Out of her room she went. Serandite jumped down onto the empty street, traveling a few blocks from crystal academy. She didn't want to be gone for too long in case her roommate noticed her absence.
"Let's see here.. starseed, starseed come on out~" She hummed to herself, kicking a rock as she walked along the sidewalk. There had to be other girls out at this time of night.. After all, Crystal Academy wasn't full of the most obedient girls. In fact, some stories of their deeds might be enough to actually scare off a negaverse soldier.
She needed at least one starseed tonight. Personal goal of course. If anybody walked up to her tonight, calling her little girl, Serandite would laugh.. and then swiftly steal their starseeds. Yep. Don't be calling a high schooler a little girl.

Fortunately for Sailor Flora, her roommate was also her patrol partner, and she didn't have to sneak out; not like how Pegasus used to while she was asleep. "How many times have you done this, anyway?" She asked with a quirk of an eyebrow, walking besides Pegasus. "I honestly never really noticed; I'm a pretty good sleeper. Mom used to be surprised every time I was able to sleep through a heavy storm."
Really, one advantage to this whole senshi thing was the adorable outfits, from the pretty flowers in her hair, to the gloves, the brooch and the shoes. It all matched so wonderfully and Rea's outfit was pretty as well.
However... "Don't you get any problems staying awake in class?"

Having Evey turn out to be a Senshi too had helped considerably in many ways. One, she hadn't actually had to sneak out anymore. That was always a problem, no matter how many years she had been at crystal -- sneaking out with a roommate sleeping so close by was always a challenge, one you avoided if you could. And two, her cheerful roommate's company made the entire process much more enjoyable. Usually a rather anti-social (and some would add a string of nasty words to the end) person, she was quickly finding that her blonde roommate had a knack for making her feel comfortable. Usually, she was awkward and perhaps a little cold towards other senshi, but with Flora around, it just... worked.
Adjusting the pristine white gloves of her uniform, she paused for a moment under a streetlight, giving them a little break from the endless walking. "A while," She replied to Flora's question in a non-committal tone, blue-green eyes scanning the darkness for any sign of a disturbance. The night had been particularly calm -- a good thing for girls who wanted to go to bed early, "You get use to taking naps when you can, and you learn to drink a lot of coffee. After a while, you adjust, too. We're a lot more resilient than normal people." Pausing a moment, she gave her roommate a small, private smile.
"It also helps when you get to know a few who can help you out."

Two girls were walking along the road. Serandite didn't bother to hide her presence as she approached them. Just her luck, they were two gorgeous girls. On a closer look.. were they senshis? She leaped up on a tree branch, intending to head in their direction.
Awesome. Two senshis. This might be a little hard. Their words floated in her hearing as she neared their location. Aw. Two best friend senshis? How sweet. Serandite almost wished she had a negaverse partner as well. But having a partner.. Well, that would be a difficult task.
"It also helps to have some senshi pass by unsuspectingly leaving a lucky negaverse to score some starseeds. " She stated, apparently overhearing the end of their conversation as she leaped down in front of them.
She didn't seem to immediately start a battle however on closer inspection of them. She stared at them for a moment as if pausing before starting. In fact-- she sighed with disappointment. The next words were probably surprising. "..Honestly, your senshi outfits are so cute. Minus the completely unrevealing part of it, you guys have to tell me where you get your hair done." She insisted, eyes scanning the two senshi that stood in front of her.

Flora sighed in an all too dramatic fashion, flipping her blond curls with a hand. "Coffee. I've never really tried it before, honestly. I guess it's time to start." She grimaced. She had never been too fond of the beverage, and preferred ordering hot chocolates over lattes in cafes. And what was with the smell, really? Perhaps she would have to hold her nose while gulping it down. She was about to open her mouth and ask about other senshis Pegasus presumably knew; how many were there out there, exactly?
"Negaverse?" She repeated in confusion. Sailor Flora had never met any of the Negaverse, and had only heard of them from what Astraea had said, and had no inkling whatsoever what these members of the 'dark side' looked like.
"Whaaat?" She stared at the other. "I mean, your hair is adorable! I love the color; it fades so beautifully, is it natural? It can't possibly be natural, can it?" It was so sunsetty and pretty, and although Flora didn't exactly desire to dye her hair, it was actually a really good dye job that made her think twice. "And I have never seen such a pretty kimono in stores before!" Now, they were two girls babbling over fashion, and she almost disregarded the fact that she was in senshi guise.

The sight of the girl dropping from the tree made the strawberry blonde senshi jump, visibly startled and looking about ready to throw a random hasty attack in her direction, her eyes the size of saucers. Had she been any more of a vocal person, she would have started cursing, not only to calm her nerves, but to scold herself. Jumpy much? Not that she didn't have reason to be, but the fact that she so blatantly let this Lieutenant (and she was pretty sure she was a lieutenant... wasn't she?) sneak up on them, and the fact that she had responded so poorly made her feel quite a bit annoyed.
It was only upon second thought that she realized what the girl had said, once again caught off guard, although this time only minorly so. Outfits? Did she comment on their outfits? By Flora's comment, Pegasus was starting to get the gist of this entire conversation, and the fact that this was not going to be a normal battle. Her eyes flickered between the two, clearly looking a little less than amused, eyebrows raised in a silent question.
Really? REALLY?
"Yes, Lieutenant I presume," She responded a little dully to Flora's question, eying the girl again, her eyes falling on the conspicuous pink bunny in her arms.

