She slunk down on the rock a bit as she eyed a herd of zebra wandered by her, she hidden by some of the grass and also her scent away from the zebra's noses, she found this to be one of the perfect times. She waited before she started to creep forward, keeping her eyes on the up coming meal. She grinned flicking her tail around before taking off after the herd. For once very easily being able to keep up with it. She could already feel her stomach twist telling her that she was starting to get tired. Soon she was right behind one, reaching out before pouncing on it and pulling it down to the ground, growling loudly as she did.It wasn't long before she had it on the ground, she pulled it down and she started to pull at it a bit, her stomach grumbling a bit. She just wasn't sure if she was going to be able to eat it all.

It seemed Moyo was getting bigger and bigger with each passing day. His mane was growing in nice and thick and the lad was taking very much notice. The young boy couldn't be more thrilled. Soon he'd be a big lion like his mom and stepdad, and he'd be able to help out with hunting more.
For now, the young boy settled for prancing about the savanna and picking off rabbits and meerkats. Moyo had a personal distaste for meerkats with their trickery and personally loved crunching down around their necks the most. He wasn't a mass meerkat murder but if one was there and he was hungry and it wasn't the only option, the meerkat was going down.
So far on his prance through the savanna had been fruitless. It wasn't a life or death situation since he had his mom and stepdad that hunted but he had wanted to bring something back that would impress Neph.
To his dismay, nothing.
Until he spotted a familiar sight off in the distance. A lioness with a zebra kill. Moyo eyed the black and green lioness for a moment and really studied her pelt. She was pretty no doubt. With out much more thought the boy slowly started his way on over to investigate further not making much of an attempt to hide him self.

Emm flicked her tailed her tail around and panted a bit. Moving herself over the body a bit before pulling away at the skin she didn't like that part, then again she didn't knew many who did. A smile was on herself even though she felt tire and like she could use a nap. However she was going to stay there and have her fill. She didn't want to do that just to have to wander away and then feel tired again and possibly not be able to get something else to eat for a while. She had to stay awake and eat atleast most of her fill before she wandered off to curl up and sleep. She knew there was always a chance of a bigger lion coming up and taking her meal sos he wanted to get as much as she could.
She started biting into it, tearing the meat away and swallowing it. Foor always tasted better to her when she was eating it when she was feeling good. She didn't know why it just did. Even thought she was tired she was sure feeling better then she normally did. She was so into her meal at first she didn't notice anyone that was until she started feeling better, at that point she couldn't help but to lift her head for a moment and listen around to see if anyone was around her. And of course as she did she heard something.
She paused before looking up and sniffing the air trying to figure out where it was coming from. She looked around before noticing a small figure in the grasses and soon after that the scent of another filled her nose. She paused sitting up some before looking, the lion looked younger, seeing youth around here made her smile before she nodded a bit. "Feel free to come out and have some little one!" she called out before grinning a little wider, she sat back on her haunches and flicked around her tail trying to make the little lurker feel welcome. She didn't mind company and if the company was a little one she really didn't mind. She had a soft spot for cubs.

Moyo couldn't help but duck down a little in the grass when the lioness called out to him. At first he didn't really compute what she was saying but after he heard it was an invitation and not a threat he happily bounced on over toward her.
He eyed the kill for a moment before looking back up at the lioness, "You really dont mind?" The kill did look really tasty. Maybe he could take a bit back to Neph.... Moyo grinned as he thought. "Most of the time adults aren't so nice at sharing but if you really don't mind," Moyo craned his head down and took a small bite.
To his joy it was really good. The meat had just the right amount of fat to his tastes and the fresh sweet blood just added to the flavorful juices.

She grinned widely at him before nodding to the little one before shaking her head and nudging the food to him. "Don't worry about it little one. I don't mind some company at all!" She chuckled again before leaning down and taking a bite herself the nodding at him. "But don't worry I couldn't eat all of it myself anyway." She chuckled a little more before nodding toward him. "There are plenty of nice adults out there! You just have to find them." she smiled widely before leaning down and pulling a little more food off.
"So little one my name is Emm'ahlie, what's yours?" She asked curiously. She wanted to make this cub feel important make him fell grown up, she knew that cubs like it when you make them feel important. She flicked her tail around before looking at him a little curiously. "What are you doing out here by yourself little one?" She arched a very small brow before eating some more food and looking at him again.

