Shouko nervously worried her lower lip - what if they weren't coming? What if they really hated her, and all that work Mom and her had been doing was for naught? Getting the extra tables and chairs had been a pain in the butt, but getting that freelance wizard to make a dome around their garden (making it seem like it was summer inside, while it just seemed plain stupid from the outside) so the party could be outdoors; their house was big, but not that big. Checking the refreshments table another time, the pink-haired girl settled for nervously watching the entrance.
((This'll last for ICly one day, and OOCly as long as it's needed. :3 ))

((Woot! *post claimage* >D Mwa ha. Now. >.> I just hope the presents get delivered in time for the RP... *posts, glad to be back 'in'~*))
It had been a long night. A very long, long night - one that Jadaria remembered, vaguely, from when Kajika had been a toddler... Only, worse, so it would seem. The boy was painfully hyper - of course, she hadn't realized how very much he wanted to meet people, or perhaps she would have thrown a party for him. Oh well - at least he was able to attend this one, yes!
And attend it they would - carrying one large box with two more, smaller boxes taped to the top, the whole thing wrapped up in bright, pink-green-and-yellow paper. It was probably Kajika's wrapping paper of choice, and he had most definately 'helped' with the wrapping - one side of it was fairly neat, while the other was crinkled, over-taped, and generally messy. The whole package was decorated with several bows, some small, some big, some with little frilly ribbons...
Apparently, the boy had no concept of 'not bringing a gift.' Thankfully, Jadaria's slug-raising-business apparently gave her enough money to fund his little splurge. Why not lavish gifts upon the birthday girl?
It was her special day, after all!
"Miiiiim, Mim, Mim, Mim, Mim, Mimimimimimimiiiiiim~" Kajika chanted, bouncing almost too hyperactively until he was allowed to spring out of the car, at which point he dove away from the door, landed on his hands, and shot straight up into a handstand - then proceeded to bounce around more.
"We're heeeeeeeere~?!"
"Yes, dear. Close your door while I get the present out of the trunk.
"PreSENTS."
"Right, right. The door."
With an exasperated, over-dramatic sigh, the ruddy boy padded over to the car door and proceeded to push it shut with one foot, then began to 'walk' towards the entrance of the house, peering at that... weird... dome... thing curiously.
"Mim, whassat?"
"I don't know, Kaji. Why don't you walk on your feet? You can show off later. And did you lose one of your earrings again?"
"No... They're both still in, see?"
"Hm. Must've been the light. Feet. Now."
"Miiiiiiim...."
"Kaji, do you want me to take away your stuff for a week?"
"No~!"
And so went the exchange between the two as they approached, Kaji finally popping up to his feet, Jadaria looking speculatively to where they were supposed to go... exactly. Towards the back? There didn't seem to be any indication to go to the front door... And she knew SHE wouldn't want a birthday party for a bunch of kids inside HER house. So, with a sigh, she tugged her son back towards the domed area, rather curiously.

Looking excitedly towards the backyard's entrance as she heard voices, Shouko squealed happily - someone came!
"Mooooooom~! GUESTS!!" the girl was practically bouncing around by now, looking for her mother; after all, she needed help with all the formal-stuff. She'd never been very good at that, Shouko knew.
Resolutely ignoring her daughter's squeals (it was rather undignified), Anon stared at her miserable attempt at a cake. She'd been baking all morning, hoping to surprise the pink-haired girl (though she had the feeling that Shouko already knew and was just trying to act oblivious for her mother's sake); pretty much for nothing. It wasn't pretty, to say the least.
Meanwhile, Shouko had moved closer to the entrance - they might need a bit help to find it, she figured; they'd forgotten to put up any signs. "Helloooooo?"

Jadaria wasn't quite sure where to go - until Kajika began to tug at her arm, and she saw the pink-haired girl, which brought a smile to her face. She assumed that must have been the 'birthday girl,' and nudged her son to say hello.
Kajika, taken aback by this predicament, crinkled his nose - a GIRL? No one said it was going to be a GIRL! He knew what girls were, yes - he'd just never been introduced to one his age before. Thus, he went through a cycle of emotions quickly - outrage, disgust, frustration, and finally, curiosity. Such was the whim of a child!
"Hellooooo~" he called, waving frantically once he'd settled on the latter emotion. He bounced, then looked up at his mother expectantly, practically wriggling with excitement. At a nod, he let out a whoop, then bolted over towards the entrance, and this new person.
"Hiiiiiiii, I'm Kajiiiiiika, who're yoooooou?" he exclaimed, very much excitable.
Jadaria just smiled, shook her head, and followed.

