Daeze emerged slowly from her den in the Mteo'nyungu Lands and paused for a moment for a deep stretch and then proceeded to look groggily around. It was such a beautiful morning! She shook off her sleepiness as she saw that the day was guaranteed to be great. After a good night sleep and admiring her gorgeousness, the day simply could not go wrong! Perhaps it was that the previous day, she had actually had a good experience with Hermes. Strange as it was, she had been mildly kind to him, and they ended up joking around, being dramatic, it was actually quite amusing. And though she would rather DIE than admit it to Hermes, she was actually looking forward to seeing him again today. She could use someone that she would be able to joke around with and relieve stress. He seemed like he was really becoming her friend.

It was not really like Daeze to loosen up, but Hermes was slowly but surely having that effect on her. When they had first met, Hermes had flirted with her violently, and she gave him a severe verbal thrashing and ran, but now, she sort of felt like it would be fun to flirt back, maybe fawn over him, just to see how he would react. She loved acting around him. When he didn't get it, it made her feel cunning, like a good actress, and when he caught on, he would tease her back.

Daeze wanted to test her new game, so she trotted up to a nearby puddle, and washed up. She groomed herself until her pelt sparkled, and practiced her flirty look a few times. She then decided it was time to find her vict- er... friend, and started at her usual napping place, searching for the familiar pale green and bubblegum pink lion.

He had been awake for a while, though he now lay with his four paws in the air, his toes capturing the sun and pulling it in to his belly, or that was what he seemed to be doing, for the bulk of his body was in shadows, only his soft green belly shone with the sunlight.

he heard her coming before she even broke through to where he was, but he stayed still, finding her scent with his nose and absorbing it, breathing in the smell that he enjoyed probably above anything else. The scent of a Daeze. It was quite funny that she didn't like being called a flower, he doubted she knew she smelled of roses, it must have been her washing routine, should he inform her? he knew it would annoy her.

Yawning he chuckles to himself and waits for the explosion of insults, thats the way their dates always started, insults then lovey dovey eyes. His little flower was coming to him, all he had to do, was wait.

Walking further out onto the rock, she paused, shifting her weight to one side casually as she turned her head from side to side, scanning the lions before her. Let's see: Blue, red, brown, red... Green! There he was. It was showtime. As she turned her head, she let her soft white tuft of mane cover the majority of one of her eyes, intending to look her best for her premier debut of the 'loving, flirty girlfriend'. Daeze turned towards Hermes and didn't walk, but strode towards him, making sure that her hips subtly swung from side to side. Ever since she was a cub, she had enjoyed getting all dolled up, either to see how many males stared at her, how many females shot her daggers, or even just because it was fun. She loved feeling beautiful, and she knew that Hermes would appreciate it, even if it was in his own crude way.

Right up there with grooming herself to perfection and strutting around, was messing with Hermes. He was so predictable in the way that he would always hit on her, but the method of doing so was always a mystery. Part of her new routine, was finding ways to try to freak Hermes out. As she had learned when she was a cub, usually the best tactic was to be unexpected. Until this point, Daeze had completely rejected any attempts to flirt with her, and made sure to make harsh remarks. How much would it freak him out if she was suddenly sweet, sassy, and flirty at the same time? She aimed to find out.

As she reached him she stood above him and lowered her eyelids slightly, her snowy hair covering her right eye, and slapped on a sexy crooked smile she had mastered from her frequent parading around the Mteo Lands. Gently and slowly, she lowered her head towards his ear and said in a whisper, “Hey, hot stuff.”, and then strode over to his stomach, and laid her own upon it, and then rest her golden upon his shoulder. If that didn't either turn him on, or freak him out, there was something really wrong with him.

He was almost surprised that she lay upon his chest, it was even more surprising that he caught on to her plot straight away, a grin spreads on his maw. "hey baby, you're blocking my sun." He opens one eye and looks at her, draping a paw over her shoulder he pushes her gently and straddles her, his soft green body towering over her dusty pink. He stretches and rolls his shoulders, allowing a wide yawn to roll over his maw.

"You ready for our date my pretty little rose bud?" He grins, his very pale blue eyes laughing at her attempt to flirt with him. "You know, you don't have to look all slutty for me, though I appreciate the sentiment, I like it better when you're just my beautiful little flower. Course now my belly is cold" he lowers himself and cuddles the dusty pink lioness burying his nose in her leck and purring "You smell just like wild flowers my daeze, how can i not call you a flower, if nothing else but for that hmm?"

