I lay on the heavenly(but it is) comfortable bed, sinking into the eygptian linen, and intensely focus on the crumbling book in my hands. The label reads "soul music by terry Prattchett".
Creaking from the doorway, i look over to it. To see you. "hello"

(2 things a pic is not a requirement and it makes you typing hard to read and noticing someone befor they come in is a bit hard to follow up RP wise)
lance came to the door knocking politely "wonder who just moved in here" he mumbled to himself "it is a new tenant in our abode"

(well it's a process now instead of using * to describe an action use it as a third person POV i.e lance did... or she handed him a bottle of coke makes it flow alot better lance chuckled and flashed his fangs "not that either dear and besides i already ate" when he heard the name of the book "soul music huh....oh what cruel ironies" he gave the room a quick glance seeing a few more books scattered about but nothing of interest to him then realizing he had been impolite he retired his attention to her "i don't believe i know your name... mines Lancelot but just lance for short"

(ok I'll try but third person feels weird to me.)
"Oh I'm Julia, I'm sure there is a book for you as I have a whole array from science fiction to pure fact from one of my previous homes." She looks you up and down, before gently tossing a book towards you. Smiles she suggests that it was only based on a first impression and your namesake-as the title reads camelot:a collection of Arthurian legend. My hunger momentarily beckons so I return to drink a sip.

(that's better still a little hinky but better)
lance looked at the book an put it back "no offense but this particular book doesn't interest me i personally am into the more arcane" he pulled out a orb and focused on it changing it into a miniature version of Julia it then walked circles around his hand he chuckled then looked back up "and besides there is always the library if you want a book that is a little off the beaten path" lance let's go of his focus and the orb snaps back into it's original shape a orb about the size of his palm

well I'm happy I can relax here without the need to disguise my activities. Anyway I was just trying to share something with you. Sighing I get up and gather the books, placing them on the oak shelves.

Julia drags her wearied feet to the doorway of her abode, as her arms are laden with such an amount of books, that only the strongman at the circus she grew up in could withstand. Placing them on the bedside table to read later, she pauses, scouting the supposedly vacant room with cold emerald irises. A single, light knock had emanated from the doorway and caught her off guard. "who's there?" her curiousity enquired.

(haha your doing the knocking thing again)
Rhea hastily stepped through the doorway, her black eyes fixed on the room’s owner, not giving a care for the scenery. “Don’tmove.” The words came out in a single breathe, without pause, and her bare feet crossed the room silently. Suddenly she was off the ground, inches from the other’s face, a small pale hand reached out to pluck hair from the head.
