 Hidden from the world there was two twins who lived within the a church that rested off the beaten path. The priest that found them saw that these two children had a gift and soon discovered that this gift was to great for mankind to know of. So they stay in the church not allowed to leave unless they wished to be exploited. But fate can be kind and cruel so when two strangers find the church what will happen?

ma deve essere avvertito la strada della salvezza non è facile.Worn shoe clacked against the cobblestone walk way as a distraught Romano looked about. The sisters fled from the fury on his face knowing that this was the older Italian. It was basically the only way for the priests and nuns to tell the two brothers apart, besides the curl. And seeing one without the other close by was a bit of a rare sight but not that uncommon since the younger of the two seemed to wander off. The sisters thought the younger of the two was absolutely adorable with his curiosity and constant smile and avoided the other because of that scowl, even though the older was very much like the younger if he got frightened.
"Fratello!" Romano called out as he continued his search for his brother. He didn't need him getting hurt or kidnapped because he wandered to far from the church.

It was a cat, it must have climbed over the church walls and into the much deserted grounds. A blissful smile was on the Italian's face as the cat outstretched itself on the grass, revelling at his touch. It was nice to have this unfamiliar contact, so much so, Veniziano had lost track of time. And forgotten where he was.
His brother's voice rang loudly. He should go follow him but that cat--
He ran to his elder brother's voice till he saw Romano himself. He held the cat close to his face.
"Isn't she cute?" We are the lost,

ma deve essere avvertito la strada della salvezza non è facile.Romano gave a sigh of relief when he saw his brother and then he saw the cat in his brothers arms. He had to admit the cat was cute but where did it come from?
"Si Feliciano, she is cute but where did you find her?" he asked his twin because he knew that they weren't allowed outside the church walls since the strange happenings and he didn't see anyone bring the cat in. It could have wandered into the garden maybe because there was a tree big enough to climb and get over the wall. He wondered if Roman would let the two keep her.

"She was in the church grounds. I think she climbed through. They won't take her from us, will they? We should hide her!"
This was an event far out of the ordinairy, he wanted to prolong it but... he was scared if they got caught... would they scowled them?
Feliciano gave a hesitant look towards his brother, he would know best, right? We are the lost,

ma deve essere avvertito la strada della salvezza non è facile.Romano watched his brother cuddle the cat close to him and couldn't help but feel warm inside at how cute the scene in front of him. But that look his little brother gave him tugged at his heartstrings and he quickly decided on what to do.
"We'll tell Father Roman and ask if we can keep her how about that? After all I'm sure she'll help get rid of the mice. With that I'm sure they'll let us keep here. If not I'm sure you can be all adorable that the sister will side with you." He said giving his brother a pat on the head gently before gently putting an arm around him. Feliciano was the only person Romano would act like this towards everyone else was irrelevant. At least in his opinion for the time being.

Ma sapere... tutta la mia forza e il mio affetto ti accompagneranno ogni giorno. Veniziano gave Romano a quick kiss on the cheek. He was sweet, why could no one else see that? The sisters didn't understand Romano like he did, couldn't they give him a chance?
"Fratello... You'll come with me right? Father scares me sometimes..."
But the truth was, there wasn't much that the boy didn't fear. The only person he could trust was his brother.
They had so much taken away from them, simply because of who they were. Who was there left to trust? The idea of keeping the cat didn't sound likely...
He gave the cat a scratch behind the ears.
"We should name her..." We are the lost,

ma deve essere avvertito la strada della salvezza non è facile. "Of course I'll go with you." Romano said as he started to walk his destination was the Father Roman's quarters. He made sure there was come contact with his brother that way the other wouldn't wander off without Romano knowing.
"What do you want to name her? After all you found her." He said raising his hand to give the cat a small pat on the head. Her fur was soft, for a stray maybe it was someone else's cat? Well, that might cause a problem but maybe the cat will find it's way home. If it had one.

