Okay so far we have three riders...
Galbotrix
Murtagh
Eragon

The question is who will be next? I think it will probably be Arya because Poalini put her in the last book allot and authors usually don't do that if the character is not important. But on the other hand maybe that’s because Arya will become the next Elven queen when the old one dies (or should I say murdered?). There is that possibility but having Arya as a rider would be really predictable and hopefully Poalini has learned to put "predictable" things in his books. Another possibility is Roran he might become the next rider because he was also mentioned allot. Or of course he could become some varden leader. But I think the most interesting thing that could happen is that a new character could step in it would be awkward but interesting all the same. Please share your theories discuss these here.

Don't worry about it Minasia, not every one is perfect. Frankly, I don't particularly see the point in this thread (I deleted the other too). Theories are theories and can't be rounded down to one topic because there would be so little to talk about and it would be another thread that goes way off topic. If we had sub forum I would ask for a Theories sub-forum so inividual threads like this can exist. However, I don't have control over that, Bluefuzzy does so I can't do much.

No, she's already too important. It'll be someone else mentioned but not so important. It can't be Roran, Arya, nasuada..I doubt it'd be Angela but who knows? It could be. *shrug*

There has never been and will never be a dwarf rider. They didn't take part in the treaty thing that the elves made with the dragons.

I agree with you. I still don't think it will be Arya. For one she already has a role in the book and it dosen't seem C.P to make her the rider, its like he cant think of anything else.



True, but it just adds more to her character. There is already an elf dragon rider, though that makes no difference at all.

But its not going ot be a drawf as there never has been, but then again it might be the last thing we think will happen.


I really dont think Arya will be a Dragon Rider for some reason. It might be a new character we meet in the last book for all we know or the egg might not hatch at all in the last book.
