STONE COATL GUIDE! Ring Selection The most important ring to bring is the Scaredy Cat ring, so when the masks come, you can scare them away and let your group/yourself heal. Make sure to have lots of buffs, Fleet Feet or Coyote Spirit is good near the end of the fight, but not necessary in the beginning. Divinity is one of the best you can bring, it helps out a lot because you don't have many stopping points in the encounter. Also, bring a lot of buffs because you'll need them for most of the encounter, make sure that the person who is most willing to use powerups has Defib if you're going in a crew. Solo or in Crew? Despite popular belief, Stone Coatl is possible solo. If you have Scaredy Cat and Divinity, solo will be pretty easy for you. Solo, is much harder if you have very few attacking rings, for solo, the only buff you should have is Divinity, all the others are a waste of a slot.
If you're in a crew, make sure you're all supressed to the same CL or else the monsters will be too hard for one of your crew members. Strategy This is the most important part of the quest, without strategy, no matter how good you are at everything else, YOU WILL FAIL! The Masks: For the masks, you/you and your crew will probably be pretty worn out by the wave before it, the first thing to do is to use Scaredy Cat on the Mask, while its away, regenerate your health and then fight it. The Coatl: Making it this far is pretty easy, this is the hard part. The most common mistake when you fight the Coatl is fighting it right next to it. Its attacks are mostly short range, the only long range attack it has is teleporting you near it, which isn't really an attack. If it does teleport you near it, just run away from it. When you're fighting the Coatl, you should always delegate 1 person to fight its minions, preferably the person with Scaredy Cat. If you're solo however, you should scare his minions away with Scaredy Cat when you need health, you hit him and his minions when you can, and when he draws you in, run away. Walkthrough When you first enter, make sure everyone is at full health and stamina, and then walk further in. The first wave is Feathered Coatls, for these, stay together and you each should take one. After the Coatls, a Mask comes out for you, get someone to use Scaredy Cat on it and heal. When it comes back, kill it. The next wave is Tiny Terrors, this might be a little hard solo because Tiny Witch Doctors spawn also, if you get a Witch Doctor solo, scare it away as much as possible and heal. If you are in a crew this will be almost the same strategy as the Coatls. After the Tiny Terrors are done, another mask comes, use the same strategy on this mask that you used before. The final wave is of Bladed Vases, this is the most problematic wave for crews because they all stand together, for this wave, you should each take a corner so other people's Bladed Vases don't hit you. Solo, this wave should be pretty easy. Now comes the final mask, use the usual strategy on this one too. Finally, you get to the Coatl itself, make sure that you have 1-2 people killing its minions while its attacking you. Stay together, and as soon as you get teleported inwards, run away. Have the person with the most powerups stay in the center Defibing people when they die, and healing everyone else. When the Coatl's health is down to about 2000, everyone should go in, because when the Coatl dies, all its minions die too. Solo Strategy for the Coatl: The first thing it will do is suck you in towards it. Run away, but stay inside the range of most of your distance rings. When its minions come out, use Scaredy Cat on them and heal. Fire shots at the Coatl as often as possible, without losing too much stamina. REMEMBER: NEVER get caught kneeling when the Coatl teleports you inwards, that is the way I died on my first try. CONGRATS You've finished, click the tablet to exit and head over to Rin and Lin.
note: this is my first attempt at a guide, if i messed up tell me

doesn't the recently update make the scady tactic not so good cause it temporary freezes the game? alternative, maybe to use duct tape or quicksand. Ring selection: any defense buffing is great. fleet & coyote i don't think are very useful. even if you run in circles the throne is small it doesn't really make a difference. those could be better served with another armor buff in my opinion. Solo or Crew? like all bosses the number of minions that attack is dependent on your crew size. 6 person crew = 6 monsters per wave. 2 person crew = 2 monster per wave. So it might be a bad thing to go in without a full crew. I've done with just 2 people recently on easy, worked out amazing well. Strategy No real comment, it sounds like it would work fine. I prefer the really simple method a lot of buffs XD, but that's not a real strategy. Things to remember diagnosis is only good when you're in a group, and everyone is getting hurt. If you alone or with just a few people think about using bandage or wish they costs less stamina to heal a person. If you have full rage and you not buffing than remember to unload force in the animated. i'm sure they'll appreciate it XD If your worried about dying than make sure you have 2 defibs, its horrible when you can't revive the defiber. And if you have any rage use it when you defib.
