Appearance Fern looks to be Asian, and has a very small, thin frame. She's always flitting about here and there, and can even become very small for flying. Those wings aren't just for looking pretty. They're crafted like dragonfly wings and can move her around just as fast.

Weight 100 lbs on the dot while big.
Hair Fern has some layers going on, but nothing truly fancy.
Eyes Big, big brown luminous eyes.
Oddities Fern always has wings, and if she could get away with it, would wear hardly any clothing. But, having to be in polite company, Fern wears her fae clothing which at some times can seem like it's been put together in bits and colorful pieces.
She also speaks with something of an irish lilt.

Abilities Fern's learning the arts of healing. It's more of apothecary studies with natural ingredients.
History Fern was born in a bustling fae community in an area close to Riverway Valley's towns. There she grew up as a sparkling character, who danced and sang her way into the hearts of many people (though that describes most of her community; they were a charismatic lot). Her family was rather well-to-do because of her mother's medicines and her father's work with engineering for her people. Fern gravitated towards apothecary skills, and so she is going to school for it.
While her life was filled with gaiety, there was great tragedy as well. She once had an older brother, Bracken, and he was quite handsome. But a change began to take him, and soon her beloved brother was not the man she had seen as her guardian. Bracken became dark and disillusioned by some unknown cause, and one day, he was found dead.
Her parents told her that it had been a dark thing that had swept her brother away from them, and no more was ever said. Fern is still in mourning over her brother's loss, as she loved him dearly. Grove is not only a place for her learning, but a place for her escape as she learns to deal with this sorrow.
Personality Fern is... energetic, to say the least. Every emotion is very strong and animated, and when she does calm down, you know it's for a very good reason. Fern's rather mischievous and will play some tricks on people, but it's never mean-spirited. Flighty, kind, and very very hyper.
Talents Fern can dance with such grace that she almost made a profession out of it. Singing also comes naturally, since the fae are very spirited people. She also has a talent for being able to hide almost anywhere, even in plain sight.
Weaknesses Fern can have pretty poor judgement of situations simply because she doesn't take the time to think before acting or speaking. She can be forgetful of other people's opinions and desires, and misjudge the importance of something simply because she doesn't look deep enough into it. On the contrary, when she finds something important, she fails to see sometimes why others wouldn't see it in the same way. She can also have a bit of a temper.
