Settling herself down in her large, colorful, comfortable bed, Ella let out a sigh and closed her eyes. All in all, it had been a good day. She'd had a nice breakfast, classes had been simple and easy-for she was very smart- and she had met with two other students, Rosalin and Samyule. The dynamic between them had been interesting to say the least, for they all were very different people. She was eager to see if they would become friends.

Rosalin seemed nice enough, a little shy, very much like a cat with her claws almost constantly out, and Ella had a feeling it was to keep from getting hurt. She couldn't blame the girl; most everyone who acted in such a manner often had their good reasons. Still, it had been nice to talk to another girl who wasn't right off the bat vapid and utterly brainless like most of the females here that she had spoken to.

Yule had been just as interesting. She could see an interesting dynamic between them, seeing as she was British and he Indian, and she wasn't so spacy as to not know what barriers that might put up. Still, that didn't discourage her. He seemed a bit over confident, slightly full of himself, and she had a feeling that he knew just how handsome he was and how to use that to his advantage. Luckily, she knew how to avoid and counter such tricks; she'd experienced boys like that before.

Reaching over to the side of her bed, Ella pulled her headphones off her nightstand and placed them over her ears, soon playing Loreena McKennitt to sooth her to sleep. It had been a habit ever since she was a child to listen to music to get her to sleep, as she often had a hundred different things running around in her head and it helped to quiet down her mind. Smiling and pulling the covers up to her chin, she began to unravel the complex notes and lyrics until it put her to sleep.

Grumbling at the edge of sleep, Ella shifted her weight and turned onto her side to face Yule, her headphones falling haphazardly around her neck. She yawned slightly, her brow furrowing before she slowly opened her eyes, squinting in the darkness. Her hand reached up to her bedside table to flip the lamp on, spilling light about her colorful room, and as she spotted Yule, she drew back, subconsciously feeling for her powers. She had just met the boy. Having him here alone during the day was one thing, having him here at the wee hours of the morning was another. Still she would attempt to her civil.

"Samyule? What are you doing here so late- or so early?" She raised a brow, sitting up and looking at him and flipping off her iPod.
"I thought you didn't think much in the way of propriety or rules, I suppose I was right." A hint of a smile lingered at her mouth.
"Can I help you?" She figured it must be something important if it couldn't wait until morning. It was funny, really, how civil the girl was, even though she had just been woken up and her hair was likely all messy and strewn about. It was clear, as Ella reached up to comb her fingers through her dark hair, that she had been sleeping deeply.
