The abyss.

CHAPTER 1.
October 8th was a day that everyone could remember down here in good old rapture. It was the day that the largest amount of people from atop came to the deepness of rapture. Parties were going on all around for the relatives of the citizens. People asking how they got the money to come down, and why they chose it. And everyone thought that Andrew was the “god of man” or the “chosen man” considering what the people thought of him. But I know him for what he really is, the devils worker.
His name is Andrew, Andrew Ryan. He’s the b*****d the created Rapture. The founder. He says that the reason for rapture was to be the place for all the people that shed their sweat and blood for almost ‘nothing’. But the only reason that rapture was created was for the personal gain of Ryan, money.
He had no intension of caring for the workers. Even when he started to build the place he sat his a** down up top on a comfy couch with his chin held up high while his workers built the society in over weighted, deep ocean suits with a wrench and seven dollars an hour in their pockets from scratch. People where desperate to even look at rapture. Even the lowest of the low could have seen Ryan for his true nature but everyone was too busy working to pay for an entrance fee to get into rapture. Ryan sheds nothing for everything.
I had no idea why so many people where coming to rapture on that day and maybe I just didn’t care, but seeing five to ten people in a bathysphere that was supposed to hold four gave me the hunch that this had to be Ryan’s doing.
I have never been the one to get out of my room a lot in rapture other than going to the grocer. So I had no idea as to what was happening down in rapture. That was until I started to see all of the posted pictures on the walls everywhere. Each of them saying just something a little different from the others. ‘Power at the tip of your fingers, coming soon in rapture.’‘want greatness? Rapture has it, you can own it. Coming soon.’‘seeing someone you hate having a great and happy afternoon? Take that away and make them angry with rage with just a toss of a ball, coming soon to rapture.’
After seeing all of those posters hanging up I went to one of my regular shops and, their on the cover of the news was another phrase that seemed idiotic and just plain random.
