The Korol and Koroleva are mates, but the Krasavec and Devica are only rarely (as they're usually related). For all members, mating is traditional and sometimes arranged. The Koroleva is always descended from the royal line, while the Korol is selected by her parents from the pack. The Krasavec and Devica are often, but not always, siblings of the Koroleva. They are the advisors/confidants of the rulers. The Carevna is the heiress; the Zhenih is her fiancee.

Rogue breeding is unacceptable, and unmated mothers/pups with no fathers will be shunned.
