It had been almost two days since she had visited Velani. He had been holed away inside his den, and mother and father had kept her continuously busy. For some reason, it was rather hard to get away from the family. But the moment she could, she began her journey to the den.
It wasnt a far walk. It was actually still rather close as her parents lived along the inside of the very borders of the pack. She truly knew her parents were quite anti-social..It made sense.
The sky was a bright shining blue and the clouds were almost nonexistant in the sapphire sky.
It was such a good day to be alive, of course she was rather sure it had everyting to do with her getting to see Velani once again.
Her heart raced when she thought of him, and she wanted nothing more than to spend the night with him again, and go home tomorrow morning. Tonight was all for him.
She smiled as she saw the den's familiar form appearing through the blanket of trees as she got closer.
She gave a yip of a bark, and wagged her tail furiously.
"Velani?" She called, though making sure not to yell too loud.

When he heard her call, Venali lifted himself from the ground and made his way from his den, bowing his head to greet her. It had been a few days since he last saw the other's beautiful features. "Decided to grace me with your presence today, have you?" He asked with his eyes glowing.
"It is good to see that you're doing well, Treasure." He moved to nudge his nose softly against her ear.
He had been keeping himself occupied with cleaning out his den, getting a few animal pelts as well as small meals of rabbit and squirrel. The orange and black wolf almost felt like his home was perfect. It was just missing one thing.
"Have you been behaving yourself?" There was a teasing hint to his tone. He was sure that the femme wouldn't get herself into too much trouble, her family would most likely care for her no matter what. The things he had learned about them for her were .. interesting.
It was a beautiful evening, he was rather pleased to be able to spend it with the female. There was still much for him to learn about her, and he was interesting in it.

Her heart beat a little faster when she saw the orange form leave the safety of the den to greet her. She wanted nothing more than to see him all this time since their last meeting.
And now here she was.
"Im sorry. Momma kept me busy, and I havent been able to get away." She replied with a pout. Though it wasnt a truly upset pout, more just something she did when she regretted something.
"I love what youre doing with the place." She mused, looking around herself at the den's entrance. It was free of the pesky vines, and she could smell the scent of fresh kill within its borders.
"I have." She giggled, flicking her tail to and fro. She wasnt one to cause trouble.. She just seemed to be the one that left at dusk with a strange male.
She just couldnt help herself.

"Thank you, I am not much of a decorater, but I have made myself at home already." He nodded his head. "This den is perfect for me. I appricate your guiding me here." He nuzzled a little just behind her ear before taking a seat.
It made him rather curious, what the female could be doing for her mother, but he wouldn't ask. Information like that wasn't the most important of things, and she would mention it to him if it was something he needed to know.
"There is room for another in here, as I'm sure you know, so you will hopefully be quite comfortable tonight." Venali wouldn't want her to travel such a long way only to decide she didn't want to stay around. He wasn't needy, he had just rather enjoyed the way her soft furr felt against his as he fell asleep. It wasn't as nice of a rest without her.
"I hope you plan to stay a while, Treasure." Came his rather alluring tone, eyes scanning her to take her in fully.

"I think you did lovely." She barked in happiness. She licked at his maw as he pulled away from the nuzzle. She felt a surge of pride. She had found love, she was sure.
"Leave it to mothers to not let us leave from family hunts."
She spoke with a chuckle. Her mother and father were so close, they wanted to make sure the children stayed close as well. As a result, all the pups had chosen to stay within the pack and stay close to family.
"I will be staying the entire night. Ill get to fall asleep beside you again. Momma thinks Im out with a friend."
She smiled, her tail wagging, yet still slowly.
Her bright eyes gleamed as she nodded a bit.
"As long as you need."

The way she spoke made him grin even more. She was really adorable, the affection she gave was appreciated. He had always seen himself as having a rather shielded heart, but Xanax put him at ease.
Family hunts? He remembered being involved with those. They were always exciting, fun and something he hadn't wanted to give up, even when he had to leave. Sure, he was a powerful hunter on his own, but the excitement of a hunt with another was unmatchable.
"I'm glad that your Momma approves of you being out with a friend," He mused a little as he nudged her towards the den with his nose, wanting her to enter so they could spend some time pressed together before they actually went to sleep.
"Though perhaps she would feel differently if she knew I was your friend."
Venali didn't look that concerned about it, though. It was almost.. more exciting that the female was sneaking around. It made him feel like a pup again.

She chuckled. Her mother may have been okay with Venali, but Paranoia would have a cow at his baby girl mingling with older males. She gave an inward smile and couldnt help but giggle.
Paranoia was incredibly cautious of everything. He would believe Venali was out to get hurt.. Out to hurt her and break her heart after using her.
And inside she knew she would have to be careful, and really get to know this male. But she had plenty of time. She knew he wasnt going anywhere, and she surely wasnt.
"Perhaps." She settled, and sniffed once more as the sun started to set and the sky was almost a deep blue. It still had purple and pink clouds that dotted the sky, but the sun was on its last stages of the day.
"I have missed you."
She confessed, and lowered her ears. She needed someone strong.. Someone who could put her in her place. She was just very submissive to life.. And she needed someone to protect her, but keep her in check.
It was true though, he had never left her thoughts in the time apart.

