The area where the huge training was to take place was about two times as big as the other kido training field in this area. It was soley devoted to kido of both types. There were target on large wooden pillars, human wooden dummies, vertical columns, and assorted platform. The field was designed for alot of kido spell to be fired at once.
Yamoto sighed, he looked at everything and smiled. "This should be good." Yamoto sat down and began to meditate. He was going to need all the wisdom and patience he could muster to handle all these shinigami at once.

Kinsetsu was eager to begin this training. It would be his first official training under a captain since graduation from the academy. He had learned the initial Hado's and Bakudo's in the academy quite easily so he felt a bit confident heading into this. He had always been a calculated individual and with his eyes visual ability he could break down the reaitsu formations of each Kidou.
He walked into the training area and it was clear he was the first to arrive other than the captain who seemed to be awaiting all his students. He respected Yamato greatly and the Captain had proven quite intelligent in their conversation on the Kidou Cannon. He knew he would be a great instructor, hopefully all the students would make his task easier.
"Hello Captain Yamoto. I thank you for the opportunity you have given us to improve our skills."
He kept his introduction short as he was certain Yamoto was mentally preparing all the steps he would do to make the training as effective as possible.

Kazuki who woked up excited about the upcoming training that he will have with Captain Yamoto which he will be teaching him and a number of other Shinigami a comprehensive kido spells from both Bakudo and Hado which made Kazuki excited, because he can't wait to learn new spells. Learning the basic kido spell was easy to him and was more excited to learn more hard spells to increase his arsenal.
As he walked to the training area he saw a shinigami already there, together with the captain who is also present at the training area. So he approached both of them.
"Good Morning Captain Yamoto and my fellow shinigami, my name is Kazuki Red from Squad 1. During this training I will be in your care"
He said his quick but yet informative introduction with a soft smile to both the Captain and his fellow shinigami.

"I'MA LEARN TO FIRE MY LASERS!" The somewhat high pitched voice might have been the perfect thing to break Yamoto's meditation. He might notice the boy from previous interactions, but most likely wouldn't have been happy to see him. Especially when he was interrupting him so rudely! Winking and waving frantically, the boy had appeared just three feet behind the sitting man, giggling in an annoying fashion. "Like ma' outfit!?" Speaking loud and clear, he skipped girlishly around the man, prancing in a very gay (HAPPY TIEME ;0!) fashion. "I look like you guys now.. I got a robe and all that stuff!" Speaking the truth, Saki pointed to emphasize each part of his outfit. He was in fact wearing the Shinigami uniform for the first time in about three and a half years. It wasn't too comfortable, and he didn't like it's wavering, breezy feeling.. it'd have to do if he wanted to go out today. He couldn't come play (Peacefully) around the Seireitei without following certain codes.. That meant uniform. Couldn't get rid of the accessories though; Clip on skull earrings, flat-bottom "Skateboard" shoes, and a concealed belt of ginto. His only other accessories included two Seele Schneider and the smallish Zanpakuto of his, both easily concealable within his robe. "Well.. Do I look cute and teachable or what, mister 'splosive beam-throwin' man!?"

Sejiro walked onto the massive training ground and was awe struck. He had never seen such a training field, dedicated to the sole purpose of improving Kido. Sejiro glanced over to see Kazuki and three other shinigami on the field already. He noticed one in particular, the man was meditating quietly and softly while the commotion around him grew louder. Sejiro's heart jumped instantly when he realized who that man was. The tattoos, the mask and a distinct reiatsu. That must be Captain Yamoto, he thought to himself. He approached the captain, hesitant to upset him by pulling him from his meditation. "Captain Yamoto, I do not mean to be rude but, it is an honor to meet you and I look forward to learning much from your tutelage," Sejiro announced.

Patrick took each step into the training ground, quietly, timed and deliberately. Each one was counted and controlled so that they were the same length as far as the human eye could see, slow and quiet. Patrick wasn't trying to sneak up on the Shinigami but it seemed like a good time to practice footwork as any.
Upon arrival, rather late considering the speed they were moving at but early enough due to the fact they had set off early, there weren't a great deal of things to do in the Sereitei.
The man who was clearly the teacher, dressed in a Haori which only Captains wore, was meditating, what a pain. It'd be rude to just interrupt him in the middle of it and so Patrick just sat down among the other trainees, they all seemed to be men save for Patrick themself and a boy, boys aren't really men.

Genji, with a spring in his step and a Lady GaGa song playing in his head, strolled to the Mass Kido Training. He was so happy to finally be on the way to learning more magnificent and powerful spells. He was especially grateful to have his skill and brilliant captain teach him and all the others. This was going to be so grand.

As he entered the training he ignored the odd looks from some of the non-seated and other seats shinigami. It seemed word of his unusual temper had traveled. In order to avoid questions he gave a small glare and they left him be. In a way he was having fun toying with their minds to make them think he was still angry, while in reality he was actually in a pleasant mood. Entering the Training Grounds, he found his newest vitctim friends, talking to a newly seated member, apparently a fuku-taicho. "Afternoon Yamato-San. You prepared?" His pale face turned in a sickly sweet smirk, which indicated he was ready to learn from Captain Yamato or Captain Tansen. "In it to win it."

