patrol. So far the only action she had was stopping some common buglers who had driven their minivan through the window of the local video game store. It wasn't exactly hard to do, since the criminals were pretty dumb and drove the front end of the van into the shop, and the metal security gate not only stopped them, but apparently broke the engine, because they were trying to get the van moving when she showed up.
It was almost a waste of her talent to bother with them, but beating them up and leaving them there for the police to find saved the authorities some time. Maybe if the other senshi and her took care of petty crime, the police wouldn't hate them so much.
Well, that and Sailor Walküre was just bored tonight.
While she was making her way down the streets, she felt a strong, dark aura up ahead. Whoa. This was a big one.
She ducked off to the side of road, and used cars, bushes, and road signs as cover as she made her way closer to the source of power while trying to go unnoticed. It wasn't long before she could make out three figures, all of them girls. One was up against a poll, and looked slack and lifeless. The other two were clearly Negaverse agents, and the girl with longer hair (much, much longer hair) was holding a glimmering star seed in her hand. And was that a stopwatch? What kind of twisted Negaverse game was going on here?
She knew what she had to do. Sailor Walküre, against her better judgment, came out from her cover. It was a two against one situation, and frankly they looked stronger than her, but it was her job to protect innocent life.
She put her hands on her hips, and squelched her worries while trying to strike her usual dynamic pose. "Stop right there, Nega-scum!"

((ROFL I was wondering that too xD *types up post*))
Peggy had always imagined death to be something that you didn't realize was happening. Something that just overtook you, and you just didn't wake up. Something you didn't have time to fear. But oooh, was she wrong. That hand entering her chest was enough to make her veins into ice, her pulse skyrocketing, and she tried to scream, her blue eyes wide with terror, glossy with fear and the life force being sucked out of her. She knew she was going to die, and time seemed to stand still as she watched that mysterious yet beautiful blonde girl pull something shimmery from her chest, having just enough time feel the horror of the realization she was now, essentially, soulless before she slid into the coma.
And there she stayed. For ten minutes. She didn't think. Time was nothing. Her consciousness had left with her starseed.
That was, until it was returned to her.
It wasn't like being fully alive. Her body had been weakened almost to the point of death -- there was no way she would just get up and start running around again so quickly. Instead, her eyes only regained a little clarity, hazily staring up, and she tried to scream again, although it came out weak and whispery. Her eyes, however distant, were still filled with terror though. All she could see was that blonde hair, and a little farther away, a splash of pink. Walkure was not in her range of vision.

Okay, so maybe it wasn't the greatest idea she ever had to jump out when she was outnumbered, but the look the girl in pink was giving her just made her feel downright dumb. Which was something she definitely was not.
Current situation withstanding, of course.
And it was looking like she didn't need to come out at all, because the other girl just put the star seed right back. That was actually kind of convenient. There was no fighting, no hassle, she just gave it right back to the girl it belonged to. Walküre gave an audible sigh of relief.
Yet, as horrible as it was for her to think, it actually would be useful information to know how long a human could stay alive without their star seed. Or to find out what effects having it taken out had on them. She quickly dismissed those thoughts, and watched and waited to see how the girl would react now that she had her seed back, hoping that she was alright.
Sailor Walküre kept a safe distance from her enemies, but kept her poise in case they made a move to snatch the star seed again. And this time, she used her head, and kept her mouth shut. No need to dig her grave any deeper. She hadn't met many Negaverse agents, but she knew they were devious, and could be planning do something even more sinister.
There was something wrong about this whole situation, between the toying with life and the bad case of the willies Walküre was getting from the girl with the long hair.
