has anyone seen the ending of the whole series of yu-gi-oh? I thought it was VERY sad, I couldn't stop crying crying . I'm just wandering if any of you liked it. mrgreen

I have yet to see the ending of the anime (I just ordered the final episodes yesterday whee ) but I loved how it ended in the manga. So sad!

I saw the ending like two weeks after Japan released it; it was sad but I had questions.
Like what happened to Bakura and Ryou? I mean yeah Ryou probably went on with his life but why didn't he get a scene in the little snippets at the end?
IF Yami went to Heaven where did that leavbe Bakura?
Ah well, unanswered questions. It was a good ending.

I cried for a week after seeing that episode. And still tear up when thinking about it sometimes. It was actually a really happy ending, but in a sad way. If that makes any sense...
And to Dark Tenshi, Atemu theorhetically went on to the afterlife and not heaven, because well, that's what ancient Egyptians believed it. As far as Bakura, judging how he spent most of his life/spirit life, by the religions standards, he probably would have been eaten by am'mit. But, I think he just went on into the afterlife too...

Bakura does deserve to have some kind of pity in the afterlife. I mean, he did have his reasons for all out revenge. His spirit was twisted by Zork too, in a way, wasn't it? The human soul can only take so much hate. Maybe he was kind of reborn, in a way; undergoing a sort of cleasing of the soul. That may go against Egyptian theories of the afterlife, but...
I just don't like the idea of his spirit being gone forever. ;___:
What happened to Ryou is a very good question. He's always ignored gonk ! The guy deserves some credit after putting up with everything that he did!
As for the ending altogether... it was bittersweet T__T. It began to bother me even more after I made an AMV for it. Now, everytime I hear the song I used, I think about it and get teared up.

i havent seen the episodes but i read the shonen summary fer it, i still get sad and cry every time i read it and i won't be abl to stop. My friends always tell me not to read it, but i do anyway. i think that yami bakura didn't go to the same place as the pharoh, i also figured out that at the beginning of GX that wasn't yami yugi that was little yugi grown up. I still think that the ending was so sad, i'm glad you all replyed mrgreen , thanks a whole bunch mrgreen .

Well, in the manga Bakura went on with his life like the rest of the non-Egyption characters, so I assume it's the same with the anime. *shrugs*

No, I haven't seen it, but I already know how it's gonna end. I hate the ending! *cries* It's so sad! Everytime I see an actual screenshot from the ending, I cry. It makes me very sad. I know that I'm gonna cry when I finally do see the last episode, but.......omg.........if I watch it........wow. I'm gonna need a whole lot of serious therapy after I've seen the ending. sweatdrop

i soooo agree with you i can wait fer the episode to come out 'cuz my eyes are gonna be red fer along time. At least i have some time to wait fer the episode to come out. mrgreen

it was alright for an ending thats all i can say. i didn't cry becuase i knew some reason ryou would of continue his life without the presence of his yami.
remember when zork gets eliminated and destroyed so does Yami no Bakura. he is part of Zork soul so eventually he got destoryed like yami no marik.
yeah i knew the boy who saw judai was yugi himself all grown. hmmm im just waiting for the part where you see some shots scenes of seto kaiba in yugioh gx. so far im rooting for the new guy who wants to duel judai becuase kaiser left him alone hehe.
im more excitent about yugioh R actually i am in a good part of it. i for one wanted anzu to be elimanated but yeah..that won't hapen in this small series.

i know how you feel, i would love to read the comic instead of the stupid summaries that they put to describe whats happening.My friend likes to diss YGO, its unfair how ppl diss YGO, its a really good show and i hate my friend for dissing YGO.
