This thread is for the discussion of Malice Mizer's third album, Merveilles. I'll give some info on the album, as well as links to the songs via YouTube. Don't forget to vote in the poll. ^_^ Merveilles Release date:March 18th, 1998 Track listing:1. de Merveilles (Couldn't find one, sorry) 2. Syunikiss ~Nidome no Aitou~3. Bel Air ~Kuuhaku no Shunkan no Naka De~4. Illuminati5. Brise6. Aegean ~Sugisarishi Kaze to Tomo ni~7. Au Revoir8. Ju te Veux9. S-Conscious10. Le Ciel11. Gekka no Yasoukyoku12. Bois de Merveilles Line up:Gackt- Vocals, piano Mana- Guitar, synthesizer Kozi- Guitar, synthesizer Yu~ki- Bass Kami- Drums Notes:Sorry about not posting the Illuminati video, but it has nudity, so I didn't want any of us to get in trouble. Also, I could only put 10 choices in the poll, so I took out the two smaller-known songs out. *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* So, this is my favorite Malice Mizer album. I can't get enough of it. Gackt's vocals improved, as well as the band overall, I think. Too bad we couldn't see Kami improve anymore. T^T

I have to say that I love Bel Air. I love the WHOLE album, but if I had to pick a favorite...
I bought a Merveilles remix-like album called Les Singles de Merveilles, and it came with the full, near-30-minute Bel Air video. XD It was so fun to watch. It even had credits at the end. Mana was "Maid/High Prostitute." Because Mana can't just be a prostitute. He has to show his social status, too. XD

Not sure whole album is pretty ok. Not really one point that stood out to me though.

Ummm... I don't know. @.@ I got if off of eBay and I just know it came with the "Les Singles de Merveilles" and the DVD for the Bel Air video. And the remixes are a little odd, I have to say. Especially the Gekka no Yasuokyoku remix. XD It is all done with an accordian.

I know this is going to sound really prissy of me... But... I don't think that I should. Like I said, I can do links to YouTube, but I wouldn't feel right making a download thread. Sorry. sad

I haven't heard the whole album yet sad (am working on it though XD) so far all I've heard is Illuminati and Ma Cheri- though I reather like them both. The first time I saw the video for Illuminati (both the live and the PV) my eyes popped out of my head- totally was NOT expecting to see what I saw.
I just youtube everything. I've thought of buying some j-rock CDs; Malice Mizer and some Versailles, but....maybe if J-rock ever becomes very popular and I can get a CD at Walmart for like $13 sweatdrop other than that, it's a little beyond my price range cuz I'm a poor college kid with bills to pay. xp

There is a nice place on eBay that sells sealed J-rock CDs for very cheap. I got two full length Gackt CDs for $25, shipping and all. The name is AnimeCast. You should look for them. ^^