Tso walked into the Kidou training grounds as the newest member of 5th Squad. Tso was so new to the squad that she still wore her academy uniform. Tso had not been issued a 5th Squad uniform yet. She arrived to the squad and was told to report here for Kidou training. She had not even met her Captain yet. Looking around she could see all the other shinigami sitting around waiting for the training to begin. They all had different uniforms on from their respective squads. Tso felt left out because some of the others were looking her up and down. But why wouldn't they, she was wearing a student uniform from the academy. In their eyes she wasn't considered a true shinigami yet. She was just some student who was most likely there to help clean up the range for the real shinigami. Little did they know that she was in fact a shinigami just like them .... well, almost like them .... but not as powerful.
Tso took a seat in the grass away from the others ....

Kinsetsu seeing the small gathering all approach the Captain decided it was his time to leave the scenery for the moment. He preferred less social context at the moment as he had to prepared himself for the training. As a seated shinigami he would be learning tougher kido's than most here currently. As he slowly walked away he noticed a young female shinigami seated by the wayside. He could sense a nervosity in her so felt inclined to head into her direction to possibly be a calming voice. It was apparent this would be a new experience for her.
"Hello, there I'm Kinsetsu Ichikuri, 5th seat of squad 12. I have not seen your face around yet but it is my honor to meet another shinigami. The training may be a bit difficult but with focus we will all succeed as Yamato will ensure of it."

Yamoto opened his eyes to see who was all there. It wasn't the crowd he had hoped for but it was good enough. Yamoto rose to his feet and looked at each shinigami in the eye. "Welcome, you are all here to learn kido spells under me. The way we are going to do this is that I will pick a spell and demonstrate it. If you wish to learn the spell please by all means aim at one of the target. If it is a spell that you have learnt or do not wish to learn please just remain quiet until I show a spell that you wish to learn. "The first spell we will learn is Hado 11." Yamoto walked behind a rock and picked up something. When he came back into view he was holding a small bunny in one hand and a chain in the other. He quickly wrapped the chain around the rabit and put it down on the ground. "This spell is only effective against living objects, so it has to be taught this way. The first thing you need to do is concentrate your reiatsu at the top of the chain and the finger that are touching the chain, after that it is basic." Yamoto quickly did what he had just explained, but he added a little power than needed to show the desired effects of where the reiatsu should be focused. "Next all you need to do is just say the spell's name. Hado 11 Bound Lightning" The visible reiatsu suddenly shot down the chain and into the bunny. The bunny's muscles began to have spasim and it began to convulse in a ceasur. After a few seonds it was dead. "Now who would like to try?"

The Captain's earlier appearance of being a kind, wise man had been shattered in just an instant. One moment he had been meditating and the next he had killed a poor defenceless rabbit in cold blood, why did he need to do it to the rabbit? What had the poor rabbit done? Why couldn't he just show it off on someone who wouldn't immediately die upon being hit by it. All these questions and more popped up in Patrick's head. On the other hand Patrick's Zanpakto only had one thing to say, in perfect unison both the spirits chimed. "How vile."
Nevertheless it seemed a good Kido to learn, it could be handy for a few select situations. Patrick lifted up a hand and made the request. "Might I have the first go." Patrick was unsure on where exactly the gear for this part was, although seeing the Captain produce it from behind a rock gave Patrick a pretty good idea. Patrick just hoped they wouldn't have to kill any more rabbits. Their Zanpakto already hated them and enforcing the idea that Patrick was a cold hearted killer seemed to be a terrible idea, especially when Patrick so desperately needed their respect.

Tso looked up at the figure that stood over her and was just about to say something when her Captain spoke which demanded her attention. "Hello ... my name is Tso and I am new to 5th Squad. I just came out of the academy and this is my first day in the squad. I would be happy to talk with you more Ichikuri-San but my Captain is teaching a Kidou that I need to learn .... if you don't mind?" Tso stood up and said, "Yamoto-San, I would be honored to learn this Kidou from you."
Tso jumped up and made her way down to the place where Yamoto-San had pulled his rabbit. Tso loved animals and never wanted to hurt one out of greed or anything but, this was for a good cause. Plus, maybe they would eat the rabbits for dinner later and it wouldn't be a total waste after all.
Tso bowed to Yamoto-San when she neared him and was ready for the lesson ....

Kinsetsu understood Tao's eagerness to return to the captain once he spoke. He took precedence here and he took no offense to her leaving his side to go see him. He himself slowly headed over there. He seemed rather passive with regard to the training but it was not due to lack of interest but his specialty in the academy had always been kido's He was the fastest to learn all the Kido's from 1-10 as a student and this was due to his eyes ability. It allowed him to break up all the reaitsu formations to its smallest details.
Standing with the rest of the shinigami he watched the Captain using a chain to send a shot of manipulated reaitsu through his palm. He was able to analyze the formation and had a good sense of what kind of manipulation was needed. The key in this kido formation from what he saw was the ability to concentrate the reaitsu and keep it in motion within that confined area, creating the electrical effect. Not too difficult he thought but could take a few tries to get the hang of it.
As the Captain asked who would like to go first he decided against it as he wanted the others who could not see how the kido was formed a chance, as well as the opportunity to analyze the other new shinigami. He stood casually, arms crossed at his chest, allowing the others to reply to the open invitation by the Captain.

Sejiro stood staring at the dead bunny, a little shocked by the way the bunny's body spasmed. "Kill the bunny and move on Sejiro!" a voice whispered, "It is merely a stepping stone in the right direction." "I know deep down you hold the desire to kill Sejiro!" Sejiro had no idea where the voice was coming from but it rang in his head and echoed though out every corner of his mind. He was disturbed by this voice, it knew him like no one else knew him. Disdain filled Sejiro as the captain asked which shinigamis wanted to try this new Hado first. Sejiro raised his hand and said, "I will try it Captain."
