Hello everyone ,
I have a situation but its related to this of course. You see I switched from going to a Episcopal Sunday school class to a baptist church Sunday school recently (September) and at the same time im taking a general biology class at my school. Some of the questions in my new Sunday school class are very confusing and half the time they aren't on what Jesus would do, they are on what we should do.
Some of these questions included :
How can wealth hinder discipleship?
Will i make Jesus my top priority, even above my family ?
Will I give up my time to help those in need ?
and Will I give my life to the one who offers me eternal life ?
As a result on trying to translate the answers to those questions... I recieved bad grades on two of my biology lab tests. My grades last semester were great but that was before I went to this church and switched to this Sunday school class. So my question here is should I quit this class and go back to my old one ? and did these questions play a role in anything ?
Thanks in advance and if it doesn't belong in this spot I am sorry but I really need to have a answer to this eek

A very important thing to remember is that what Jesus would do and what we should do are the same thing.
As for answering your question, don't do homework for a Sunday school class and neglect your schoolwork. Those questions are meant to be soul searching questions and if your SS teacher is requiring answers, yes, you should quit that SS class. I would even mention something to them, just in case they don't realize there is a problem. sweatdrop However, I'm Methodist, so I don't really know how the Baptist church does their SS.
