As you know, I am Christian, I'm not telling you my whole story to that.

We are Christians, therefore we must share the light that the LORD has given to us- Soulwinning.

My Situation
Place:In a Catholic School(that's why I was a Catholic, no prob with that, Catholics can be saved too)

Target: 33 people(we are 35 in class)

Work:Trying to tell others to accept the gift that Jesus gave to us/Soulwinning

Conflict#1: 27-33 people do not take me seriously when it comes to faith

Conflict#2: 25-30 people are too distracted with the carnal pleasures of the flesh(We are in the sixth grade, and my class is too perverted, making sick jokes, spreading of harmful websites, and other stuff I don't want to mention, no real thing though.)

Conflict#3: 20-33 people put schooling first than God(I don't really give much effort to school biggrin )

It is difficult to really make others accept Jesus and make them in to real Christians, fortunately, I have one(1) classmate that I have quite shaped into a real Christian. Now the problem is, how do I shape the other lustful, busy and close-minded people?

You don't. Jesus does.

I guess what you should do is keep on talking, keep on being salt and light. Don't let yourself slip to their standards, because when you do that you have almost no authority to talk to them about Christ. I'm talking from personal experience here. Almost every time I open my mouth to talk about God, someone'll say: "Yeah, but you do so you can't talk."

The other thing you can do is pray. You can't save people, only God can. Just keep on remembering that. All you do is sow the seeds, it's God that waters them.

1 Corinthians 2:14 (New American Standard Bible)
But a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised.

Unless the Holy Spirit is working through them, then they won't be saved. Keep praying for them and continue to be salt and light, as Voldy suggested. Sometimes people need to adjust, and being a good example of a Christian is one of the best services you can do to God and it usually makes evangelism much easier because you never have to tone down your message due to yourself not even meeting up to your own standards. It's best to work with yourself if you think you need that until you believe you're absolutely sure that you're a good example of an ambassador for Christ. That's just my experience, though. I'm still working on myself, honestly.

I was going to say the same thing. I had my eyes opened on a particular subject I guess a year ago. I was counting people I had helped come to Christ as people "I had saved." It is Christ that does the saving. The power is with Him. That power can do anything. Just ask for him to sprinkle a little bit of it on your class and ask for a revival.

Thanks for reminding me that's it is Jesus's work to change their hearts. But what I meant was, tips on sowing the seeds to these people. As for the good example part sweatdrop I have to work on that, I can be too harsh to people. Some people think I'm boastful for some reason, maybe because I say that their stupid, even though I am not supposed to say it(not saying I am better than them though)

Forgot to tell you that there are 3 people that are pure Christians/Protestants in my class, though they are not much into our Father's business.

Oh yeah, how do I deal with pimples, without having to use some chemical to remove it? xd

LOL.

Shower twice daily. If you have long-ish hair (comes over your face or forehead some), make sure that you clean it well and get all the oils out. Shower after you sweat a lot, too. Basically, if you stay clean, it won't be reeeeally bad. you will still have them, because that is a curse unmentioned in the Bible ninja . I have a friend that uses Proactive, and it works pretty well for him. You may decide to get chemicals.

DO NOT WORRY. It will eventually go away. Don't be discouraged if it takes a long time to go away wink I'm 19, graduated from high school, and still have acne. Not really bad, but I still have it. crying

My advice is to just use chemicals. Any reason you're avoiding them?

Come to think of it, any reason we got this off-topic in about 6 posts? xD

What a complete about-face! xd As for evangelistic tactics, when it comes to Catholicism, one of the best things you can do is quote directly from Scripture and from Roman Catholic doctrine to explain to kids the differences. But from my experience with kids in Catholic Churches and Catholic Schools, most people don't care about spirituality because they feel so pressured by the traditions of the RCC (rosaries, confession, Catholicism's version of communion, etc). I hope I helped you brainstorm a bit, but I don't normally encounter Roman Catholics in debates/discussions so I haven't gone to great lengths to memorize Catechisms and so on. I can only do so much when I'm studying stuff from school, Creation science stuff and trying to have some time with my friends and God all during the week, then on the weekend, I crash and sleep an entire day.

Anyway, I'm going to shut up. God bless and I'll pray for you and your school.

For the chemicals, I am too lazy to put them on and I am worried about getting chemicals on my eyes xd

My current tactics is pretty much similar to what you said Spike. I just compare what the Bible/Scriptures say and what the RCC says, only I ask them hard hitting questions that would really make them think about their faith.

Thx to all those who prayed for me/my school, and those who gave me advice on my face biggrin

God bless us all,
