The Imperial space station within the Grimaldas System. This is the staging ground for all offensives in the sector, and the final fall back point in case of utter failure. The station guards the point into The Warp which connects to the Imperial homeworlds.

out of the warp came the imperial fleet under the command of the Knight Master and head commander in the imperial palace Alcide Cordell. the fleet consisted of the Battleship " The Changer of Ways" as his capitol ship. With it take 4 grand cruisers and 16 cruisers. "i want you to dock with the station and get everything ready for the assault" Alcide said to one of his officers. he then turned back to the sniper. "i will give you a small detachment of men once we get there and you may take a drop ship and proceed with your mission. you may take what ever supplies you need. though i must ask where do you plan to start?"

Kryn, still nearby on the bridge, turned to the Commander. "Wherever I can find their closest outpost. When I make land I will give you my coordinates, and when I make contact I will relay the enemy's location." He nodded to acknowledge that he understood his limitations with this mission.

"very well get to it. i will be here preparing the main assault. soon as im ready ill contact you and inform you so you can avoid getting killed in the coming chaos." Alcide responded thinking of how he was going to get close to the planet unnoticed. it would minimize his casualties, crush his enemies moral and give him the advantage of surprise.

Kryn nodded. "If I may ask, is there a specific ship you wish me to take? It doesn't matter to me, but I'd rather them not see a destroyer or large ship of any sort entering their planet. The less attention I have at the beginning, the more I can affect their moral." He didn't mean to bug his Commander, but he took this mission very seriously.

A Imperal solider clad in battle armor watched the fleet gather outside; he smirked to himself as he pulled out a datapad and began to write an encripted messages, the address, White Tower, White Haven.

The God Emperor appeared on the viewscreen of the Bridge,"Knight Master! This invasion is taking far longer than I had liked!"

"it is commencing as we speak my lord. i have used my time to set up a few tactics that should not only give us an advantage but destroy the morale of our foes. please observe as the first stage takes place. the launching of 6 drop ships. these are no ordinary ships with very valuable destinations. so as they depart i plan to send your herald to the planets. he should have gain a few more followers for you by the time i have finally taken the main planet. ah here it is..." Alcide said as six quick drop ships departed. "if i may my lord i have a few more things to take care of before my fleet departs. i will contact you in my privet quarters then." Alcide concluded. meanwhile on the dark side of the ship where only those with a task from Alcide operated his plans unfolded. these men where specially chosen by Alcide for their loyalty. they launched 80 pods which were paint black like the void of space. they where also shaped to avoid detection. they carried a deadly cargo which would affect the course of coming battles. the drop ships carried a even deadlier cargo. they had been loaded before the fleet left the imperial capital. these ships had been given targets soon as they had gotten into orbit. these men flying where ready to die for the emperor and that is what they where going to do. the ships where loaded with as much explosives as could fit. they would fly in pairs to their goals the detonate. Alcide had worked it out before he had left and so far only told men he knew would hold their mouths shut till it was time to move. he had his suspicions that someone from within the army on this station was leaking information to the enemy. he had thought of this because of their defeat in this sector before. the mechs where a huge advantage but he felt that there was more to it. the lines were hit right where they needed to be in order to take commanders and positions that held no value were left. that is why at this moment he had a squad of purifiers sweeping the station looking for anyone who might be a spy. the last he had spoken to him they said they were tracing a signal that had left the station heading for the alliance capital world. soon as he was done talking with his emperor he would get the sniper underway and make sure that the heretic was with him. In addition he would have to get one of their covert agents to go. the man was skill at bribing persuading and threatening officials from other groups to serving the emperor. if the sniper backed this man up then he could get most of the officials to given in without a fight giving him the chance to win without so much bloodshed. though he knew that the bombs would kill thousands if not millions of non-combatants. it was terrible because they never had the chance to return back to the bliss of serving the emperor. they were necessary though. their deaths would show the galaxy that the Empire was indeed serious about this war but more immediately it would break the alliance morale in the coming battles.

The God Emperor was content with the plan. He nodded his head, allowing his Commander to do as he pleased in this matter. The plan lacked a certain, finesse that he sought with chaos, but atleast the plan would work. The God Emperor approved the plan before turning away to deal with the Twilight.

Alcide nodded his head to show he understood the faith placed in him and said "i will not fail my lord" then he began to bark out the last few orders. he turned to his sniper and said good luck but i must ask you to take two people with you. there is one with us who the emperor commanded to spread the greatness of our faith and another who should be helpful with gaining political power. they should be waiting in the hanger bay along with the drop ship that is ready for you to take. good luck and may the emperor guard you!" he turned to his holomap. it was projecting a map of the system. the captains of the vessels along with the ten knights waited for his orders. "alright. we are heading for the only significantly populated planet." Alcide pointed to the farming planet he had boomed a moment ago "when we get there i dont expect much resistance. what i want the men to do is gather as much supplies as they can and load them on board the ships. if we find any who are willing to join our cause just send them to me. once the fighting is done i want charges set up on these areas" Alcide said zooming in on the planet to areas where their charges would do the most damage. "after that is done i want everyone ready to leave the planet soon as the alliance arrives. once that happens i want us to pull back to here" he said pointing to where he had the base already set up. "i want the ships to hold obit right above it. if it does come down to a fight you'll have some fire power to back you up. there is no need to stop them from sending in ground forces just keep them from blasting us from orbit. the shield is strong but not enough to hold out with the allied fleet attacking. we should be able to hold out till the next fleet comes in. Is that clear?" "Yes my Knight Master" they replied. as this conversation was going on the purifiers surrounded the spy. they slammed him to the ground and searched his belongings till they found the data pad. they dragged him away toward the Knight Master. they arrived soon as he was done giving orders "sir we have found the spy." Alcide turned and looked at the man. "oh i see. well torture what you can out of him..." Alcide thought for a moment but changed his mind when he thought about what the Emperor would do. " but keep him alive. once we get to the surface i want you to strip him down and shave him bare. then i want you to carve the name of the emperor into his flesh
till he is covered by it. once you are finish let him go walk the face of that planet in his total shame." the purifier squad saluted and gave Alcide the mans datapad. afterwards they dragged the poor fool away. "hmmmm" Alcide murmured. he tipped in a quick message of "imperial fleet is going to refuel in nebula." and sent it to the white tower. he doubted if they would believe the message but there was still a chance. He barked the orders for the fleet to begin the assault. After that Alcide went inside his own privet chamber and sent a message to the emperor saying "i am moving my fleet now my lord. i humbly ask for more ships to be prepared to reinforce me should a large alliance fleet arrive.

he could feel the ship begin to move and he knew the planet with all of its poor people was not far away. he began to pray for all of the innocents who died.

the imperial forces on the maw readied to take on a massive assault of Alliance ships. they knew it was a good possibility. not to mention they knew that this was the point where imperial reinforcements would arrive so they must hold the line.

at last they were ready. they could hold out in an assault against the alliance for however long they would need to till reinforcements.

the station received orders from Knight Master Alcide for another plan and got to work. they got a few more pods like the ones sent out before and sent these of but in a new direction. then they took a drop ship and put a device on it that would make t appear as though their were four cruisers around it. the image would be but a holographic projection but it would also appear on the enemy sensors. it was sure to confuse them. once it had been rigged they sent it off to the nebula.
