These days, senshi s**t was getting old, fast. For some reason, there were less and less youma about, but more normal criminals. It was like he'd gone from being a superhero, to some...not super super hero. like going from Superman to batman. And even then, people LIKED batman, (kinda). The last person he'd helped from a mugger had run away, in fear no less.
It was a bit disheartening.
So, sitting up top an old factory, Castor just watched as the clouds moved. Not even here, in the industrial area, was trouble. At least not the magical kind. And no offense, but he was getting sick of saving hookers from their pimps. It was kind of a useless effort.
So, right now, Castor was just loafing on a roof. Skirting his senshi duties. Which he probably shouldn't do.

Ugh, those little pests!

Star seeds in hand, the fake senshi continued her dash across the gravel, the small rocks making terribly loud crunching sounds with every step her fashionable heels took. Despite the difficulty it was to run while on a rocky surface, she continued her swift pace until she was safely pressed against the side of an old abandoned warehouse building. Only then did she stop to catch her breath, rubbing one gloved hand against her forehead to wipe away the sweat.

That had been a close call, with the police showing up at the last minute. As much as Nealite would hate to admit it, she'd have been caught if Hematite hadn't started a distraction to allow her escape. She really must be losing her touch, if it were this easy to be spotted by the authorities. God damn it.

Her clenched fist began to relax and open up, exposing the five star seeds that lay within. Not nearly as many as they'd hoped to achieve, but five was better than zero, right?

Glancing up, she watched the gravel lot for any sign of the dark skinned boy. How far had Hematite been behind, when she fled?

The teen was a little ways behind, now in his distinctive Negaverse uniform. That had been close. In civilian appearance he'd made a sufficient distraction of pointing the crowd and authorities in the wrong direction to find Nealite, sending them after a woman in a black and orange dress who happened to be walking around the wrong neighborhood that day. He hadn't waited around long enough to see whether they'd tackle her or shoot first and ask questions later - he simply melted out of the crowd. He couldn't go scrambling after Nealite, so he walked, a casual pace, and first chance he got to change where no one could see, he had. THEN he could run.

Dreadlocked ponytail breezing behind him in a clump, Hematite finally rounded the corner of the building. He didn't look so good himself, even without fighting. He rarely slept as it was. His paranoia from the building pressure of responsibility only made it work. Dark eyes surrounded by dark circles seemed to see through Nealite rather than focus on her when he arrived, preoccupied with his own thoughts. He wasn't on this mission as an owed favor to Nealite - he was here on the General-King's orders.

Hematite gave Nealite an indecipherable grunt by way of greeting, condensing 'well THAT went well' down to one nonsense syllable of noise, then returned his gaze to the gravel.

The sound of gravel, even a small bit of it, seemed to echo in the abandoned space that was the abandoned lot. That and to hear a sound that wasn't made from tires, and god knew what else that frequented the area, did pique Castor's interest. So, leaning over the side of the building, one could imagine his face when he saw an unfamiliar negaverse agent, completely oblivious to his presence. Next to a senshi no less. From the looks of it, the agent had just arrived, following the senshi.
Not one to just leave a fellow senshi behind, (what looked like a cute senshi, but then, they were all cute), Castor smiled to himself. Two against one. He could handle it. Time to make his battle cry.

"Large and small, JUSTICE rains down from the sky!" Okay, cue dramatically cool jump to where they were standing. "I am Sailor Castor, and I will vanquish you!"
Internally, Castor wanted to cheer. He'd FINALLY gotten to look super cool.

She'd opened her mouth to begin addressing her partner as she tucked away the seeds in a pocket, when the all-too familiar voice boomed from up above.

You had to be kidding.

Nealite found herself stumbling backwards in surprise as the young senshi practically pounced upon the scene. It didn't take but a moment for her to regain her balance, and the lieutenant waved her hand in the air, preparing to conjure up her mirror.

It was when her hand rose that she noticed her gloved fingers, and her thoughts quickly returned to the fact she was no longer Nealite, but instead Sailor Nea. Had Castor figured this out, though?

Willing to take the risk, she ignored her mirror for the moment, and instead presented her own (quite magnificent) senshi challenge....aimed directly at Hematite.

"In the name of Astraea," she began, her hands waving until they landed in a pointing gesture towards the other lieutenant, "I, Sailor Nea, will punish you!"

Briefly startled by the sudden appearance of a senshi, Hematite looked up and took a few steps backward. He was unarmed (no thanks to the General-King, who had decided that hunting down one of the most dangerous known senshi prowling the streets was best left to hand-to-hand combat and not, say, a replacement weapon) and absolutely not in the mood. Distractions, he'd promised distractions, not miracles!