Feliciano brushed against Lovino's shoulder on every other step, keeping close for protection.
The cat mewed and purred loudly when Romano stroked her.
"She likes you. Me? Name her? Ummmm..."
The Italian hesitated, he had to make it a good name, this cat was special.
For some reason the only things that could come into the boy's head were names of pastas... Veniziano gave his 'deep thinking' face, his eyes were shut tighter, but it never seemed to do anything.
"Penne~!" [Peh-n-neh]
Yes it was a pasta. But the cutest one! The one which was shaped into little bows, surely it was fitting for this cat? We are the lost,

ma deve essere avvertito la strada della salvezza non è facile.Romano chuckled lightly it was named after a pasta? Well that was his little brother so he'll go with it.
"What a good name Fratello." He said giving the newly dubbed Penne. The cat purred louder. Taking his attention off the cat he noticed that they were close to the Father's quarters. Taking a deep breath to look strong in front of his brother even though he was terrified.
Walking up to the door he knocked softly hearing a soft reply within he opened the door and peeked in before signaling his brother to follow.
"Father, we found a cat. She's all alone and we were wondering if she could stay." Romano said, everything he wanted to say to the Father going out the window. The bright almost golden eyes looked up from old scriptures and looked at the two. Father Roman wasn't mean he was just intimidating looking.

Ma sapere... tutta la mia forza e il mio affetto ti accompagneranno ogni giorno. Yes, the cute pasta name suited the cat. Even Romano agreed! The smile grew and Veniziano almost giggled to himself as he watched the cat in his arms purring, he leant in closer to his brother.
Lovino had reached the door and was now beckoning Feliciano as well.
"Ehhh..." He only managed to let an unsure noise escape but walked closer, his eyes shut tight, it's not so scary when you can't see the scary things.
Father Roman was with a few sisters who exchanged looks of shock and uncertainty.
I don't like those looks...
Feliciano held onto Penne tightly, so much so, she mewed in return.
"I- ..."
Father Roman started but Veniziano interupted him.
"She won't cause any trouble! She's a good kitty! You wouldn't notice her at all! She chases mice too!"
All of his words came out in one breath. Oh no... I just spoke over father Roman?
"I'm sorry!"
Veniziano hid behind his older brother, tears coming to his eyes. We are the lost,

ma deve essere avvertito la strada della salvezza non è facile. Father Roman was about to say something but his Fratello quickly cut him off making the older of the two rather surprised. But it could work in there advantage since it seemed that his brother although now hiding behind him, and as he tried not to grab his brother and run he looked at the Father. Feliciano never did this unless he really wanted something and he was sure the Father wouldn't argue to much.
The Father gave a sigh before standing up and walking over to the two. Making Romano brace himself and get ready to protect his brother.
"Let me see this cat please?" the father said doing his best to look calm and happy as to not scare the twins anymore then needed. If they knew what they harbored then he was sure they could use it to make it so the cat stayed or get anything else they wanted. For now though Romano studies Father Roman wondering if he was going to hurt the cat or take it away.

"S-see the cat?" The younger twin had heard him perfectly well the first time, he just wished he hadn't. He didn't want to part from the cat.
"Yes." Father Roman replied simply.
The boy shut his eyes tighter. What would he want to do with the cat?
Pleeeease don't hurt her!
The Northern Italian couldn't help it, the tears came past his cheeks as he hesitantly passed the cat into Father Roman's hands. He couldn't say no to Father Roman...
The cat continued to pur in the man's arms as he seemed to be studying it.
"If we were to keep it, it would need to be tested. It would be too troublesome if we had an ill cat or a pregnant one. One cat is all. We also need to find out if it's owned by anyone."
"H-her name is Penne..."
He thought it best if the Father referred to her by her name instead of 'it', but quivered behind his brother again when the Father gave him a blank look. We are the lost,

ma deve essere avvertito la strada della salvezza non è facile. "But how can we find out any of those things father? Feliciano and I can't leave the grounds and can't we keep her until then? After all she needs a home to stay safe!" Romano said doing all in his power to make sure that the cat stayed. After all Penne didn't look ill but she didn't look like she was being taken care of either. But Pregnant? How where they going to solve that one? The Father sighed it seemed these two were determined to keep him. He handed the cat to Romano since the other seemed to be hiding behind the older twin.
"She can stay unless we discover that she, Penne, is sick, pregnant or already has an owner and as for finding those out we'll keep an eye on her and I will go into town and ask around." the Father explained before making a gentle shooing motion.
"Now off you go, find some place to play with Penne." He added. Romano quickly took action when given the go ahead. He gently grabbed his brothers hand and cradle the cat with other arm.
Away from the father and in the sunny garden Romano finally stopped and sat down in the grass. It was a nice day after all and the cat could stay for now.
"I'm glad that's over with"