"It's quite natural I assure you." Serandite patted her hair, looking at Flora and Pegasus's hair. "Of course you won't see this kimono anywhere. I made it specially for fighting." She lifted a kimono sleeve to show off some of the flower design. "Your outfit's gorgeous. Do you just get your outfits when you transform or do you guys make it?" Serandite asked, asking one of the wonders that had appeared ever since she became a negaverse.
She heard the other speak, glancing at her appearance as well before answering her. "Yep. Lieutenant Serandite. What about you guys?" She asked, admiring the other's neatly cut hairstyle. She didn't wait in one spot for an answer, walking around Pegasus, staring at her skirt and her ribbon. Shoot, her ribbon was gorgeous as well.
"Yep. I'm on the negaverse side. But you can't really blame me for being a girl, can you? Although.. i guess I should be doing what I came to do." She sighed, the obvious move next was to fight. But.. she seemed reluctant to fight? What?
"Damn. And I thought us negaverse girls could beat you hands down senshi in looks. Guess I was wrong." She sighed in disappointment, hand scratching her head. "Before we get into a battle, you guys have to tell me.. on a scale of beauty.. Do you think negaverse would win or you guys? Cause honestly, I still think we'll still win." She pointed out, thinking that these two senshis were making it a damn close call.

"That's so lucky!" Flora said, with a touch of envy in her voice. Really, what was it with hair colors being so pretty and uncommon yet surprisingly natural? The shade of Nerissa's hair had caused her to put it on that list as well, though she hadn't gotten the chance to ask. Of course, it wasn't as though she didn't like her hair, oh no, she liked her blond curls. "You make outfits? That's so cool; I could never sit down and just sew and sew and sew, I'd be bored out of my skin in a matter of minutes!" She laughed, crossing her arms.
"The outfits come with the whole transforming...wait." She turned to give Pegasus an incredulous stare. "Are you telling me...you're telling me she's one of the bad guys? You're kidding, right?" She got the whole youma thing, but honestly? The Negaverse recruited young girls to fight against them? What kind of crazy world were they living in?
"I... ...don't know. I think we look pretty gorgeous though." She threw Pegasus another questioning look, which said 'Do we need to fight her?' and 'I really haven't met anyone from the Negaverse, and only a few senshi, so I haven't a clue to answer that question. Your turn, spin the wheel!'

Pegasus' eyes followed the pink-haired girl as she walked a circle around her, cautious. She had had enough of the Negaverse's tricks to know that they had no problems fighting dirty. Why should she think this one was any different? Nevermind that her weapon seemed to be a stuffed bunny. She wasn't exactly sure how threatening this girl was, even if that wasn't her weapon -- it was hard to take a girl who carried a stuffed animal around seriously.
There was a disappointed sigh, and the strawberry blonde girl gave her partner a curious look, nodding at the first silent question before pausing, tilting her head to one side, thinking. She hadn't really considered the attractiveness of their teams. It usually wasn't something she thought about when she was getting pummeled. Sailor Lyra and Nemesis were pretty although not her type, of course Flora was a knock out, (she already thought she should have a ton of boys pounding at their door,) Nerissa... Hematite...
"Well..."
Wait, why was she answering that?
Folding her arms across her chest, Pegasus quirked an eyebrow at Serandite, giving her a suspicious look. "What do you want, Lieutenant? Not only to talk fashion, I'm sure."

"I'm a negaverse. One of your enemies. Yep!" Serandite answered cheerfully, giggling in amusement at the blond senshi's reaction. The brown haired senshi was quite amusing as well.. and perhaps a bit smarter in awareness as she questioned Serandite's motives. Smart girl. Although Serandite could have stood here asking them questions all night.. Well, she wasn't here to do that. She was here for a battle.
"I guess negaverse would win then..Lucky us." Serandite commented, as though the competition had been very important. It wasn't. Not in reality anyways.
Serandite didn't hesitate in answering the question. "I'm just here to steal your starseeds. Since I've introduced myself so nicely, why don't you introduce yourselves before we start? It won't do not to know the names of my opponents right?" Ordinarily Serandite wouldnt care crap about their names. But on the slight chance she might be beaten, she would need to know who defeated her. As if that could happen.
And these two two girls. It was quite unfortunate they were on opposite sides. Otherwise, Serandite might have been.. friends?

