 It was yet another boring day. And in this day Vaerika had been left to her own devices. This was never a good thing. She had become increasingly perturbed by her parents, they had had more cubs. Four to be exact. Four! She now had five full blood siblings, four of which didn't come from the same litter she had. Why they had even thought to have more offspring was beyond her. Vaerika was perfect, and she'd prove to her parents that she would be the heir, because she would, and there was nothing that either one of them could say about it.
Smirking in satisfaction, Vaerika ran her tongue over her lips, feeling the fangs that hung from her mouth. She would rule, with or without their approval. She would be everything her mother wanted, everything that was in her mother's nightmares. She would be. And that was what mattered.

 Semele dreaded the light and pulled her hood closer to her face with a light hiss of hate. Her bats hid in the hood from the light as well. Trudging along, she spotted the other female and hissed lightly. She wasn't too friendly with first meets, and this female was unusually bright and sparkly. At first she was thinking of avoiding her until an idea hit her. What if she could feed off of this other female? Clearly, she hadn't noticed that the other was of her species.
'Hmmmmm... Yes, i wonder...' She thought to herself as she slowlt creeped towards Vaerika.

Vaerika's head turned almost instantly the moment she felt the others presence, which hadn't taken very long. She gave a smirk, showing off her white fangs. "Well... I have to say I'm a bit surprised not only to see another living being.. but the fact that you're a vampire, how lovely.." She gave out a light laugh, eying the other female and noting the length of her opponent's fangs.

Once the other lion was looking at her, she gave a venomous smirk. "Ah, so your a vampire as well?" She gave a cold chuckle and padded the rest of the way to the other female with a wary eye on her. "Why are you so... Sparkly?"

Vaerika shrugged with a slight smirk, "Its a bit more of a ploy... if I can attracted prey to me, its all the easier if I look pleasing, is it not?" She took a step closer, a light purr coming to her throat as she looked the female over. "You must be new here." Came the statement as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.

The female sat down where she was standing and acted as if to admire her sharp claws as the Vaerika 'explained' her sparkles that seemed to come from her. All that she could think of was that it was an excuse to hide the fact that she liked to play dress up and wear sparkles with it. She scoffed and set her paw back down on the ground and flicked her tail, a look of disgust coming to her face as she looked back up to the other female. The sparkles were just too much. Especially in the sunlight. Even her bats were hissing from inside her hood.
Pulling her hood closer to her face again, she scowled. "Is there anyway to get rid of that obnoxious sparkling?" She huffed and rolled her eyes only to stop and look at the other female in a menacing way. Not that it bothered her being new, but the way she said it? It irritated her almost as much as her sparkles. "Ya know, i'm not going to answer that..."
Snorting, she looked away and up to the vast sky, which wasn't very smart seeing as it was day. She instantly hissed and looked down to the ground, thrashing her tail angrily, back and forth.

With a shrug, Vaerika blinked her eyes and the sparkle died. She made note that this particular lioness was one of the vampires who couldn't go out in the day time. It made her smirk, she had one up on her. If anything, if the vampress ever got on her nerves or threatened her, her sparkles could be a defense mechanism to keep her at bay. "So then... where are you from?" She asked, tilting her head to one side to examine the female. The lioness was perhaps more of a pure bred vampire than Vaerika was herself and she found this rather.. interesting.

She huffed out once again. Before she answered, she decided to circle the other female a few good times, eying her down and noting that the sparkles were gone. After she was pleased, she padded back over to her original post and sat down, the laid down. With her paws crossed regally in front of her and her tail curled around her, she scoffed and folded her wings down.
"Well, i came from my parents who are long gone. And how did they have me? Well, when two lions like each other very much, they--" She was cut off by the screech of a bat that came from with in her hood. Her dark red eyes narrowed and she put a paw on her left ear and hissed lightly back at it.
"Okay, okay... Ruin my fun." Snorting, she looked back to the other lioness. "My turn for questions... Who are you? And why are you asking me so much?"

Vaerika couldn't help but laugh a little, shaking her head back and forth. "Well, when a weak male and a weak female get together... and have.. well..." She smirked at her own mocking before shrugging, "I am Vaerika, daughter of Iilvaenya and Varg. My mother is a warrioress, daughter born to a clan chief who was cast out. My father is a werewolf. How a vampire is born to a werewolf... well, I really don't know, but it hardly matters." She lifted her paw in the air nonchalantly. "I'm asking questions because I have never seen another vampire before, is that a good enough reason for you?"

"Weak? Well, i hope you aren't referring to my parents... Cause they were hella hard to get rid of." With her cold smirk came a cold chuckle. She flicked her tail and stood once more. Glaring at the her with a cold hint in it.
"A half-blood, eh? Heh, thats pathetic." She shook her head as if she was disappointed. "Anyway, i guess you expect me to tell you my name?" she waited for an answer, not really wanting to give her name to a 'half blood'.

Vaerika shook her head, narrowing her eyes slightly, "I was calling my parents weak." Her tail flicked in an agitated state at this female. She sharpened a claw on a nearby tree, wondering just how lovely this vampress' blood would look oozing out of her neck. "Well, that's good for you. If you think you're this wonderful little picture of perfect vampirism. But until me there were no vampires on this isle. I am the one who sets that bar of perfection. And your standards do not apply, only my own. So deal with that. Because long after you're gone I shall still be here, I will still teach all my offspring, raising them to be the extreme perfection of all walking dead. And your offspring should you have any. Rather you stay on this isle or not." Her eyes swiveled around to catch sight of the vampire. "My parents may be weak, but I am not." Her fangs glinted.
