In a post apocalyptic world a war rages between the Dragons and humans. For many ages the dragons held strong but with new technology and thru sheer numbers the humans seem to be reigning supreme, but what they don't know is the dragons have learned to adapt, changing form to fit in and disguise themselves. Only a few dragons still dare to wonder in their true forms. Some humans side with the dragons, aiding them in their efforts to reclaim their stolen land and others try to hunt them to extinction.
Some of the dragons are even starting to fight amongst themselves. The ones who have accepted the powers given to them by the the earth making them able to disguise themselves are seen as cowards by those who refuse to hide and are continuously being hunted.

Humans: Rebels- Humans that aid and befriend the dragons in their efforts of reclaiming their land and often oppose the nobles in protests and combat
Hunters- Humans that hunt the dragons either of their own free will or as ordered by the nobles
Nobles- Humans of noble blood, those who run and control a vast majority of the towns and cities that still stand
Civilians- humans that have no opinion on the Dragon war at hand, are ignorant or choose not to act on their opinions and just try and live day to day
Riders- Humans that fight alongside and partner up with a dragon.
Dragons:
Changelings- Dragons that have accepted the gift from the earth and all the dragons before them that were killed in this war and given extra powers that help them disguise themselves in a world being taken over by humans
Nobles- Some of the oldest of dragons and believe that hiding with the humans is cowardice and look down upon any who choose that path
Avengers- Dragons that hate all humans and seek revenge against their fallen comrades. Some are changelings as well but most are nobles.
Flyers - Dragons that partner up with a human to better their cause.
The stolen- The stolen are dragons that were captured by noble humans and are forced to fight against their own kind or are tested and studied and sometimes even put on display.

Shin whipped around, snapping at the remaining dogs when she heard the groan and crash of the cage over head. She looked up, right at a hunk of metal almost as large as her. She leapt away, skidding as another hunk fell into the sand. She heard shrieks and whines of dogs as they were crushed, while she ducked and rolled to avoid the same. She looked up as she heard Raiels words, her tail flicking as she saw the large blue descending upon her. She had to bite back a snarl, holding herself still, her ear fans flat. It was true, she was stuck in the pit without his help.... but she wasnt used to allowing others to help her.

Raiel flew low, spitting flame across the spectators' seats. Guards came at them with electric prongs trying to stop him. Roaring with all his might he landed, crushing the humans beneath his feet. The blue carefully grabbed Shin, being sure his talons didn't hurt her. His powerful wings flapped with all their might, kicking up dust from the pit as slowly but surely Shin was lifted out. The Blue placed her down gently but the humans were upon them quickly. The blue sent a jet of searing flames, holding them off so Shin could right herself before he flew off like the others. "This is where I leave you." He said as he shot into the sky like the others. "Good luck! he called before his blue scales disappeared into the sky. Shin!" Raiel called as he took up her flank, sending snapping dogs flying with a flick of his powerful tail. I have to get Nat, you go after Damien and I'll find you. He said, sure he could keep Nat safe. With those final words he ran off back from where he had came.

Shin nodded to the blue, though her scales still itched where his talons had touched her. She gave one glance to Raiel, acknowledging his thoughts, before darting the opposite way. He would get Nat.. she would get Lite. She raced up the steps that acted as seats, brushing dogs, guards and people aside with her head, her horns and the clash of her talons on stone caused others to flee. A dog came charging down at her, certain in his higher ground, barking and howling as he did. It took only a flick of her head to send him flying over her back, his teeth nicking on the bone-like substance of her helm. She came to Damians platform, her sides shifting as she panted, her eyes roaming over the empty area. He had his own passage way, whose door stood wide. He had fled quickly. She lowered her head and changed into the passageway, chasing his scent.

Raiel pushed past the guards that flocked around him, prodding at him like cattle. burns covered his legs as he roared and snapped at the guards forcing them out of his way. He ran through the door that led to where he had left Nat, breaking it with his huge size. More humans were upon him as soon as he entered the area, they were frantic sending more dogs at him. Rai sent a jet of flame infront of him forcing them to keep their distance. Nat where are you?! He called with his mind as a bold dog lunged through the flame and sunk his teeth into Raiel's hide. A loud growl erupted from his throat as he jerked and sent the dog flying.

