Halvartin Part II: Rebellion
There once was a town called Halvartin. It is built in two distinct parts: the Upper City, which is built on platform rises that reach up to the normal ground level above the desolate pit of the lower city. Once, a single train that spiraled up the pit's walls connected the two. But that has long since past. Twenty-seven years before, the gangs in the Lower City united to invade the Upper City, which had oppressed thier people so long. While the people of the Upper City lived in luxury, the Lower City's people lived in poverty and desolation. Half the population of Lower Halvartin were slaves to the Upper City's elite. But the rich soon crushed the rebelion, and cut off the subwayline, planning on leaving it like that forever. The people of the lower city calmed down. But without the sparse food delivered from the level above, the lower city fell into desolation. However, the upper city doesn't think it's a good idea to leave the lower city unchecked. Now, they're reconnecting the bridge, to see who survived. Will the two halves go back into war? Will the upper city destroy the lower city? All will soon be revealed.
The Upper City:
The only problems that the upper city faced were a small shortage of servants. With all of the lower city people (criminals in the prisons included) expelled into the lower city, there were no slaves left. This is one of the reasons that the upper city is sending people down. Also, the upper city is getting increasingly parinoid about what's going on bellow them.
The Lower City:
The lower city was left in even worse condition than before by the rebelion. Though the criminals released from the prisons by the gangs helped at first, they soon formed thier own rival gangs. The guards fought for the lower city, as they were born there, and so they were spared. The lower city dropped bombs on the lower city as well, and so many buildings are in disrepair. There is no one in control, just thugs roaming the cracked and broken streets.