Her giggle brought a brighter grin to his maw. He didn't seem to be able to help himself when it came to her.
Venali was by no means a small wolf, plenty of power behind his large exterior. It was how he survived as a lone wolf, not something easily done. When the female did not respond to his nudge, he did so once more, this time a bit firmer so she would understand what he meant clearly.
"Let us go inside for a while before we sleep, Treasure."
His tone held no room for argument. There was no need to stay outside when his den was more than large enough for the two of them to relax and enjoy eachother's company. He did not mean to sound like a jerk, but he didn't enjoy his insistance being ignored.
It was more comfortable for him to have her enter first, that way he could be near the edge of the den and prevent anyone from bothering the two of them.

She smiled, and once she was nudged a bit more forcefully, she pushed herself from her sitting position, and made her way to the entrance of the stone structure.
She looked over her head, and smiled as the great tree arch hung overhead. It was a wonder of nature.
She did not think that Venali had sounded badly at all. She had not listened the first time, though in her defense she had not quite understood the nudge.
But she listened now, and was happy to have someone that would keep her in place. Right where she needed to be.
"Okay."
She replied, and once they had made it inside, she looked at the rabbit and old deer carcasses. The deer were more in parts than the entirety of the deer itself.
He had made the bed more pleasant with pelts and leaves. Making a cozy little bed that she was almost excited to try out. It looked so soft!

Venali watched as the female entered his den before following her inside. His bed was indeed rather comfortable, resting was something important to him. With a good rest, one could accomplish much more than if they were tired and miserable.
He gave her another nudge, this one more playful, guiding her towards the bed. Once they were there, he laid down on his side and gave a yawn, his powerful jaws seperating to show vicious teeth.
"Come lay down," He motioned for the spot next to him and his tail gave a slight wag, wanting to look inviting even though his tone was a bit demanding.
The orange wolf felt like he had waited long enough, he didn't want to have to wait for the contact anymore.

She obeyed without pause, and padded over to the soft furs and smiling at him gently. He was demanding, but he made up for it with his soft eyes, and happy smile.
The wag of his tail made her wag her own, and it hit against her side with a fury as it went from one side to the other.
She laid next to him, snuggling up close, making sure to be as close as actually possible. She lowered her head and pushed it under his own so that her head was resting on his front legs.
Her tail continued to wag, never faltering except when she made eye contact with him.
One eye was bright and orange, rather like his pelt. The other eye, was a black pupiless orb that seemed to be like a marble within his skull.
"So how have you been?"
She asked, her gaze dropping from his eyes, as she snugged in closer, eyes drawing closed.

Though Venali didn't want to seem overly controlling, he had to admit that he liked that Xanax seemed to want to please him. When she set her head against his legs, he gently rest his atop hers and nuzzled down into her a little bit.
"Quite well. I think this shall be my home for quite some time. I enjoy the area. And having my Treasure come every few days to see me is quite a treat as well." He gave her ear a little lick after he said that, his eyes sliding shut.
"Your pack seems to not know of my presence thus far, or not mind it. I hope the latter is the case, simply because I don't wish them any harm." His words were sincere, he didn't bring harm to anyone who didn't need it. Though if they were ever the soul reason he couldn't see Xanax.. Things might have changed. If he needed to use brute force to get what he wanted, he would.
And so far, time with Xanax was exactly what he wanted.
"Do you enjoy this as well?"

Venali's control over the female was what most attracted her the most. She loved the feeling of -being- someones. She was not allowed to make excuses, she was supposed to do what she was told.
Of course, that was most definitely how she had been raised. She listened to her parents religiously, and was a good girl.
Yes, she did enjoy seeing him. It made her heart pound a little faster. Though she was still unsure of what the feeling was. She didnt know that kind of love.. She knew her family's love.
Which, she could almost see the expression behind those bicolor eyes of his.
She could almost tell that he would hurt others to get to her. Good thing she wanted to be around him.
"Yes, I do enjoy it." She spoke, smiling a bit, and leaning into him a bit closer, while her own yawn escaped her maw.

Velani knew that something special was forming between the two of them. He was not sure what to call it, but it felt good and he was more than content to see where it would go.
There were very few things Velani did without effort. If he was going to do osomething, he would be dedicated to making sure it was done the right way and he could get what he wanted. Which was why he was putting so much effort into getting know Xanax. If it was worth his time, it was worth his effort.
He nuzzled into her furr, taking in her scent slowly and giving a small sigh. She smelt good, like flowers and rain. Things that were beautiful, and calming. It fit her well.
"Tell me more about you. About your family. I want to hear it all." There was still a hint of authority to his words, but he meant well.

What did she need to say to answer his questions? Not being one to completely let out all her dirty laundry, she tried to give the bare minimum of what was asked of her.
"Well, I live with my mother and father. I have three older siblings. Schitzophrenia, Lithium, and LSD."
She started with a smile, thinking of her family and having good feelings. SHe loved them so. They were her world. Of course, she was thinking she wanted Velani to be family as well.
"I have littermates. Ecstacy, Dellusion, OCD, Craze, and Hysteria."
She nodded, and looked back up at him and his bicolor eyes.
It made her feel a little warmer, and she blushed, looking down.
"We all have our own issues in one way or another."