The weremutt was trodding his way down towards the house, eyes drifting between the address he was holding and his final destination. The male, luckily, had taken time to clean up- the past few days he had been in a complete dissarray, hair shooting out in all directions and his clothes all messy. He still had the faintest bit of pink rimming his eyes, showing his utter lack of sleep and making Freize seem even more tired than usual. Some stubble was even beginning to show itself along his jawline. And thus, one could easily see the remains of a man after caring for newborn children for the past few weeks. He yawned lightly, freehand moving up to scritch the side of his nose in an oddly slow fashion. He was trying to keep his mind focused on the piece of paper and what was written on it so as to find this foreign household, but he found it harder a task than it seemed.
In another light, his joey actually seemed somewhat docile as well. Eva was, of course, being carried by Freize, and had his head burried into the older male's chest. He was apparantly napping- something he had been doing more and more frequently during the day as he got older... Which, unfortunately for Freize, meant that he was up more at night. He would perk up plenty when he had company, though. He hadn't seen any other Edens in a good while, so he'd be overjoyed to finally make new friends and maybe see some of the ones he already had.
"C'mon, we're almost there. Wake up, Eva."
The roo's ears swivvelled downwards and he silently yawned into his Da's shirt. He settled back slightly, rubbing at his eyes with a small fist, nose wrinkling. He was a light sleeper, atleast. He sat still for only a moment or so before moving to climb up and sit himself on his Da's shoulders.
Freize wandered aimlessly for a few moments before spotting other beings. Thank the gods. He ran a hand through his hair, moving to come up behind them. "Um... Hello...? Is this where the party is?"
Eva looked down at the other Edens, suddenly excited, a smile drawing across his face. The runt lifted a hand, waving enthusiastically at the girl and boy. The girl kinda reminded him of Tyyne, because they both made him think of flowers for some reason.

Watching the different expressions on the boy's face with some bewilderment, Shouko quickly got rid of her curiosity to wave at him.
"I'm Shouko!" she beamed happily, this Kajika seemed nice. Eyeing his guardian, she coutsied lightly as she had seen the people with pretty dresses do. "Hello, Ma'm. Thank you so much for coming." the formal tone tasted weird, Shouko decided - much too weird.
Becoming aware of even more people, the pink-haired girl smiled happily, her eyes glazing over; they weren't mad at her! Granted, these were people she didn't remember, but it was still gratifying that someone showed up.
"Yes, sir, it is." Sho nodded happily along with her own words, waving back at the new boy.

"Nice t'meet'cha, Shouko," Kaji chirped, quite happily, then turned to look at what else the girl was focused on. When he noted what it was, his face brightened - another boy! A little one, sure - younger than, him, but he didn't care too much. He was just thrilled to see anyone else... well... like him, really!
In a manner of speaking.
"Thank you, Shouko... Is there a place where we can put this?" Jadaria laughed, softly, bouncing the large bundle in her arms a couple of times. "The invitation said gifts weren't necessary, but... Well, I couldn't help myself."
She didn't mention that Kajika couldn't help HIMself, either. Speaking of which...
The hyperactive boy was now standing near Frieze, peering curiously up at Eva, his bright eyes wide as he did so. Ever ignorant of proper manners, he didn't think to greet Frieze, not one bit - instead, his focus was on the one that the weremutt carried.
It made sense, though, really. Such a short attention span.
"Hiiiiiiiiiii~"

Ilusen was finding it increasingly difficult to keep up with the spritely young boy. Puffing away as she veered round the corner of the street written on the invitation she finally gained distance and grabbed Dylan by his arm "Slow... down" she panted trying to catch her breath back, she may be young but she certainly didnt have the energy of this young toddler.
Dylan took one look at his mothers pink face and laughed, he was enjoying this game and had no sympathetic thoughts towards her. He clung onto the present he had bought for the birthday girl protectively, it was wrapped up messily, signalling that it was he who wrapped it himself trying to be "helpful" for his mommy. He had no intention of letter her open it, he wanted to. As they strolled up the path Ilusen looked at her watch seeing they were a couple of minutes early, thank goodness, she was sick of being late. Feeling rather guilty for leaving her friend behind with Seleece, who was being extremely stubborn about the party and wouldn't put her clothes on.
Ilusen wandered round the side of the house and smiled at all the guests who had allready arrived, not knowing who exactly to address "Um.. my friend and her little girl will be around in a few minutes, she was having a little trouble finding a party dress to wear you see." she delivered the excuse and directed Dylan towards the pink haired girl who was obviously the birthday girl. Reluctantly he sulked over to her and held the present out "thor yoo" he said, his lisp becoming even more apparent. Then he put his hand into his pocket and pulled out a home made card for shouko too.
(will put the gifts in when i receive them!)

