Aretoo and I were in a car accident on Wednesday October 28th. We are both fine now, I have a nasty bruise on my left shin, Aretoo has 5 broken ribs but nothing worse that we know of. We have gotten nothing but support from all our close friends and family and I just wanted you all to be in the loop of why Aretoo and I weren't around for the last couple days.
And to maintain our new pose of full disclosure... I would also like to tell you all that I'm now an uncle. ^_^ My sister gave birth to a wonderful baby boy on that same day. 40 minutes of labor before a C-section, the shortest labor I have EVER heard of.
Spoon fed: 1. medical coincidences 2. Becoming a different kind of family member (Father, Grandparent, Step-child etc.) 3. Injuries.
Remember to follow the Gaia ToS and don't rag on someone else's experiences.

The little lad had problems with his heart when the doctors induced labor. That's why the birth was short. He was a FAT baby too, coming in at nearly 8 lbs. He was having trouble breathing but I believe that everything turned out OK with him too. ^_^

Kals is questing again!yeah I figured that a c-section 40 minutes in meant complications.
My oldest niece decided to come out about 4.5 weeks ahead of schedule. She was having trouble with breathing and eating, and spent 10 days in the NICU with oxygen and a feeding tube before she got to come home. She's now a robust almost-4-year-old who loves to dance and is obsessed with Cinderella. Check sig for details!

He was a fat baby at 8 lbs? Must have been a short baby. How is the baby now? They must be monitoring him. Glad to hear that you and Aretoo made it out of the accident alive. How is Aretoo holding up?
I just clued in this year that I'm an aunt. I mean the kids have been calling me that forever now, but when my sister-in-law told me that no matter what I'll always be their aunt it really sunk in for me. I kind of like it!

With the whole Accident thing it really hasn't set in yet Mimako. The baby is fine now as far as I know, my mom is going to pull through with some massaging balls for Aretoo's knots. And we have been sitting at home with Facebook applications as our companions.
