If you want to become part of the crew you must be an active member of the guild and help support the guild whether it be by donating, making banners, helping new RPers, or even helping enforce rules and getting new members to join. If you want to become part of the crew PM either Snowstorm, Benji go bang or Alikzander with an explanation of why you think you should be promoted.

We aren't very strict here and encourage you to invite your friends. Wretched Familiars has summed up the rules for the guild in general pretty well in the main forum after the roleplay rules.
