 ~*~Lucinda Fallow~*~
Lucinda sat in a taxi, her hood down and her green eyes traveling over the glimmering buildings of New York.
She knew the Messenger would be appearing all over the world to those chosen.
The Messenger had come to her almost a year ago and now it had began its journey once more.
She glanced at the clock in the cab, soon she would be on a flight to California.
With luck, her targets would still be attainable there.
A smile formed on her lips, soon enough...

Sairen laid tranquil on the nameless treeless grassy plains of New Mexico, the wind swayed, blowing the grass back and forth. Mooing wild cows could be seen from afar. He was reflecting on the act of leaving his friends behind, because of a whimsical, and unknown voice. Red, Tsume...sorry. He sat up, and stared into space with a serious expression. "I mustn't waste time here." He slowly stood up, the wind abnormally grew violent as he got on his feet., then stared at the west sky. "Destiny awaits me." He placed his hands in pockets, and began walking, the wind seemed to be trailing him, and his feet lightly levitated.

Lucinda boarded the plane, having no baggage nor carry-ons made it quick and easy. She found herself alone on the plane, the other passengers probably struggling with baggage check and crying children.
She had deliberately chosen a window seat, the change in temperature would awaken her as usual. She laid her head against the glass window and closed her eyes, drifting into sleep a few minutes before the passengers boarded.
Her dreams were filled with a mix of strange things, her eyes fluttered in her sleep though she did not awake.
It was a matter of time before she would awake across the country.

Zataka stared at the ocean as she walked barefoot on the beach, her tiny shoes in hand. She had no particular destination at the moment, she just wandered along the sand.
She was lost in her thoughts of the dream, wondering whether she would finally find a purpose for this life she was given. Then, as if giving a sign, a plane overhead brought her back to reality. She stared at the shape of the plane, imagining a great metal arrow; her small body turned, and she made her way towards the plane, back to the city of San Diego.

Lucinda opened her eyes slowly, feeling the warmth of the sun against her cheek. It had been a long flight and yet she had slept through it.
She yawned softly and ignored the bickering woman beside her as she whined of her husband.
Lucinda smiled and nodded, making short comments as she felt the plane's wheels screech on the asphalt a few times before remaining on land.
She stretched and said good bye to the lady, squeezing past the seats just as everyone began to stand to retrieve their carry-ons.
She nodded when the flight attendants and the pilot greeted her, and walked of the plane and into the airport.
"Time to see what else destiny has in store for me..." she whispered to herself.
She bought a few Huge Macadamia Nut Cookies on her way out and munched on one as she enjoyed the sun on her face.
She stood outside, wondering where to begin to look. Her mind wandered, reminding her of how much she wanted to go to the beach. It had been ages since she saw the ocean.
She smiled, stuffing the whole cookie into the bag and placing it in the pouch on her waist. After hearing the satisfying click of the pouch locking, she ran, already knowing which way the nearest beach was located.
"I doubt destiny minds if I enjoy myself a bit first." she giggled, a few people turning their heads to stare at the strange girl.

Zataka took a sip of the smoothie she took from the store, having made a detour to quench her thirst. She walked on towards the city when a figure ran past her, the scent of cookies filling her nostrils.
'I'd have preferred a dream about cookies, not weird lights talking about destiny...' she thought to herself sarcastically, continuing her walk and hoping she'd find something to give her purpose.

Lucinda had been ignoring the bombardment of thoughts when one caught her by surprise. She lost her balance and tripped, landing on her knees and palms
"Owwwwwwwwwwwwwww..." she complained aloud, lifting herself up slightly as her hands and knees stung horribly.

Zataka turned around to see an adult lifting herself up from the floor, whining softly.
Zataka reached into her pocket and pulled out a small bottle of hand sanitizer as she approached the adult carefully, extending the bottle to the lady from a distance.
"Disinfect?..." was all she said, waiting patiently for the lady's response.

Lucinda looked up, squinting slightly because of the bright sun. She smiled sheepishly, showing her scratched hands.
"I'd get your bottle dirty..." she responded, she let their eyes meet, permitting the girls thoughts to rewind. "She knows of the Messenger..." she thought, her face showing no acknowledgment.

Zataka opened the bottle carefully, and poured slightly on the lady's outstretched hands, ignoring the fact that the lady probably wasn't expecting it.
"Might sting..." she stated to the lady, fanning air unto her hands with her own smaller hand.

Sairen ran across the field, his feet were soon levitated by the air, he stepped on as if it were solid. He focused his thoughts on the surrounding breeze, wind currents pushed him upwards. "I won't fall this time..." He yelled loudly, the wind carried him, he began gliding in the air at rapid speeds. A small cyclone protected him from pressure of the high altitude. He flew for a while across New Mexico, but was eventually exhausted. He saw a city under him, he decided to land and rest. My limit is increasing, but it's too tiring... He landed on an alley in San Diego, small drafts blew aside the trash that was laying around. He heavily panted as he walked toward a bench, and sat down

Lucilda closed one eye instinctively, her hands stinging slightly more than before. She ignored it and let some of the sanitizer drip onto her knees.
She rubbed her hands lightly, then did the same to her knees. She stood carefully, her legs feeling awkward.
"Thank God there was no bright talking lights this time." she joked, patting off non-existant dust off her clothes.
"Thank you..." she said softly, eyeing the girl for a response.

Zataka stared at the lady, showing no immediate response to her comment. Then, she let out a small laugh and handed her the small bottle of sanitizer.
"You even fall in your dreams? You must be really clumsy..." Zataka took another sip from her smoothie and then smiled a little at the strange lady.
'She's special too...' she thought absentmindedly as she sat down on a nearby bench to finish up her drink.

Lucinda giggled half-heartedly, feeling quite ashamed. "Even in my dreams..." she said softly as she received the bottle. She blinked, she had no need for the bottle now. She sat on the bench beside the girl, returning the bottle and retrieving the bag of cookies.
Luckily the treats had gone unharmed, she pulled an untouched cookie out and offered it to the girl. "Cookie?" she asked, catching the thought referring to her. "So she caught on that quick, but doesn't trust me...Interesting." she thought to herself, happy that the girl had not been easy to befriend.
