Pure Winter Love
Umm...Depends on who i'm facing, but my team MUST have at least four Flying Pokemon! >w<
Wow your team would have a big weakness to stealth rock then... ):
My team at the moment is based around using abomasnow's continuous hail and setting Toxic spikes/Stealth rock/spikes. Here it is:
Zapdos @ Choice specs
- Thunderbolt
- Heatwave
- Hidden power (ice)
- U-turn
I start with zapdos as he has a lot of type coverage and is pretty powerfull and fast so he can counter a lot of things that want to set up on me. The choice specs give three of zapdos' moves a power increase and U-turn's there for scouting and a quick switch.
Abomasnow @ Choice scarf
- Blizzard
- Wood hammer
- Hidden power (fire)
- Earthquake
Set's up the hail storm which also gives his blizzard 100% accuracy. I don't start with this guy incase the other team's got a tyrannitar or hippowdon. Choice scarf gives abomasnow a speed of about 360 (if i remember right) which can outspeed a lot of things and take them by suprise with good type coverage.
Tentacruel @ Black sludge
- Toxic spikes
- Rapid spin
- Rest
- Surf
Special wall. Set's the toxic spikes up and can also rapid spin away any spikes or stealth rock on me. Surf, surf, surf, rest and repeat. Obviously I can only take advantage of this on a special attacker as 'cruels defence is low. The T.spikes scare away any water absorbers like vaporeon or Lapras. Black sludge gives tentacruel back the hp taken away from hail.
Cloyster @ Choice band
- Avalanche
- Payback
- Spikes
- Exposion
Physical wall. Sets the spikes. Being slow, cloyster will nearly always get double damage on the first two attacks by going second and choice band adds to that damage. Explosion to take out any walls in my way.
Heatran @ Leftovers
- Overheat
- Stealth rock
- Taunt
- Roar
Normally am able to switch this guy in when a super effective fire attack's aimed at my ice types and he'll get no damage and an increased overheat from it due to ability, flash fire. Sets up my stealth rock and then if T.spikes/spikes are also set up i'll roar to get lots of damage and poison. Taunt is to stop any setting up. Leftovers prevents any hail damage.
Froslass @ Leftovers/bright powder (depending on rules)
- Shadow ball
- Swagger
- Attract
- Substitute
Froslass is just my little annoyer. 20% evasion in hail due to snow cloak, 50% miss due to swagger's confusion, and 50% to miss from attract. Maybe twice if I can set up sub. Shadow ball for STAB. Switch out for any fighting type attacks aimed at heatran or ice types, as it's a ghost it gets fighting/normal imunity. Rapid spin blocker too.
Whatcha think? :3