Nat slipped out from under the cage, looking at the mass of men and dogs surrounding Raiel. "s**t.." She ran, right at them, charging through them. The men didnt see her, the dogs were more interested in him. Her swung her pack over her shoulders, snatched a sword from one mans belt and swung it through anothers neck. He fell, leaving a path. The sword was heavy, and she wielded it clumsily, but they were distracted and she came from behind, making for several easy kills in a row. She cut through the group, working her way to Raiel. She was breaking through the last ring around him when one of the senior guards noticed her. "Traitor!" He yelled, pointing at her, causing all the fighting, the pushing, the barking to halt, all eyes to turn to her. She took the moment of stillness to run up to Raiel and pull herself up his shoulder and onto his back. She stared down at the wide eyes of the men and dogs, before speaking. "Lets get the hell out of here."
Shin ran down the tunnel, her body moving easily, her head lowered so her horns were flat to her neck. Her scales tingled as the tunnel grew smaller, her tail flicking at the small space. She knew she was headed down. The direction made her feel like she was headed back toward her cage. When the ground sloped upward, she knew where it led.. right into the mansion.. his home.

Raiel roared loudly, startling even the dogs as Nat climbed into her place. With one swift swing of his tail he cleared a path behind him and pivoted around. We have to go help Lite and Shin he told her as he spread his powerful wings pushing himself only a few feet off the ground. Raiel was a talented flyer and planned to use it to his advantage. Hang on tight He told her and glided back out the way he had come until he was in the pit again. His wings stung slightly where swords and arrows had punctured the thin membrane, but the black drag had flown in much worse conditions. Gliding down the corridor after Shin's scent, he hoped he wasn't too late and that the fool Damian hadn't done anything stupid or harmed the white drag. Shin certainly wouldn't be pleased.

Nat clung onto Raiel's neck, a smile plastered on her face, even with the circumstances. She was flying, the way Raiel moved under her, the feeling of the wind slipping across her face, she fought back a giggle, wondering how soaring above the clouds would feel if simply gliding made her stomach flutter.
Shin charged headlong into the door marking the end of the tunnel, crashing through it, sending wood splintering everywhere. She straightened, staring around her. She was in the lower floors of the mansion, near the kitchen, if her nose told her anything. She darted off, following Damians scent still, he had run up the stairs. She leapt up them easily, her talons tearing apart the carpet that covered them. Down a hall, turn, turn. She went still as she turned into a vast hall, windows along one side. The ceiling, walls, windows, everything... it was all decorated with horns, wings, skulls, claws, scales... it was decorated with dragons. She stared, wide eyed down the hall, her mind freezing, the many colors and sizes suggesting that over 100 dragons marked this hall. Her nostrils flared, anger sparking within her. She stalked down the hall, head high, horns gleaming, their moving, gleaming spirals putting all the frozen, dead, lifeless helms to shame.

Raiel growled loudly as the hall began to narrow, no longer large enough for him to glide. Folding his wings against him suddenly he fell into a gallop. He wasn't build for running and the slowness agitated him. Hold on tight He told Nat as he began to change beneath her. His scales turning to flesh. He held her on his back as he ran, never faltering. His strides were long and quick, faster than in his dragon form even with Nat on his back. "Are you alright?" He asked. He knew he was getting close to shin now, her scales had left tracks in the overly expensive carpet.

