Randy wrote out the lesson as he waited for students to enter the classroom.
Lesson 2: CONTEST
Students will walk in and go to their telescopes. You will try to locate the North star, Venus, Mars, and the sun. Once you have done this you will write down their location and orbits at the current date. Once you are finished read page 12 about orbits of the planets.
You will all roll 100 sided dice. 50 or higher to locate the planets and sun and 70 or higher to locate the north star.
You will than post a second time with a second dice roll. roll a 100 sided die and roll a 80 or better for each planet or star. The student who does the best will be awardede a Homework pass, 10 house points, and an O on the lesson.

Nikki walked in and read the assigned pages he than went to the telescope and tried to find each.

Nikki found the two planets with out a problem but he couldn't find the sun. He moved the telescope one last time and tried again.

"Duh, wrong way." he said as he found the sun with ease that time. "Damn north star. How can something that doesn't move be so hard to find?" he said as he tried one more time.

Nikki was now frustrated. "COME ON." he yelled as he looked once again.

Nikki was now ready to rip his hear out. He couldn't get any of them. He tried once again but he was quickly losing his patients.

Nikki managed to figure out the north star. "Only one more left." he said as he continued to try to figure out the orbit.

Mystik went to her telescope and looked through it.
"Ok..." she muttered to herself," Venus, Mars, and the sun are...."