Daeze's eyes darted slightly when she realized that he wasn't flipping out, or asking if she was ill. He was actually loving this? And he was pretending it was natural? Just when she thought she had Hermes figured out, he rolled her over and stood over her, his muscular chest in her face. She couldn't help but blush slightly. She thanked the gods for her pink fur that would mask her reddening face. There was no denying that Hermes was at very least cute. And funny.

“I just figured I would dress up for the occasion.”, she said in a seductive voice. “And of course I am a flower, why, even the gods marked me the symbol of a flower.”, she continued as she gestured to her hip. There was no way on earth that Daeze was going to break character. Her mother had taught her that was one of the cardinal sins of acting. Always stay with your character. If you forget the lines: improvise. If the other lion forgets the lines: improvise with them. As Hermes laid himself down upon her, she couldn't help but breath in his scent. It was gentle, but noticeable. He smelled of the fresh grasses of the plains. She loved grass.

As he laid there, she realized that she could either make the situation worse or get him to stop playing along, depending on how well she did teasing him. “You're so warm...”, she whispered, then proceeding to slowly lick his neck against the fur. She had learned a lot from being gorgeous. One was that licking against the fur sent tingles up a male's spine. That was her goal.

Okay well, if she wanted to go this way, who was he to complain? A smile spreads on his maw and he grooms her face as a long, pleased shiver rolls down his spine from her grooming. "Lets go then Daeze my love, you don't want all of these lions about while we have our date do you?" He moves slightly and noses her to get her to her paws, helping her to her toes before he chuckles and lowers his bubblegum pink mane and bodily 'tossing' the dusty lioness over his shoulders.

"I'll carry you away to far off lands!" He snickers starting to pad away fromt he large group of lions that wa sundoubtedly watching them. Well, she had innitiated it, they would simply think he was playing along with her games. they were seen together so much these days.

He had even heard rumors about them both, everyone thought they were together, he didn't want to disappoint them. The fact that he was bodily kidnapping her due to her actions didn't even cross his mind. She wanted to play rough and get his juices going then he would play rough too.

Daeze felt Hermes shake as she teased up the fur on the side of his neck, and couldn't help but let out a happy shiver, causing her to curl her face into the base of his throat, breathing deeply and purring. “Why of course. I wouldn't want them watching us.”, she said mischievously with a wink. As Daeze got up, she expected Hermes to lead her to some secluded place. But after pausing for a minute, she felt a lifting sensation as she was promptly slung over Hermes shoulders. “Woah!”, she uttered with a giggle. “Hermes, what are you doing?”, she asked playfully As she looked around, she realized that her pride mates, and even her friends were watching her. Some of them were even bold enough to wolf-whistle. At this, she hung her head in shame. Her pride would never look at her the same way again. They would think she was a slut. Or worse. They would think that she was with Hermes... Oh God, they already did!

As she calmed down, she asked, “So, where is our date? Somewhere romantic? Far away lands sound... far away. As much as I love that you are willing to carry me, if it is far, perhaps I should walk, 'cause your shoulders are in my stomach.”, she finished teasingly. What the heck had she gotten herself into? Hermes' intentions seemed to be more than a 'date'. Taking her away to a deserted place hardly seemed like a thing he would do unless he had other ideas. But if she could, she would continue to be in her character. Maybe things would work out.

As Hermes walked, Daeze flipped herself so that her body was directed the same as his, stomach on his back. She then lowered her nose to his neck and began to nibble on the back of his neck, pulling gently. She had to keep teasing him otherwise that meant she lost. Daeze hated losing.

Hermes chuckles "Oh no my lady love, you are being swept off your paws, can't you see that?" He grins almost chivalrously, though this grin was tainted with his usual teasing eyes and slight roguish glint to his teeth.

"You will have to wait and see I have been keeping this place from you for just such an occasion, I knew the day would come when you would want me to take you away to far off, wonderful places and show you, a good time." He chuckles, he was waiting for her to give up the goat, but if she didn't? Well, he wasn't about to back down,he was no weak kitten, he was a big male ready and willing to take control and if the lady was willing, then damn he was ready to roll.

making a beeline for a small copse of trees, the soft green lion starts to hum his favourite tune, the tune he always sang to his Daeze. She was in for a treat, a very special treat.

As Hermes refused to put her down, she began to wonder, what would happen if she let him continue? She knew she wouldn't dislike it. He did have a certain charm about him. Surely letting it happen once couldn't be so wrong. Especially since she hated to lose. Even if it meant handing herself over to him, she could still say she got him. And besides, she could use a little fun. Speaking up, she said dreamily, “My knight in shining armor.”, batting her eyelashes. Admittedly, being swept off her paws really was a sweet gesture, it had been something she had imagined that her dream mate would do. Take her someplace romantic, cuddle and talk about their dreams, their futu-- WAIT! What was she thinking?! This was Hermes, some random rogue that had pretty much stalked her, joined her pride, and then kidnapped her! The last thing he was would be a knight in shining armour. More like a squishy, stalker-bandit.