As Euranna dragged herself up ontop of the roof she couldn't help but stare in awe of all the dragons as they flew away, even as half of her hanged dangerously off the edge of the building back above the pit. Where dogs and men with sticks were ready to kill her and anyone else. Finally scrabbling all the way she turned her small body and looked back down into the pit. In short it was choas. People scrabbled to leave as guards scrabbled to get in. She snarled when she saw men attacking the dragon she was supposed to be fighting against now. Taking a chuck of the roof the size of a car hood up with her tail she sent it a well aimed missle at a group of them running toward her. It turned out humans made great boiling pins. After that she sent missle after rock missle with her tail at guards, taking them out in groups and pairs. Finally though the last of the dragons were leaving and she saw Raiel and Nat flying out toward the hole, she turned and lepted onto a lower roof and slid down toward the ground. It was alot further than she expected so she barrel rolled a couple times across the ground before stopping and running toward the forest. A couple of theings happened then. One, she realized the plan had worked and she was free. Two, for the first time in her life was able to run further than the arena allowed her. Three, she had no idea where to go. Thinking that the woodsy place was her best bet. She ran best she could for it. Trying her hardest to not hit trees. It was harder to balance on soft dirt than concert she found out. She zig-zagged inbetween trees going as far from the place as she could. Wondering where the others were headed. She looked up to see but there was no more in sight. Dragons were fast runners but flying didn't compare. 'Well crap...'/i] she thought with a mental sigh.

Nat clung to him, her arms around his neck, her body leaning forward so she didnt choke him. "Yes, Im fine... Thank you." She had the urge to get off, but saw he had no intention of stopping. When they entered the mansion, and saw Shins trail up the carpeted stairs, she knew where Damian had fled to.
Shin stalked down the hall, her head raised, her horns almost scraping the ceiling above her. It was a large hall, but she was the height of a draft, with a longer neck and at least 2 feet of horns above. She felt the muscles of her shoulders flex, an unconscious move, one that would have flared her wings... if she still had them. Her tail lashed behind her, her lips lifted. She had no fear of loosing Damian, from the stench of him and the way the air moved, she knew there was no other passage way leading away from the room at the end of the hall. Her head lowered, a snarl rising from her as she knocked the doors in, the sharp horns scaring the wood. She rose, staring into the dark room, her pupils slitting as they fixed on Damian, sitting, with his back against the head board of the bed, pressed as close as he could be. Lite squeaked, before yelping, Damians hand tightening on the dragon. Damian whimpered as Shin's growl deepened into a full throaty snarl.

Once Raiel reached the top of the stairs Shin was in his sights and he skidded to a halt. "This is her fight..." Rai said softly to Nat as he let her slide off his back. He didn't want her to see the things Shin planned on doing to Damian. This area was empty save for a few servants, everyone else was trying to stop the dragons from killing every person in sight with the hopes of recapturing a few. Raiel stood close to Nat, protectively watching over her as he waited for Shin to return so they could hopefully escape, but they were running out of time.

"G-get back you!" Damian stuttered as he watched Shin. She was back lit, her horns shadows against the light of the hall behind her. Her tail cracked against the wood of the door as she advanced on him. Her scales neither glittered nor glowed, but her eyes burned like embers, pent of anger and rage boiling to be released. Damian pressed himself farther back into the pillows, trembling as she stalked closer to him. "Wh-what do you want?"
Shin barked a laugh, one that made Damian jump. She leaned over the bed, glaring down at his quaking form. Her voice echoed right between his ears, making him curl tighter into himself. I want you to know my suffering.
He stared at her, his body covered in a light sheen of sweat, muscles trembling, his voice wavering. "Y-your.. gonna kill me?"
Her lips curled and he recoiled from the glint of saliva covered fangs. If only it were not to easy a fate for you. Suffering of much greater extremes should be your final realization.
He stared at her, his eyes widening, wondering at such horrors she could possibly be describing. The it hit him, like a punch in the cut. Caged, tormented, tortured, crippled, deranged and enraged she stood before him, using her first hour of freedom to seek revenge on him, her tormentor. His bladder emptied at the idea of how she could possible manage to cause those sensations. "Y-you done have time... You'll be caged before you succeed!" His voice rose in triumph.
Her lips rippled with a snarl. Her head snapped forward. A scream rose form Damian, before being silenced harshly. Her head coiled back, showing a large gash over Damians chest, blood flowing from it. I never said I would do it here, human.
Damian gasped, his breath catching with the pain, his body trembling, mind shutting off from the sensation. He didnt notice when his hand released Lite, when the little dragon shot from his grasp, disappearing with a shriek down the hall, shooting like lightening away from him. He didnt notice when the sheets of the bed were yanked off, his body with them. When Shin turned, stalking down the hall, dragging Damians dazed form after her.
