It was early in the evening and Zuberi was outside the pack boarders patroling, it was his job to keep everything safe, to know what was going on around his pack. He wanted to insure that everything was secure and safe, not that the pack had really had any problems with intruders, they were open to everyone, it was a friendly enviroment.
As Zuberi poked his head through some long grass he spotted a female dog not to far in the distance, forgetting his job all together he began to head in her direction. He loved to make new friends, and what was better then a female friend. He could tell from the distance that the wild dog was younger then him, and for some reason this made him smile.
He slinked through the long grass, moving very smoothly. Before making it to her side he announced his presence as to not startle her. "Why hello there." he said in a deep voice.

She jumped as she heard another apporatch her. Though she wasn't doing anything different then she normally did. Escaping her sister Lyriddle for the time being. Though normally it was her who made her sister tag along. Bossed her sister around, but she was a princess. Even if that meant that her sister was too, but Aesthyrondalauri was older anyways. She turned her head to look at who had disturbed her. How rude it was... He was to impose on her lone time. She gave him a nasty look as if saying "Do you know who I am?"
"What do you want." She snapped at him with a rather prissy attitude. She could act any why she wanted. She wore random jewels she had taken from her fathers collection. They were bright red rubies. She had the upon her neck and paws. "It better be a good reason! I'm a very important wild dog I will have you know!" She said in a matter of fact sorta voice. As if she was right, and whatever he could say was wrong, unless he agreed with her. She didn't care for running into others. Nor did she care to making friends. Nasty filthy creatures roamed this earth. And he could be one of them. She eyed him again. Though his pelt looked rather clean for a male. Or at least any male she had known.

Zuberi sensing that perhaps this wild dog was not the friendly of others decided to butter her up a bit. "My appoligizes" he said to her as he swept into a low bow, "I did not mean to intrurpt you or anyting. It is just that I saw you from the distance and knew that I must meet you." he gave her a dazzling smile, some of his best work really.
He eyed her up and down, she certainly did look important will all the jewls that she was waring, Zuberi himself prefered the all natural look, beauty always spoke to him with or with out accessories. "You are clearly someone very important might I ask who? I appologize for my ignorance of course." Zuberi really was a smooth talker, most of what he said was a compelte fib, he didn't think this dog was any more important then the next but her attitude and appearence had gotten his blood stirring and he was intruiged.

A charmer he seemed to be. She kinda forgave him for his arrogance... Just a little bit. She still had the unpleasant look upon her face as if he was some stupid thing that had just asked her the most obvious question in the world. "I'm a princess. Might I have to spell it out for everyone who passes upon this land of ignorance!" She said in another snappish tone. God she hated some creatures, but he seemed to at least say sorry for his ignorance. She supposed she could wear a crown to show her status, though in her soon to be pride that her father was making with her mother and her mother's sister, it didn't go with how the pride was to be. She supposed that didn't matter.
"You wanted to meet me? Well I suppose that's no surprise. I glow with importance." She was rather high upon herself, anyone could see that. It amazed her sister, that people actually bought everything she said. Well, not everyone did, but most everyone did. Mostly males. They seemed so easy to manipulate when needed to be. "Now... What is it?"

Zuberi smiled, ah so she thought herself a princess. Perhaps this was going to be much more fun then he had originally thought. It was interesting really, well perhaps two could play her game. "It is funny that you say you are a princess, I should have known really." another smooth smile floated her way.
"I myself am a King, I rule in a pack not to far from her." he smiled, hoping that she would buy it. He had never seen royalty before and well he figured as long as he kept talking to her and buttering her up that this all might work. She was a good looking dog, and she seemed like it would be worth the effort.

She looked at him with a stunned expression. What was she to say know. If he really was a King, she just treated him like a pieon. Some creature that doesn't deserve to live. She didn't appologize. She eyed him again. "The king of what pride?" She asked him carefully. She wasn't sure about prides, but if he could name a convincing one off fastly, she'd know he wasn't lieing then figure out what she was to do about her rude behavior.
Though it would explain his neatly kept fur. Seeing how her brothers and her father was. No matter. She thought her test was pretty good, thought that if he wasn't a king he wouldn't be able to come up with a good pride of his kingdom. She never thought about anyone being in a pride but not being royalty. At least not at this very moment. Sometimes the simple things sliped her mind.

Strongear smiled, hoping that his plan was not about to fumble around him, he didn't know the area well aside from his own, knowing that he had never smelt her sent in the area before now he took a chance, "I rule the Peke Na" he answered confidently. In away he felt it was true, he ruled in away there, he was very social and was friends with everyone in the pack more or less.
"You are however the first Princess I have ever met, and I am glad that I have met you. I never imaged that I would see someone so beautiful" he shifted the conversation back towards her hoping that she would fall into the trap, the more conversation focussed on her, the less likely it was the he would be caught in his lie. Which of course was the last thing he wanted, this dog had caught his attention, and now he was fully interested in getting to 'know her'. Though he had a feeling it was going to be a bit of work to get her to that point.

