The issue with the worm's supposed to represent some difference in principle, basically. It's not about the worm, but whatever moral disagreement/disagreement on principle they experienced. That's my two cents worth.

So Sentinel is more powerful when it comes to offense, but the Overseer counters with an equal amount of defense. Our teams completely counter each other.
Also, it seems that Sentinel is not the true leader of S.I.N. The voice is Jack, and he said "Lead my army". Sentinel isn't the enemy. She's just lost in darkness and being used like a pawn.

I just actually bothered to read it, and I'll say yes, it represents a difference in principle.
Sentinel used her powers in the spirit of aggression. She decided to influence things to be aggressive, and as a result, became more aggressive herself when her powers reflected back at her.
The Overseer urged caution, and tried to influence things to be more cautious and defensive, rather than the aggressive approach. As a result he became more defensive and cautionary when his powers were reflected back at him.
Symbolically, this means that your actions are what make you, and that what you teach reflects what you are.
And this event is probably going to center around a theme of conflict and peace, and how while they are opposed to one another, are important to keep each other in balance. Order and chaos, peace and aggression, that whole jazz. In the end "good" and "evil" cancel each other out, neither can really win.
At least I think that's the angle they're going at.

We've been calling S.I.N.'s leader Sentinel.
And yes, what is good without evil to call it good? If that made any sense...
In the beginning though, both were good. Then evil was discovered.....hm, maybe this is a little influenced by religion...
Regardless, my view on it is that our teams shouldn't be fighting. We should be working together to free Sentinel from her dark prison. I think that's where it's going to go.

Yeah, I already changed it. I haven't been following the event much. I don't think it's a question of evil vs good though, not entirely. Neither were evil, they had different approaches. The Overseer had a more reserved approach, more cautionary, etc. Sentinel had an aggressive approach. I would not call what Sentinel is evil. Honestly, I think this is going to end in a clash between the two where they end up balancing each other out. I think BOTH characters are going to be influenced highly from the other, therefor balancing each other out and delivering the classic "balance" message.

I'm not sure if this is relevant, but... I couldn't help but notice that the box the SIN girl was trapped in looks kinda like the Azraels Trickbox item.