Eva smiled merrily, ears twitching about, gaze drifting over the area... Aha... Whazzat? The little guy's eyes had hooked on that bubble they had set up, as Freize had yet to step inside. He'd never seen one of those before... Blue eyes blinked as the frog spoke up, and he turned to look at him with arched brows. He smiled after seeing who it was and waved once again, his tail thumping against one of Freize's shoulders in an idle manner as it swayed back and forth behind him. He lifted himself up to a stand on the shoulder he was previously seated on, keeping his balance with surprising ease for a runt, and then he hopped on down. He landed on his feet now- he'd gotten good at jumping down from Freize's shoulders, so he didn't land in a crouch anymore. He beamed at the two, and then turned curiously as new people came. Waved eagerly to the grumpier looking boy.
The 'roo's eyes caught on the present as that was handed over and something seemed to hit him. He turned and tugged on his Da's pantleg- where was the present!? The present!?
Freize ignored the antics of his joey for now, simply ruffling his hair, "I'm Freize, and this is Evarobby... We just call him Eva. He... Hasn't started talking yet." His tone was of someone who had given up worrying and learned to accept it.. He was getting that worry back, though, as Eva was getting so old and still he hasn't made a noise... Even after the drowning incident, and the tree... And that one time...
Eva made a clucking sound with his tongue and was rewarded with a small, messily wrapped gift. He'd wrapped it himself. He had a homemade card as well, tucked away and tied to the little bundle with ribbon. He trotted over to the older girl and extended the present, smiling cheerily.

With the presents delivered Dylan turned his attention to something else for the minute, at least until it was opening time. He noticed a little boy standing across the garden, he was waving at him for some reason so he tugged on his mom's trouser leg to get her attention she looked down at him and smiled "Whats up dylan?" dylan nodded towards the boy standing in the corner and Ilusen waved at the man standing next to the boy and pushed dylan in front of her "Why dont you go say hello?" reluctantly the boy sloped over "hello, me ith dylan, you?"

"Oh, sure ma'm." the girl pointed to a rather non-descript table that seemed packed with chocolate and drinks, though a small bit of the table was bare, to put the gifts on. "Thank you for the gift," hopefully this was the right time to say that - her mother had been rather unclear on that point.
Having a hard time following all the events at one time, Sho blinked as the new woman seemed to talk to the air, before the small boy with the lady delivered a messily wrapped gift. "Thank you!" Shouko smiled happily, eyes twinkling as she looked at the precious thing. Unsure of how to hold the gift (the paper seemed about ready to fall off, and the shape was indecipherable) she quickly went to put it down on the table.
"Uhm.." what did you say to the people you've just met? "Thanks a lot for all the gifts."

Freize returned the wave and looked towards the shark-boy with a smile as he approached to speak with Evarobby, hands tucking away into his pockets. Eva brightened at the company, his ears perking and wriggling about as the boy spoke to him... He hesitated a moment, looking as if he were about to say something for a moment or so before turning to tug at the bottom of Freize's shirt hopefully. The little 'roo didn't even know how to talk, or make any vocal noise for that matter, so he fell back on his backup plan. Get Freize to tell his name and stuff. Then maybe he could go play.
The weremutt looked between the two toddlers before giving a nod, "His name's Eva." He directed at the shark kid. "He can't talk... Yet."

"No talking? How can he not ta-- OW!" Kajika was rewarded for his rather rude question with a quick smack across the back of the head, and pouted pointedly at it. That wasn't fair! Not fair at all! What had he done wrong? Nothing, nothing at all! Just said something that seemed natural for him to say...
He grumped, then waved at Dylan - as he was new, then promptly got distracted as Jadaria moved over to set the gift down. He scooted after, eyes going wide at the refreshments on the table; the lithe boy hopped onto his mother's back and onto her shoulders, leaning over and grabbing at the stuff with devious intent...
Only to be swatted at, tugged loose, and dropped back on the ground.
"Kajika, stop clinging to me and go play... Shouko, where's your mother?" Jadaria chided her son, then asked the little girl the question kindly as her son scooted off near the other children again, sulking and slinking dramatically.

Dylan looked curiously at the boy, raising an eyebrow in response to Freize "why not mithter?" he demanded looking back to the young boy again, he looked the same age as him and he could talk... well apart from the annoying noise his missing teeth made when he spoke. He pointed towards the boy trying to get him to speak "sthpeak." he said "sthay my name ith eva sthilly. I dont get my mommy to talk thor me, stho why you?"
Ilusen scooted over when she heard her little boy begining to be a bit rude "Oh my... im sorry, Dylan can... mislpace his manners sometimes" she said looking down at the shark boy and glaring meaninfully, to which she got the reciprocation of a stuck out tounge and a disobediant look. Showing off most likely she thought. "I really do appolgize" she said to Freize blushing slightly at the misfortune of having such a naughty little boy
