Appearance Anna is very gentle, with a constant glow about her. She dresses in long skirts mostly, when the weather is nice, but always has a very professional look about her when on the job. Her outfits can be described as equestrian prep or sometimes even boho, but everything has a definitive elven craftsmanship and beauty to it.

Hair A bit of a light brown, with no amazing style. Just natural, and straight with a gentle wave towards the ends.
Eyes Brown. Anna doesn't have the bright blues and greens as most elves do, but they shine with their own light just the same.
Oddities As an elf, Anna is beautiful of course. There's nothing outstanding about her appearance save for that.

Abilities Anna is an extraordinary healer. Even in Grove, where she is a bit disconnected from the energies most healers draw in to perform their art, Anna has the natural ability to have that power stored within her as a constant energy source. It's unique, and actually keeps her looking a bit younger than she actually is.
She also has a mind link with Pyralis Flameweaver, which enables just them to exchange thoughts, feelings and images at will.
History Annabelle comes from a quiet, gorgeous rural community in the Other Realms called Riverway Valley. There, as an only child, her grandparents and parents alike trained her to be a well-rounded individual. Or at least tried. While they succeeded in making her a lovely singer, they failed to make her apply herself in dance simply because they couldn't pin her down (literally; Anna ran away from every dance lesson planned). She is quite skilled in art, but what truly stole her heart was the love of books and knowledge. Anna became an apprentice of sorts under her father in archaeology and all things ancient. Together they set out to solve the mysteries of their world, getting into much trouble along the way, and having fun doing it.
But on one occasion, things went terribly awry. A guide, who had been hired to bring them to a location within a mountain range betrayed them, giving the entire convoy of scholars over to a mercenary group. Battles and unrest had spread amongst peoples of the area, and so, in need of soldiers, they began to take prisoners. Separated from her father and forced to fight, Anna had her first experience in war.
During the heat of battle, Anna was pierced with a poisonous arrow. It acted quickly. Her father, led by pure instinct to his dying daughter, begged for her to search within herself for the power to heal. All who knew her always had an inkling that there was something greater sleeping deep within the charismatic young woman, and they were right. Just before the poison could claim her, Anna tapped into the healing arts that had laid dormant, and saved herself in a great show of light. The father and daughter managed to escape from the terrible battle, along with some of their convoy, but the event forever damaged the bonds the group had taken so long to establish.
And so, Anna began to take it upon herself to perfect her healing art. Along the way, there was a rather toxic relationship with another young scholar named Adrian who enjoyed demeaning Anna in verbal abuse. But, having the heart she does, Anna believed that he would be kind to her when she cured some fault of her own. It wasn't until her grandfather intervened that Anna was freed from the abusive relationship, and sent elsewhere to live her life as she pleased.
After some time passed, Anna met Pyralis Flameweaver. It was the most life-changing event to have met him, for not long after they discovered how connected their hearts were. Love blossomed, and now Anna is engaged to the fiery-hearted dragon. Her love and trust in him only grows with each passing day, and together they make a fine team as true soul mates. Only a dragon, after all, could possibly keep up with her spirit.
Personality Anna is very kind and more often than not selfless. She will do anything to help her students and faculty provided they show her just as much respect. Her books seem to ignite an almost childish enthusiasm within her, and so sometimes she may seem a bit naive. Far from it, though, Anna is quite knowledgeable, and believes that no knowledge must ever be wasted. She can be effervescent in one moment and calm the next. Even her agitation is rather gentle, nearly comical.
Talents Anna is a very fine singer, and can clean a room in a heartbeat. Her memory is fantastic. Art is also a skill, though she's not too serious about it. She can handle a blade very well, and a bow, and has proven herself on several occasions to be very capable of defending herself from harm.
Weaknesses Anna has a bad habit of holding guilt within herself, even when nothing is her fault. She holds herself up to incredible standards that can't always be realistic, and punishes herself when she doesn't fulfill them. Especially in a world of humans, she feels as if she must live up to their dream-like expectations or be a disappointment to all who behold her. She once described herself as a "dream walking amongst humans," not in a selfish way, but it does fascinate her to be the very embodiment of something some people hold to be purely fictional.
She also refuses to think the worst of people, which gets her into the position to be used and abused (Adrian).
