This thread is for the discussion of Malice Mizer's Shinwa album. I'll give some info on the album, as well as links to the songs via YouTube. Don't forget to vote in the poll. ^_^ I thought that this one deserved its own, separate thread from the other singles and whatnot, since it was a dedication to Kami.
Shinwa Release date:February 1st, 2000
Track list:1. Saikai2. Unmei no Deai3. Mora no Naka no TenshiNotes:This was released on what would have been Kami's 27th birthday. It contained songs that he had hidden away because he didn't think they went with the band's style. The guys found them, and decided to release them in his honor. Rest in peace, Kami. Inside of the booklet, there was also a poem written in French. An incredible event An irony of destiny Without introduction Everything is but a restart The past, the present, the future Turns in a spiral Here, over there, suddenly They come back His spirit stays always vivid It can come back from one moment to another Finding the exit of the labyrinth Being the craftsman of his fortune A beautiful poem for our beautiful butterfly, Kami. I don't know what it goes for now, but a few months ago, I saw it on Amazon.com for about $30. ^^

You should post the poem here, and i can translate it to english since french is my first language. Though it may not sound as great in english as in french.

Like I said, if I ever run across it, I will be sure to. For some reason though, it doesn't seem like any one has ever posted it on the internet.
(Side note: I didn't know you were french. XD)

ok. I bet its a wonderfull poem though, it will be great to see the feelings towards kami pouring out into one great poem, i can imagine it now.

Awsome, as soon as I get the pm i will be sure to translate it for everyone.
(I started speaking it since i was 7, and started learning how to write it since i was 9 or 10, roleplaying with a few friends helped me get to know the language abit better lol)

Ahh, I love this... My friend actually bought it for me from an anime convention a few years ago! <33
The VHS has a small video in the start with Mana, Kozi and Yu~ki pretty much standing over a grave, and putting roses on it. The VHS has all 3 songs on it, with concept art drawn by Yu~ki and Kozi. Also, they found music on his keyboard after he died, and I hear he showed it to them before he died wanting to play it, but Mana said it didn't fit with them at the moment, so Kami put it away.
There are actually 2 poems, and a comment in Japanese kanji from the band members; I'll post them:
un evenement inoui
une ironie du destin
sans preambule
tout n'est que recommencement
le passe le present le futur
tournent en spirale
ici la-bas soudain
ils reviennent
son esprit reste toujours vivace
il peut revenir d'un moment a l'autre
trouver la sortie du labyrinthe
etre l'artisan de sa fortune
Mana actually wrote the poems, Kozi and Yu~ki made the art in the book, and they all arranged the music for Kami. I love this item, it's my most precious item. I keep it safe in my room with a full picture of his drumset and all of it's pieces, and I watch it every year on his birthday. :')

You're welcome! It's my pleasure to share. I just wish now that there was a way to rip something off of a VHS to put onto the internets... :/
Oh, and before I forget: My favorite song off the album has to be mori nake de tenshi(Angel of the forest). This song is just so bubbly and bouncy, so.. Happy. It reminds me of Kami so much, it makes me cry every time I hear it. :'3

Being the craftsman of his fortune This is the poem in english, i had to translate it myself to make it seem atleast close to as beautiful as it sounds in french, some things could have been different, but i think this what was meant for it.