“To be honest, I have been waiting for you to steal me away for a while now. I was just playing hard to get. I know how much you like me being sassy and witty.”, Daeze said sweetly. She had a plan now. All she had to do, is when he was about to do anything, quickly pull away and say, “Gotcha!” But the plan vaporized in her mind as they approached a beautiful canopy of trees. The shade looked lovely, and the sun would speckle their pelts with bright light between the leaves. For the first time during this act, she was being sincere, “Oh... Hermes, this place is beautiful!”, sounding lovestruck as she gazed wide-eyed at the trees being gently rustled by the wind.

As Hermes began to hum the song, her eyelids lowered sweetly. He was singing a song for her. Her song. She had always wanted a song. Of course when he had first sung it as a stalker, it was immensely creepy, but now, it just seemed like the most romantic, caring thing ever.

The pale pink maned male grins broadly as he walks beneath the canopy of trees, the sun streaked perfectly from above and right in the center a beam of sunlight alighted upon a bed of soft petals.

It had actually taken Hermes a long time to get all the petals, flowers wern't exactly easy to come by, but any time he found one he had fetched it here and placed it amongst the others. It meant some of the petals were older, but the new ones covered the old and the old released a fragrance which filled the air with a heady warm scent.

"I made it for you." He beams broadly laying down int he center of the flowers so that Daeze could gett off his back in a more dignified manner. he was actually quite surprised at how, dumb struck she seemed, that for once she was being truely nice. He almost asked her if she was ill, but he had tried that before, she seemed to simply be a sucker for this romance lark, score!

Daeze let out an amazed gasp as they approached a circle of light. How did he know? A spot light! She loved being in the spotlight! Being the center of attention, being looked at, envied by the girls and wanted by the boys. And OH MY GOODNESS, he laid down a bed of petals. The perfume-y scent filled the air, and lingered. The smell reminded her of when she was just a cub, and while the others romped around, she tossed them disapproving glances while she searched for flowers; beauty paired with a feminine aroma. She had realized they were rare, just like beauty. The fact that Hermes must have spent hours upon hours simply finding them warmed her heart. That he would go to so much trouble, just to please her made her breathe a contented sigh.

As Hermes laid himself down, Daeze dismounted gracefully, looking around once more in awe. “It's beautiful, Hermes”, she said, still gaping in wonder of the effort he put into this. And not in vain. She laid herself down next to him, and gave him a lick on his soft green cheek. At this time, she had completely forgotten she was acting. For now she was not. She was sincere, the beauty of the situation melting away all the deceptive thoughts she had. She had convinced herself she was now on a date with Hermes, willingly.

“So, what did you have planned for our date?”, she asked curiously, purring as she licked his ear gently. Either Hermes seriously cared about her, or he was putting on a VERY convincing show.

The pale green lion grins broadly, wow, this one had really worked. He tried to convince himself that maybe he was just doing this to taunt Daeze, he was doing this to take advantage. Secretly he had spent all this time collecting the flowers to impress her, to bring her here when the time was right.

Taking a long breath he turns to Daeze and whispers in her ear, nuzzling her soft furry circle. "Whet ever you like My daeze, this is just for you." He smiles draping a paw around her shoulders and nudging her lightly so he could wrap his paws around her and nose in to her throat.

"This is all for you, I knew you'd like it." He smiles, his throat letting out a soft grumble "Just spend some time with me hmm?" the pink maned lion grins.

Hermes was trying to impress her? Well it was certainly working! The sheer amount of determination paired with the fact that he had done a beautiful job wooing her with his charms and scenery was wonderful. She thought that if he had put so much work into simply getting her attention, surely he would be dedicated. Though it seemed that the only reason he had fallen for her was her looks, and it was, surely it was more than that now, because he wouldn't put so much time and care into just someone who he thought was cute would he?

Looking deeply into Hermes' soft blue eyes, her slightly agape mouth curled into a genuine smile. She still couldn't believe how sweet he was being. So kind and gentle. If he had not been so amazing to her, she would have promptly rejected his advances. But she did not. Daeze shifted slightly to help Hermes move around her. As he nosed her throat, she quickly began to purr. This was heaven.

As he suggested she spend time with him, she looked him squarely in the eyes and whispered in his ear, “Of course”, her throat releasing a slightly louder rumble than her purr as she began licking up the side of his neck tenderly.