It came as a disappointment to see the senshi was a boy. At least Hematite had something (two somethings) to look at when he was fighting a regular, female senshi. From what he hoped was a safe distance, he gave Sailor Castor a glower to try and convey just how unimpressed Hematite was with everything about him. The lieutenant felt cheated that he didn't get a look down any bodices today. It was definitely showing. "Is it raining justice? It looked more like it was raining a candyass b***h in short shorts who's late to tennis practice. But, you're definitely small. You got that part right."

He'd been prepared to drag Nealite away and run or jump off till they lost the boy, rather than waste time fighting. The plan was cowardly but effective, and his mind was devoting more and more brain cells to the specifics of executing it, and fast. Ultimately, a waste. He may not have seemed wowed by Castor's entry, but Sailor Nea's challenged had suddenly speechless. Hematite's eyes followed the pointed finger to its owner, thoroughly lost. "Wait, wait, what? Oh, ********, no..."

Did Castor, for once in his senshi career, do something right? Did he actually have a chance and not screwing up this time. Oh, praise be, it looked like he did. And the thought of it made him almost giddy. Thankfully, it was almost. Castor was sure he didn't want to loose this new badass mode. It seemed to elude him most of the time. And by most of the time, he meant all of the time. So, stuffing away his inner glee at his supposed 'baddassness' Castor smirked as the negadude did some smack talk. Okay, now, if he could just make sure his reply wasn't as-
"Hey! We don't get to pick out our uniforms. You think we like dressing like this when it's freezing outside? Really man." Castor crossed his arms and looked a bit, well, annoyed. He'd gotten over the fact his uniform was pretty pansy but did EVERYBODY have to keep pointing it out? Geez. "At least I don't have a mop or dead animal hanging off my head. And as for it raining justice, how about a demonstration?"
Did he do okay? Did he sound badass? Oh god, he hoped he did. But, oh yeah, Now, he had to get into battle mode. Turning to Sailor Nea, Castor winked at her from the corner of his eye. She seemed familiar, but, eh, they had more important matters. Facing back the negadude, Castor raised his hand to the sky.
"Stinging Storm!"

She couldn't help but grin as the shorter boy started in on his smartass remarks towards Hematite. Good, he didn't recognize her.

As he turned back around to wink at her, she lifted up one hand and waved it in his direction, giving her best attempt at what she'd assume would look like a bashful smile.

Nealite watched on, then, as Castor then directed his first attack towards Hematite. Her mind was conflicted on what her next course of action should be. It was clear he assumed she was a fellow senshi, so should she stand back and do nothing as Hematite took on Castor? Or should she give away her identity as a Negaverse Lieutenant and take on Castor alongside her partner?

There was no stopping the attack from launching, the words already screamed out by the senshi. Without saying another word, Sailor Nea made her way closer to Castor, watching and waiting for the opportunity to strike. Her decision was made, and his star seed would be hers.

Third time's the charm, after all.

Sailor Castor received a very unimpressed eyebrow raising in response, though the lieutenant began to take a defensive stance. Hematite did not like the situation. Everything had been completely and totally fine before now. Nealite had her star seeds and secret identity, while he had avoided a complete ******** of lackey work. Good. Great. Awesome. Just one tiny little problem - this idiotic senshi stood between them and returning to civilian guises. If they couldn't take him out or lose him... and of all people, Nealite was the only one with a weapon here!

"Son of a-" Hematite didn't get to finish his colorful sentence. Out of nowhere, and only in a very particular somewhere, it had begun to hail. Even wearing covering clothing, the ice was still pelting his face and hands pretty hard, forcing him to cross arms over his head to protect himself. Not to mention it was cold, wet, and annoying. Admittedly he'd been expecting something a little more worrying, something along the lines of Tisiphone's deadly attack, but this was characteristically senshi. ******** magic.

This was a waste of time. He had to get Nealite (and himself, definitely himself) out of here, and fast, before Sailor Short-Shorts tried any other tricks. And for all he knew the little snot-nose would just keep chasing after them no matter where they ran. Well, s**t. Time to add a few more bruises to his collection if it meant coming out of this whole thing alive.

With an unintelligible yell of anger and arms still trying to shield himself from the worst of the hail, Hematite barreled at Sailor Castor like a football player.

