Appearance Description
A small scrawny kid, Verito looks like he could be picked on easily. He wears a simple white yukata unadorned save for a wide black sash. He wears his long reddish brown hair in a spiky ponytail.
Personality
Verito almost always tells the truth. Because he is unable to mold chakra without his twin brother nearby, Verito is often codependent, latching on to whoever shows him the slightest shred of kindness. He is prone to skulking but in the end, he still maintains childish semblances of hope. His only goal is to become a ninja so he can escape Cannogakure and be reunited with his brother, Recubo.
History
Born into the wealthiest and most powerful clan in Getsugakure, Verito lived a life of affluence. His father, Tamahome Nanashi, was a harsh man, however, and insisted that he trained hard every day. Verito grew to dislike his family, finding their immense power unnerving. Save for his lying brother, Recubo, Verito had few friends in the village, being isolated from poorer children and his only family. While everyone else was at the Chuunin Exams in Getsugakure, Verito was skulking in the Spine (Mountain Ranges) and was kidnapped by a bandit. The bandit, disbelieving Verito's wealth, dragged him to the Land of the Waves, hoping to sell him as a slave. He was purchased immediately, and is currently being trained in taijutsu.
Long Term Goals:
Having accepted that he is too some degree a slave, Verito's only goal can be to excel to (at least) the rank of genin, and hope to find some chance of reuniting with his brother and escaping at the next Chuunin exam. He has long since abandoned hope that anyone from Getsugakure would be looking for him, and so he feels that he at least has to try to do this on his own.
