At that moment in time, Taradhia was on cloud nine. He and his best friend Terema were now mates, and things were going great. He truely couldn't have been happier. Right now he was heading to the hunting grounds in order to catch something to give to Terema. Now that they were together, he felt an even bigger need to care for her than he did when they were just friends.

When he reached the hunting grounds, he ended up spotting another Ela'wadiyi member before spotting any prey. He had never seen her before, and so he decided to go introduce himself. Smiling, he made his way over to her.

Jibanza was the name of the mystery female that Taradhia had spotted. She had come to the hunting grounds today simply to watch others hunt, rather than doing any hunting herself. Being the daughter of the Goddess of the Hunt, she was actually extremely good at hunting. The only problem was that everytime she killed another animal, she felt terrible about it.

When she heard the sound of approaching footsteps, she turned to look who was coming. She smiled when she spotted the white male who was heading towards her. He must've been born in these lands, as he was absolutely covered in tattoos. As a sign of respect, she got up from where she was sitting and bowed her head towards him. "Greetings."

When Taradhia reached her, he bowed his head in return, as it was the polite thing to do. "Greetings. My name is Taradhia Subiani of the Shadow Clan." Once the introductions were over and done with, the white lion looked out over the hunting grounds. There didn't seem to be a single prey beast in sight.

"Oh dear." He said, turning to the black female. "I hope I didn't scare away your prey. As soon as I saw you I just thought it best to come and introduce myself." Taradhia had always been a pretty good hunter himself, but apparently his eagerness to meet others had gotten the better of him.

Jibanza smiled and nodded. "My name is Jibanza. The Clan that I was destined to join was the Earth Clan. Pleased to meet you." The black lioness was on the more timid side, so meeting new friends didn't come very easily to her at all. She shuffled shyly on the spot was she watched the male look out over the hunting grounds.

When he started apologising to her about possibly having scared his prey away, she shook her head. "No no, you didn't. They were all hiding before you got here." Due to her Seer powers, which she had yet to fully realise, she could sense that they weren't the only two in the immediate area.

"They were...hiding?" Taradhia raised a brow as he once again looked around. He couldn't see anyone or anything, so how could Jibanza possibly know that there were creatures hiding around here? Ah well, he wasn't all that hungry anyways, and he was sure that Terema wouldn't mind if he just brought her back something later.

"Nevermind then." He said with a smile, turning back to the black female as he did so. "So, have you been here long? In the hunting grounds I mean. Did you actually see the prey run off and hide?"

Jibanza could feel the cheeks underneath her fur turn red. She had never been able to explain how she just happened to feel the pressence of the prey beasts she encountered, and so now she felt a bit silly for having brought it up. "I haven't been here long." She replied quietly. "I just...know that they're out there, that's all."

She knew that Taradhia meant well, but now she was just worried that he would think she was weird and just go away again. Although she wasn't good at meeting new friends, that didn't mean that she didn't want to meet new friends.

"I see." Yes, what the female had said was a bit strange, but it was no stranger than some of the things Terema came out with. When he thought about that, he couldn't help but smile. "Well, lets just leave them be then. I can hunt another time."

Still smiling, Taradhia flopped into a sitting position. It was at this point that he took a better look at Jibanza. She had some really lovely tattoos, but they weren't covering her body, so she must be an outsider who joined up. "Your tattoos are very lovely." Grinning, he tapped his front feet, a bit like what his mate did. He did it so as to bring attention to his own tattoos. "We both have bird tattoos on our legs."

Jibanza smiled happily, obviously glad that Taradhia had chosen not to leave despite what she had said. She was also glad that the subject had changed, and so she contently sat down in front of him.

When the male motioned towards his own feet, she laughed gently. "Oh wow, so we have." She then looked down at her own feet. "I am a huge lover of nature, and so I thought it would be a good idea to have tattoos that show that." She smiled and lifted her right paw in order to point at one of the tattoos on her left leg. "My favorite is the rabbit. What is your favorite tattoo that you have?"

The Ela'wadiyi were a pride that respected the world and everything in it, and so it made Taradhia happy to know that new members like Jibanza felt the same way. She surely will have fitted into the pride perfectly.

When asked about his favorite tattoo, Taradhia blinked and started looking all over his body. He had never really thought about which tattoo was his favorite, so now that he did, he didn't know how to answer. "Hmm, that's a really good question." Eventually though, his eyes returned to his bird tattoos. Smiling, he nodded towards them. "Probably my bird tattoos, because they represent the most important thing in my life; my mate."

Jibanza couldn't help but do a little 'aww' inside when Taradhia told her what his favorite tattoo was and the reason for it. "That's very sweet." She hadn't really been in the pride long enough to form any proper bonds with others yet, but she did like the idea of someday finding her soul mate within the pride. It was just such a pleasant thought.

"Thank you." Taradhia replied, grinning sheepishly. Everyone he had ever told about the bird tattoos thought it was incredibly endearing, which always made him feel a bit embarassed. They were truely important to him though, and so he liked to tell others about them.

Speaking of his mate, he figured he had best return to her. Maybe they could go hunting together tomorrow, or Terema could just come with him and watch. "I'm going to return to my mate now. It was very nice meeting you Jibanza, take care of yourself." He smiled. "Goodbye!" And with that, he turned and started heading back in the direction of his Clan lands.

When Taradhia got up to leave, Jibanza politely bowed her head. "It was nice to meet you too Taradhia. Maybe next time we meet, I'll get to meet your mate as well." She smiled. "Farewell."

After Taradhia had turned to leave, Jibanza turned to face the hunting grounds once more. Once the white lion had walked far enough away, small prey beasts started creeping out from underneath bushes and behind rocks. Jibanza smiled happily, as just like she knew they were there, the other animals seemed to know that the black nature-loving lioness meant them no harm.