Sailor Flora followed Pegasus, moving rather hesitantly, her eyes fixated on the Negaverse Lieutenant, supposedly one of their enemies. She really didn't look as though...but looks could be deceiving, she reminded herself. She did however, take offense with the other's remark that the Negaverse would win in terms of beauty; hey, the few senshi she had met were really pretty, and the intricate fukus they donned didn't hurt their appearance either. It wasn't as if this battle was based on beauty. Even if it was, Pegasus and Flora would certainly kick this one's a**. Pity about Serandite's hair and the kimono though.
She was about to echo 'Starseeds?' but decided not to make herself look more of an ignorant t**t than she already had; she would grill Pegasus about it later. What were these starseeds that they presumably had though? Was it their brooches? It seemed to be a source of their power. Or was it just a fancy name for the henshin pen?
She glanced over at Pegasus, not speaking. Should they really tell this supposed enemy their names before making her sneeze like hell?

The strawberry blonde girl shifted herself so she was just slightly between Flora and the Nega-baddie, picking up on her roommate's hesitation and moving to reassure her. It was two against one -- it was unlikely a lieutenant could take down them both. Besides, they made a good team. Pegasus stayed confident. "Courtesy is not exactly my forte," She replied with an even tone, hiding the mild irritation she was beginning to feel for the spunky, overly-wordy Lieutenant Serandite. She had only had one other Lieutenant ask for her name, and that had not ended prettily. In fact, she had barely escaped with her life during that escapade.
"Sailor Pegasus. This is Sailor Flora, my partner."
She left out the real 'threatening' part to her challenge, tempting as it was to say it. As it stood, Lieutenant Bunnygirl hadn't actually attacked them as of yet, or shown that she was much of a threat, especially not with her 'beauty contest' talk. As much as the kimono'd girl spouted about the Negaverse, Pegasus couldn't find anything remarkably wrong with their introduction. So she stood still, arms still folded across her chest in a defensive yet relaxed manner, still waiting for an action to back up her supposed motive. Her only real movement was meaningful look towards Flora; she would explain about starseeds when they weren't potentially in danger. As for the introduction, that was up to her -- Astraea had never mentioned in her abridged 'Guide to being a Senshi' whether or not it was taboo to introduce yourself.
Your move, Lieutenant.

Her bunny could count as her partner. Probably. Perhaps. Considering Serandite herself couldn't fight, Serandite might not have counted as a fighter then.
"Pegasus. Flora. That's nice names." She said, smiling at the scouts. Obviously, one was a new senshi. Judging from her lack of action and the air of hesitation she gave off.. and the fact Pegasus subtly seemed to protect her.. Well, there was no more hints needed. Those were blatantly obvious signals already. She glanced at Flora, predicting she might be the easier prey of the two.
She hopped back a small distance away, as if getting.. ready for something? She took a deep breath, letting out a small little sigh, eyes suddenly meeting Pegasus's eyes as if getting into character. Ready.. Set.. Go!
"Grow-- Grow-- GROW!"
Her bunny .. one could almost label it, it 'popped' giant immediately. A menacing shadow hovered over the two senshi, the large bunny stared down with emotionless eyes. Wait. It didnt have eyes. More like giant 'X's.' Serandite's arm lifted, the bunny's arm mimicked her manner, swiping at the two senshi.

If Flora had knew what the Lieutenant was thinking, she would have simply stared blankly in the other's direction, wondering if she should laugh. Nothing, nothing seemed to be more scary than her first encounter with a youma, and even the growing plush bunny seemed to pale in comparison to the thrashing octopus creature and the police sirens. She had come to consider it a pretty informative way to start this job of hers, for it put her on guard more often than not. Flora had learned to be much more wary, though she was rather apprehensive at the Negaverse making kids fight for them. And one who was pretty and donned a nice outfit...alright, no.
She focused her attention on the bunny instead, and leaped backwards, hoping Pegasus followed suit. Being a dancer really helped the whole senshi thing. "I don't think that thing breathes." She said meditatively. "Think your attack could make a hole in it?"

She would have liked to have said she wasn't surprised when the bunny suddenly started to grow and move on its own. When that sort of thing happens, however, no one in their right mind wouldn't have been surprised, so Pegasus didn't feel so bad giving the thing a mildly horrified look, taking a few steps back as it 'stared' down at them. "I doubt it could destroy the thing, but it'll sure as hell slow it down," She replied to Flora's question, leaping back to avoid one of the plushie's oversized appendages, watching as it slammed into a nearby tree, practically pulverizing it.
Damn. That was actually kind of scary.
The bunny loomed closer, looking dangerous despite it's pink, slightly fuzzy exterior, those x'd out eyes rather forboding. For a non-threatening weapon, she was starting to think that this bunny could do a lot of damage. She took back all the things she had thought before, about the conversation, about the bunny, about Serandite -- this was serious. She meant business, and she seemed intent on getting their starseeds.
"I think the trick here might be to incapacitate the Lieutenant. This thing isn't alive -- it'll keep coming back for more unless we chase away the puppeteer. I might be able to distract it, while you go for Ms Kimono. I'm sure she'll just evade my attack... yours can definitely incapacitate her. I'll take care of Mr Bunny."
Offering a small, private smile to the other senshi, the teal-skirted senshi gave her roommate a look of complete confidence before she dashed forward, moving in semi-circle around the deadly child-like weapon, trying to find a vantage point to do her attack. She had no doubt Flora could do it.
