Little was going on...
Snow had begun to fall, making this the first snow the splotched buck had witnessed, outside from what he had seen from the safety of the hutch. And given his coloration, it really didn't help all that much. During the other seasons, the white on his coat stood out. During the winter, it was his black splotches that grabbed they eye of hungry elil.
Still, the buck was itching to exit the warren to graze. He was hungry, and not to mention anxiously bored. He wanted something to do, something more entertaining than listening to warren life drone on about him and chewing pellets.
An idea snuck into his mind as he lounged.
Moonsong. He had known her for some time and she seemed the type game for something out of the ordinary. Albeit he didn't know her as well as others, he had taken a bit of a fancy towards her.
The hefty creature slipped from his own burrow, into the runs. His spotted paws carried him swiftly down the many runs, towards the burrow of the particular doe he was seeking. Hopefully she would be there.
He didn't slow until he was near.
"Moonsong?"

Things seemed slow since the snow began to fall. Young and old rabbits stayed in the relative warmth and closeness of the burrows and runs of the warren.
Moonsong was in her burrow feeling something awkward between wanting to just nap and running around as fast she could manage. It probably didn't help that she hadn't gone outside yet, and therefore was rather peckish. Most of her usual companions wanted to wait for either the snow to stop or for a larger group to want to go out.
She did not mind the snow too badly. Granted her coat only partially hid her against the pristine whiteness of the snow, namely her hindquaters, the doe enjoyed spending time out and about as the fresh snow fell. If something came up, she knew plenty of places around that she could duck out of sight until it was safe.
Shifting herself from laying down on her belly to either side, Moonsong stretched herself and cleaned the fur on her belly absently, thinking of what she could be doing and hummed softly as she worked. Pausing briefly to scratch an itch on the side of her neck, the doe dropped her foot and turned to stick her head out of her burrow upon hearing her name.
The voice was a familiar one, as such the owner was greeted with a warm smile as she slipped out into the run.
"Cowslip, to what do I owe this unexpected pleasure?"
She always enjoyed their visits and was rather fond of him. Moonsong had known him for a time, and while she knew that she could know him better, everything in its own time.

"Boredom, mostly. Seems to be nothing going on, what with the weather as dreary as it is right now." He sighed, but a small smile played across his maw. He sat in the run, his hefty frame taking up a good bit of room, and leisurely groomed a maw as he shifted his silvery eyes towards the monochrome doe.
"I thought you might be just as interested in stirring up some fun as I am? I'm itching to stretch my legs some. Perhaps a trip to the outside for some flay?"

The doe nodded in understanding. Boredom and hunger were the main factors in her odd little mood. "Agreed. It seems that the weather is doing a fair job of keeping most in their burrows." She chuckled and gave a big stretch, then sighed with an easy smile settling on her features.
Moonsong blinked at Cowslip's offer and her smile grew brighter. Her white tag wiggled behind her as she sat up a bit. "Oh, you mind reader, you! Of course, I'm interested stirring something up. I am rather hungry so foraging for some good flay would be most welcome. Enough of this weather induced lethargy, let's go out and enjoy ourselves."

"Glad you like! Now, shall we? Hopefully there is some tasty flay beneath the frost." He wiggled his nose as a smidge of dirt dropped from above and landed on his face. He brushed it away with a paw and turned tail, moving along the runs at an eased pace.
Though the weather was dreary, his spirits were lifting fairly high.

"Yes please." She chimed. "I'm sure there will be. It hasn't been snowing for too long. If anything, it ought to be quite crisp." The doe chuckled and followed after Cowslip. "At least, I'm hoping so."
She was certainly excited to be heading outside and having such pleasant company definitely sweetened the deal. "Also, it is probably safe to say that there won't be too much of a crowd."

"No crowds is a good thing, far as I'm concerned! More flay for us, right?" He chuckled lightly as he neared the surface. He poked his head out of the warren's entrance and almost recoiled as a chilled gust of wind swept past, nipping his nose. It wasn't too bad out yet, just frost, but cold was still cold and he was glad he was still carrying some weight from his hutch days.
His silver eyes and long, sensitive ears were on the search for elil right away, but he saw and heard nothing out of the ordinary and no odd scents hung around the burrow.
"Right! All is well, so lets get going!" He sprang out and dashed forward hastily, glad to be relieving himself of some pent up energy.