She seemed to change her attitude, though she still wasn't going to appologize. Princesses didn't appologize. She felt flattered with his remarks as he continued to spoke. "Shame that there are so little princesses then." Though she was rather happy that there hadn't been anyone else he had meet like her. Good thing she left her sister at home. Aesthyrondalaurai wasn't the prettiest female from her litter, and she knew that but would never admit it. "Oh, you flatter well, my king. " She said with a giggle.
"I'm Aesthyrondalaurai, Princess of Tugela" She gave a small bow towards the male. Still standing where he had scared her. Though, he was fairly close to her. Now that he wasn't a low ended creature, she could act more like a lady and be a bit nicer... Not too much though. She raised her head and looked at him with her light blue eyes. Almost as blue as the clear sky above.

Zuberi smiled it had worked. He relaxed a little when the female became a little less abrasive and more lady like. She liked the idea of him being a kind, Zuberi just hoped he could play the part well enough to seal the deal so to speak. "It is a shame that there are so few princesses, but I count myself as lucky now that I have met you."
"My name is Zuberi-Sikio." he announced to her, decided to go with his full given name that he rarely gave everyone, but his pack name wouldn't impress her and Zuberi just didn't sound nearly as impressive. He bowed to her lower then he had the first time, feeling that even kings would bow to a princess particularly one that was so beautiful.
He relaxed his stance and sat peacefully in front of her, hoping that if he relaxed she would.

"I'm sure there are plenty out there, but none as pretty as myself." She said with half smile. Of course any princess would say that. She was different then most princesses and she knew it. She could see things most couldn't see. Though they came in flashes and at random times. That, she wouldn't tell anyone except her closest sister. The others weren't important.
"Why is a King so far from his domain?" She asked him. She certainly didn't smell any other wild dogs that might suggest a pride... At least not where she was. She never really tried looking for trouble, so she never really tried looking for prides or packs. That way it kept her safe. She couldn't imagine what would happen to her if she had been attacked. How ugly she'd become from a lion's claws... Or worse... Become a slave to someone disgusting.

Zuberi smiled "Of course no one is as beautiful as you my dear." it wasn't a lie, she was a rather striking dog. When she asked why he was so far from home Zuberi didn't miss a beat, it was a valid question after all, "Well I was out looking for a princess I suppose. As I said before I have never met any and their was no one suitable for a King such as myself in my domain."
He looked her straight in the face, "I must ask you the same my dear, surelly you are far from your home, as I have never met you before, and it is so dangerous for a young one such as yourslef to be out alone. And a princess to boot, it would be a shame if the wrong dog were to find out. I would not want any harm to come to such a beautiful face." at the mention of her beauty Zuberi lifted his paw and stroked her face.

"My so called Lady in Waiting got us lost." Of course it was natural for her to blame her sister for everything. Lyriddle even let it happen. She didn't back talk Laurai at all and just let things get blamed on her. She signed. "We were out looking for jewels for myself, and we took the wrong turn. She said she knew where she was going." She spoke with a nod. Yes... That was it... All her fault.
"Then I decided I need a little are to myself. She couldn't understand how I feel getting lost" Of course it wasn't that bad. It got her a new jewel to add to her collection that Lyriddle had, and it also got her out here meeting with him. The King of... she forgot the name of his pack already. But that was no matter. It had sounded important at the time he had said it.
"I'm just a damsel in distress right now" She said in a sigh.

He smiled, she was lining everything up for him, he could not have done it better himself if he had been playing both parts himself. "Well my dear, I am here now you will be safe. I would never let harm come to you." he smiled to her, and moved closer.
"We will just have to give your Lady a peive of our minds when we see her next, it is inexcusable for such a thing to happen to you." he wished that he was able to give her a jewel or something to butter her up more, but at last he had nothing.
"So how long do I have the honor of your company this eveing, I will be very sad to see you go anywhere?"

"No no, don't bother with trying to tell her off, I think I do that enough." She said with a wave of her paw. She'd deal with her sister later. Plus, she didn't want this male to figure out they were sisters... Would mean that they BOTH where princesses not one being a princess and one lady in waiting. No matter.
"I'm not sure, I guess as long as I wish to stay." She said with a sly grin "In other words, As long as a king such as your self keeps me entertained."

"I am sure I will be able to keep you entertained my dear." he pulled the young wild dog closer to him. Hoping that she wouldn't put up and resistance. "I have the whole night my dear, I hope that you do as well." is smiled at her. He was very pleased that he met this wild dog this eveing. She was endearing and cute princess or not. He was sure they would have a good time.
