Name: Vhâza Howldeath
Race: Goblin (Mutant)
Age: Adult (by Goblin standards)
Weapons of Choice: Two Enchanted longswords, a composite shortbow.
Abilities: Immunity to magic, enhanced strength and intelligence, regenative properties.
Appearance: Vhâza stands about three feet tall and weighs about 60 some lbs.
Bio: Vhaza was a typical Goblin child once: mean spirited, cowardly, thieving, and ugly by most humanoid standards. That changed when her village was conquered by a cruel wizard. Randomly selected as a subject for her master's plans to create a superior breed of goblin, she was subjected to a horrific array of experiments and tests, infused with potions and chemicals, blasted and warped by spells, and generally had a pretty rotten childhood, even by Goblin Stanbards. On the plus side, she had plenty of food and her own cell that she didn't have to share with the rest of her tribe.
After a few years of this experimenting and modeling and shaping, the Wizard's experiments paid off. Vhâza's strength and mental faculties were greatly increased, allowing her to outfight and out-think even Orcs, Dwarves, and Hobgoblins. She was infused with troll blood, allowing her to regenerate lost limbs. She was made resistant to magical effects and charms, and her cowardice was replaced with aggression. And because the Wizard thought Goblins were an eyesore, he made Vhaza visually appealing.
Unfortunately for the Wizard, he did not take the time to actually think about what would happen when he made a creature that he had tormented for years stronger than usual, intelligent, aggressive, and immune to magic. Predictably, Vhâza realized that she no longer had to suffer the life of a lab animal and messily butchered the man responsible.
Having liberated herself, Vhâza also realized how powerful Magic was and attempted to make use of it in the same way the Wizard had. However, as an amateur to magic, she made a basic mistake and ended up causing the Wizard's fortress to explode. Thanks to her immunity to magic and her regeneration, she survived but her entire clan was wiped out in the explosion.
Vhâza sought to dominate and rule other Goblin tribes with her superior intelligence and strength, but each time she was chased off as a hideous monster. This annoyed Vhâza to no end and troubled her as well. She realized that she indeed, by Goblin Standards, was utterly hideous.
She would never be accepted by her people, and while a vicious fighter, she felt she would never be able to conquer any tribe of larger monsters.
Bitter and angry at the world, the Goblin retreated to the forest and made for herself a hideout and set herself up as a bandit, planning eventually to gather enough gold and or knowledge to create a race of goblins like herself.
