Location: Farstep carnival - Lee and Rory's cottage.

Weather: Cold? Halloween kinda of weather, I imagine...

This had certainly been the most interesting Halloween Lee had had in her short life. Probably the most enjoyable, too. It had even beat trick-or-treating in tiny princess gowns as a child. Lee held Rory's arm, very much enjoying his current ceremonial outfit, and happy to be heading home. It was his birthday, so the celebration wasn't anywhere near being over, despite their leaving Sienna's party and finishing the ceremony tonight.
It was late. Much later than Lee had intended on staying up. But she had gifts to give and fun times to have with the boy she loved very much. Besides, how could she sleep when Rory was dressed like this? "How do you normally celebrate your birthday, anyway?" she wondered aloud, a hop in her step as they made their way back to their cottage.

"Normally celebrate it just like you saw," Rory said, adjusting the headdress a bit so the antlers were more straight. He'd been near the bonfire so much during the ceremonies with the rest of the Samhain-born clan members that the chill of the night air didn't even bother him despite being bare-chested and only clad in soft leather pants with dabs of what looked a bit like blue warpaint across his bare chest, back, and arms. He couldn't have looked more wild if he'd tried.
Sienna's party had been a bit boring for him, though he had enjoyed seeing the costumes (the girls' more like lingerie with animal ears and tails) and did like wearing matching costumes with Lee. He couldn't help admitting he'd liked seeing her wearing lingerie and sheep features while he'd dressed the part of the wolf. Getting asked where he'd found the colored contacts had gotten old, but less so than the reactions of people when he told them his eyes were naturally white. Idly, he wondered what Sienna and her crowd would think of the Farstep festivities still roaring behind him and Lee as they walked home.
He looked down at her. "What did you think o' all tha' anyway? Not your usual party on this night, eh?"

Lee frowned, looking up at Rory with a very displeased look. "But that's for a bunch of people. You dun celebrate just for yourself?" She supposed, up until now, he'd really only have his family to join him in celebration anyway, and decided it was a dumb question to ask, not giving Rory time to answer. "Well it's okay, because we're gonna celebrate your birthday tonight anyway." Her smile was back, the girl clinging to the boy's side as she felt the wind curl around them. Wasn't Rory freezing, all half-naked like that?
At his question, Lee shook her head, giggling a bit. "Not at all. But it's a good kind of different, I guess. It was exciting." And she'd been referring to the party from before, as well. She'd never gone to a party like that before, simply because she'd never been allowed. Dressing up like she had was never deemed appropriate by her parents, and for good reason. She was more easily impressed than Rory, it seemed, but it likely had to do with the level of excitement they'd both grown up with. Just about anything different was good in her mind.

"Me family an' me always did a dinner fae me before th' Samhain celebrations," Rory said, "an' they gave me presents when w' could afford it." He put an arm around Lee, trying to warm her up. He grinned at her. "An' how d'you propose w' gae t' celebratin'?"

Ah, well, she was a bit relieved to hear Rory got some special treatment on past birthdays. Kissing the boy's bare and somewhat sweaty neck as they walked, she grinned back. "However you want." That was the beauty of birthdays, after all.

"You could put on your costume on from Sienna's party, minus the sheep parts, o' course," Rory purred, looking at Lee with half-lidded eyes. As the got to their cottage, he trotted on ahead to get the door for her.

"Is that all?" Lee laughed a bit, walking with him inside, happy to be in the warmth of the indoors again. "And what'll I do, just walk around in a costume for you? You're pretty easy to please, aren't you?" She already had a few birthday presents in mind that she thought he'd find pleasing. A small pile of said presents were arranged on the kitchen table, neatly placed, clear that Lauss had been the one to set the display up. These were just minor gifts -- the best, most enjoyable would come later on. She wouldn't have been surprised or upset if he completely overlooked them and dragged her to bed as soon as they got inside.

Rory headed to the kitchen to make some coffee, wanting to warm up a bit after being half naked in the cold for so long. He stopped and tilted his head at the presents piled up on the table. "Is it Yuletide?"

"Eh? No... it's your birthday." Lee blinked, not understanding what was so odd about presents during such an occasion. "It's not anything amazing or expensive or whatever. But I figured I should get you something." She laughed nervously, not sure he'd enjoy any of them. Now she was wishing she hadn't bothered to get him anything, sure it would only be a burden on him to pretend to appreciate the gesture.

Rory chuckled a bit, smiling at her, before going to put a pot of coffee on. Once he got it started, he sat down at the table, pawing the presents closer. Picking one up at random, he tore open the paper, then grinned at the candy. "Lee, you didnae hae t' do this. These prolly cost more than th' dinner from th' other night." He got the box open and tried one, eyes half closing in bliss. "They're very good, though." Nibbling at the rest of the piece of mint chocolate, he got the other presents open, grinning even more at the painting. "I love this. I'll hae t' get a frame made fae it so w' can hang it in th' den." Picking up the last present, he tore it open, then looked up at her, arching a brow as he held up some tiny lacy panties. "Thanks, Lee, but I ain't really sure they're me size."

It was a roller coaster of emotions, watching him open the presents and seeing his reaction to them. Lee grinned as he enjoyed the chocolates, frowned as he mentioned hanging her painting, and blushed at his comment about the panties. "Eh, those are... I'd wear them for you. That's a present, right?" She sunk a bit, hoping he didn't laugh at her.

"It is if you go put 'em on reet now," Rory said, holding them and the matching bra out to her. "An' any other sexy thing you got planned fae tonight." He settled back in his chair, tilting his head a bit. The outfit he was wearing didn't help any to keep him from looking like some wild creature that had managed to find its way into their kitchen.

Lee smirked, snatching the lacy offering and leaning over to kiss Rory before hopping off to the bedroom, not realizing that hopping was likely the least sexy move possible at the moment. This wasn't the most surprising way to go about this, but lingerie was lingerie, wasn't it? Holding herself up in the bedroom for a short while, hoping to build some kind of anticipation in Rory, she adjusted everything, making sure she looked perfect before pulling the door open and revealing the black, lacy undies and bra that left absolutely nothing to the imagination. And somehow, she wasn't the least embarrassed this time around. Leaning in the doorway and giving Rory a playful grin, she wanted to believe that she wasn't self conscious because she'd grown used to wearing things like this, though it was likely due to her mind being busy with other things right now. Lauss was over at the Grady cottage tonight, right? She very much hoped that was the case...

Rory had been fixing coffee, happening to glance up at the door as Lee came in. He did a double-take at the sight of her, dropping the mug he'd been holding. Luckily it was tin and merely clattered across the floor rather than smashed into pieces, not that the boy noticed at all. He put his hand down on the counter to steady himself, breath coming a little faster.