Her efforts were not wasted on Moyo. The little cub looked up, maw covered in warm meat bits and blood, and smiled puffing his chest out proudly. The cub was glad for the attention.
"I'm trying to find ... a friend.. something pretty to show her how awesome I really am, " He smiled up at her and bent over taking a few more mouth fulls before looking up again.
"This is so good!" He still had a bit of meat in his maw. " Really ! Way to choose a good kill," He gave her and the kill a nod. "Besides hunting whats a pretty lioness like you doing out here by your self?"

Emm looked at the male, she was starting to become over joyed by the fact that she was making him smile. She flicked her hair out of her eyes before laying down so she was at his level, she had her fill and for once in a while she was completely full. It made her feel very good. She purred quietly before nodding at her. "Wow! Thats a reall nice idea!" Even though he wanted to show it was because he wanted to show how awesome she he was. However it was a really sweet idea for him.
"If you want I can help you find something." She giggled before nodding once more then smiling at him. "Well what can I say I've had a lot of practice." She flashed a large smile then nipped at him. "Well that's very sweet of you to say." She chuckled a bit then nodded toward him. "Just wandering around. It's pretty fun."

The bloody mawed cub couldnt help but be even more proud of him self when he was praised. His head must have grown to more sizes just listening to it all.
The juve pawed back at Emm as she nipped at him and chuckled crouching down in a pounce position, "So what's a lioness like you doing out here sides hunting?" He pounced her paw playfully wrapping his front arms around it and playfully nibbling.

Emm chuckled slightly at the cub before nodding toward him. "Just wandering around, spending my energy in a good way today." She was glad to see the the little cub wandering around a bit and spending his energy in a good way too. "Nothing really that big." She chuckled slightly before letting out a small yawn.
"So tell me little one, would you like for me to help you find something for your friend?" She chuckled slightly before nodding once more. Flicking her tail around as he watched as he looked like he was about to pounce on something. She knew one of the ultimate cub toys, anyone's tail. she knew that he would love to pounce on that, and on top of that she could keep him busy with that.

The boy nodded, "Sure if you want to help me bring something really nice back you can."
He took one last big bite before he had to call it quites. The meat was so tender and juicy and good but it was filling.
"What do girls like any how?"

Emm'ahlie looked at the little cub, she was happy that it seemed like he was full and most likely just as happy as she was. "Of course I can help you." He chuckled a bit before turning toward where she liked to hide some stuff.
"I have something you can give her." The older lioness laughed a bit before standing up and nodding toward her. "Come on." She chuckled slightly. "they like pretty things silly." She smiled before nudging him on his feet with one of her paws. "Come on follow me." There was a hallowed out tree not that far away where she liked to hide stuff

Moyo tilted his head, "Pretty things huh? I always thought they liked lizards and stuff." He bounced after the dark lioness with a smirk.
"You really have something she'll like?" His ears lifted and eyes lit up. "You have something Neph would like?"
Hed been at the search all day and hadnt found anything he thought she'd like but this lioness here had something that she'd like. It made his search so much simpler.

Emm'ahlie laughed slightly before shaking her head a bit. "Not reall." He chuckled slightly before nodding toward him. "Well some like them. But most of the time they like pretty things. Lizards taste funny after a while, they look a little funny some times too." She chuckled slightly remembering when she was younger and she used like lizards, but even she had a soft spot for little pretty things, she knew even the little ones even if they were tom boys liked pretty things.
"I think I would." He smiled at her before smiling softly as she approached the tree, sitting down and digging at the base, before reaching into the hole and pulling out a few strings wiiht necklaces on them. "Pull out the one that reminds you of her the most." She gave him a wide grin. Some of the necklaces had beads on them, some with more than one shell. They were all hand crafted, all she put her heart into.

Moyo eyed the necklaces that she offered to him for Neph.
"You really mean I can.. give one of these to Neph?" He'd never seen anything like them. They smelt like they came form some where far away. Moyo was more then amazed by their beauty.
"Okay," He said at last taking a blue and white one with shells. He flung it around his neck for safe carrying aback home.
"Thank you so much for everything," The boy chirped, "Well.. Im gonna go give this to Neph now and impress her. Wish me luck," With that he rubbed his head to Emms chest and ran off back toward his home.

"Of course you cankeep one and give it to her." She laughed slightly nodding her head before holding them out to the cub a little more. "Go ahead, they are easy to make." She grinned again before watching as the cub pulled it aorund his neck. "I hope you enjoy, I also hope she enjoys it." She laughed a bit before sitting down.
"It's no problem!" She chuckled once more, licking the cub's head before he started to trot off. "Good Luck Moyo! I really hope she likes it." The lioness sat back on her haunches as she watched him trot away. It was nap time for her. She was starting to feel tired.
