Louisa was glad for the weekend, though she wasn't all too glad that it was Halloween. Luckily she wouldn't have to worry about dressing up till later, it never took her long anyway. That's only if she decided to actually go to the party she had been invited to. For now she was in her cafe, of course it wasn't her cafe she didn't own it but when she wasn't out taking photos she seemed to find herself in this cafe.
Today she had some good ice cream, it was a mixture of a couple of different flavours, she also had a coffee and in front of her was her notebook which she was doodling in. She should have been writing some ideas for her school project but she really couldn't be bothered. School wasn't really her cup of tea as it were, in fact she rather liked not going to school, if only she had the guts to actually skip school.
She let out a rather loud sigh and continued doodling. She really should think of her school project, maybe she could make photography part of it.... and so she doodled a camera.

Going out hadn't exactly been Yuki's idea of fun, but there hadn't been much choice. That is to say, there had, but the choices were limited between staying in her dorm while the other girls made a mess trying on their costumes and generally been exuberant, pre-party teenagers, finding a quiet place to relax or going out on senshi duty. Again. By herself. On Halloween when everyone was out and about and likely to throw things at her because of that idiot Sailor Nea.
So really, no choice at all.
Finding a quiet place was proving a bit of a difficulty at this point, though, so the quiet girl decisively chose the next cafe or restaurant to show itself on this street as her destination - a smart move, it'd turn out, 'cause the cafe in question was a cozy, cheery place with what turned out to be a large selection of icecream and goodies. Getting a piece of chocolate cake with vanilla icecream on the side, Yuki wandered over to the nearest table that seemed to be relatively uninhabited and put on (what she considered to be) her nicest smile. It might have been slightly stiff. "Hey.. Would you mind terribly if I sat here for a while? I'll be quiet, of course."
Hopefully she'd outlast the other girl and get to spend the rest of her evening somewhere without shrieking teenagers.

Louisa looked up from her notebook to see the girl looking at her, she smiled instantly as was her reaction whenever she met anyone. She had to try and be nice, she always had to be. She didn't like not being liked.
"Heya! Erm... sure, go ahead." She smiled and looked the girl over. Louisa didn't recognize her, so she wasn't in her year, at least if she was she wasn't at her school. Louisa knew most of them by sight.
"Escaping the Halloween craziness?" She spoke softly as she always did, her smile stuck to her face in the friendliest manner she could muster. She liked to be nice, or to at least seem as friendly as she could.
"I am Louisa, by the way." Introductions were never a bad thing.

Oh God, the girl wanted to talk. Well, at least she'd been allowed to share her - Louisa's - table; figures that there had be a flaw to this.
"Thanks, and indeed, so I am. I am afraid that the girls at my dorm were.. somewhat loud. Peace was not an option. I'm Yuki." She kept on the smile, but her speech was caught somewhere between wannabe-cool and being stilted by her etiquette lessons. "You as well? Or are you perhaps an artist, observing?" She gave a nod towards the open notebook displaying Louisa's scribbles.

"It's nice to meet you Yuki!" Louisa smiled enthusiastically as if it really was a delight to meet her. She listened to what she said and nodded her head in the relevant places and then laughed.
"Oh no, I am no artist. I came here to get away from home, I like to get away but everyone is so... well thrilled about Halloween and I should be working out something for a project at school but I guess I got distracted." She smiled a little more sheepishly, she really should be working on her project. It was a geography project and to be fair an easy one, it just involved thinking and there were always more interesting things to think about other then well geography!
"Are you not in to Halloween then?" She was curious, Louisa hadn't expected many to not be really in to it and dressing up and things.

"Ah, I see." Yuki nodded, somewhat thoughtfully. If the other girl was working on a project (or should be, in any case) she probably wasn't likely to talk her ear off the whole night. Score one for team Hisakawa!
"Not particularly, I'm afraid." All the smiling was beginning to look odd, so she toned it down to a more natural expression. "It is an activity my parents have always found.. somewhat undignified, shall we say? They certainly wouldn't approve of my partaking." Which wasn't an outright lie, but if it hadn't been for her recent increase in workload, Yuki would've probably braved their rage and gone out with her roommates if only to get some half-decent drinks.
"What project are you working on, if I may ask?" She tactfully skipped over the question of which school Louisa went to, seeing as how she obviously wasn't a Crystal girl and that left only Meadowview (discounting, of course, the always present possibility that the brunette was a well-disguised transsexual or juvenile hooligan playing some sort of odd Hallowenn prank. Yuki decidedly doubted it).

Louisa listened and nodded as the other girl spoke. Her parents didn't approve? Fair enough. Louisa was sure her parents would be eager for her to go out but she was 16 and getting a bit old for all that dressing up thing.
"Oh it's a geography project on forests density and mountain and what makes them good living areas, or not." At least it was something like that, her idea's so far involved going up to the forest area where she went most weekend and taking photos of what could help you live there and what could restrict living. However the nearest mountains... well the weren't all that near.
"It's pretty boring." It was, there was no doubt about that after all she was eating ice cream and doodling!

"It does sound dreadfully boring, I must say." She gave a small, charming laugh to back up her statement. "So why not procastinate? I am certain that is what most of your peers have chosen to do on this night - Halloween is made for parties, after all."

Louisa laughed. "Yes it does really doesn't it?" She was sure there was no point in trying to do this work. It was just silly instead she continued to eat her ice cream, it was something that was interesting and tasted amazing. Oh ice cream was good!
"Halloween... the day where everyone can be as weird as they want." She smiled at the thought though never could understand why everyone would want to dress up and look well disgusting. She could understand the fun in dressing up just not as something like a zombie, they just looked disgusting.

Oh thank goodness, the other girl might actually vacate this table sometime if she weren't going to work on her project.
"Well, within reason, I'm certain some would say. And of course there are those who need no occasion at all to be weird, no?" Despite her goth-loli tendencies, Yuki wasn't particularly keen on dressing up - aforementioned goth-loli not counting as 'dress up' on account of being a style. Which was different from dressing in costumes and the like. Totally.

Louisa continued to eat her ice cream and look out the window as the other girl spoke. She watched all the young children running around in their little costumes. See it made sense for little kids but Louisa was 16 and surely that meant she was too old to be dressing up and running around.
"Yes there are those who are weird 24/7." She smiled and picked up her coffee finding it really hot before remembering she had just been eating cold ice cream. Shame all the ice cream was gone now. Well it would take some time to drink coffee when it felt this hot in your mouth.
"So how come you came here? Assuming you are from Crystal as I haven't seen you about school I would have thought you had cafes and things there." Wasn't it a posh expensive school after all?