Castor had gotten used to magic. He had gotten used to seeing youma. To funky uniforms. And to a general amount of insanity that would make the normal populace of Destiny City have to enter a loony bin. So, when someone dressed in a crazy uniform came running at him after his attack, Castor wasn't all that shocked so much as kinda just 'oh this is a new tactic.' After all, most people in the negaverse had pretty...interesting weapons so far. But hey, if this was going to to be fist fight...
Castor could do fists fights.
Bracing for impact, he didn't resist to hard when the two of them fell to the ground. The second Castor felt dirt under his back, his mind was back at Hillworth, outside after school. Good times. Good. Times.

But, now, it was about basically protecting his chest, (after that negababe, he had been sure to protect his chest more when he got into fights. It was probably due to fear), and beating on the other guy when possible.

In other words, the two were basically looking like your average teen boys in fight, just dressed funny. Cursing may or may not have been spewing from Castor's mouth. It was hard to tell between curses and grunts.

Her inching came to a halt as Hematite charged for the younger boy. It didn't take long for both males to come toppling onto the ground, and then began rolling around onto one another in quite the schoolboy fashion.

Sighing, she lifted one hand up and gently rested her forehead against her fingertips. She'd almost had the opportunity, and then they had to act like thirteen year olds and get into a scuffle. Well she wasn't about to jump headfirst into a fist-slinging, ear-pulling brawl, so instead remained to the side, watching them in frustrated impatience as they fought one another.

If Hematite could just get the star seed, then this mission would be even more successful than originally planned for. Failure, however, would not work out.

A small shudder ran through her at the memory. No, they couldn't fail this one; Nealite was still reeling from the last botch up herself and Hematite had done, and she wasn't anywhere near ready to face Charonite with such news again.

Hematite wouldn't have survived to this point in time if he couldn't at least hold his own in a schoolyard brawl, even if he came off the eventual loser. It was about endurance, in a sense. Hematite didn't like to endure much of anything violent if he could avoid it, but it was rare he had such an opportunity. Even before the rise of senshi in Destiny City, he was getting his a** handed to him in training. His skin tone was generally equally divided between brown and blotchy bluish-purple, the colors migrating to match ever-changing minor injuries. He had the choice to avoid senshi battles up until recently, and boy did he abuse the hell out of that opportunity. He should have taken it this time, he realized too late. He didn't have the energy, the stamina, or the physical well-being to keep up this close combat s**t much longer.

He threw another punch, kept his bad hand out of the way gripping an arm or a shoulder as he tried to land hits. The senshi was keeping his star seed out of reach - the little ******** apparently wasn't fighting his first Negaverse soldier. He couldn't even shout at Nealite to run, couldn't do anything that might give away her identity even if it meant getting her out alive. Charonite would ******** hold him to it - Hematite had been stuck on this mission and the consequences would be dire. He didn't know yet what would happen if Nealite got away and he couldn't manage to. Did this kid have it in him to kill? There wasn't enough time to tell. His attack certainly wouldn't do more than give Hematite a cold and some scratches. But even bare hands could take a life. The only guarantee was that failing wasn't tolerated. He tore his eyes away from the senshi long enough to try and shoot his partner a look. What was Nealite waiting for??

It wasn't a contest. It was like...well it was just alot of flailing. At least for a while. The negaverse agent seemed to be not lacking in strength, (the punch that just landed on his arm would later testify), but in stamina. Castor could only assume he'd been chasing after his fellow senshi, and he was tired and wore out. So Castor was NOT about to look the proverbial gift horse in the mouth. He was going to punch this horse until he was pretty sure it was dead. Then he might beat on it for good measure.
So overall, it was the two of them were looking for any opening possible. And when the negaverseian looked up, Castor took his opening. Punching up and sending his knee up as well, Castor was going to land a double whammy if he could. And boy did it connect. Castor could literally feel something snap under his knuckle, and he was pretty sure that the wetness that was now on his fist was blood.
Pushing the agent off of him, Castor got back up and kicked the guy for good measure. Ha! take that negaverse!

Looking to his fellow senshi he grinned. He was probably dirty now, and, he might have some blood on him. But hey! He won, didn't he? "Sailor...Nea you said? Hehe, I'm Castor, hope this guy didn't give you any trou-" He paused. She seemed a bit... naw, no way. "Um well, like your uniform. It's pretty cool." Ugh, way to be lame. "So uh....you okay?" Turning his back to her, Castor eyeballed the downed negaverse agent. "Most of the time these dudes have weapons, so...I've gotta say, this is definitely a first."
PostPosted: Wed Nov 04, 2009 9:02 pm

s**t s**t s**t s**t.

She moved forward when she saw the attack coming, but wasn't nearly quick enough. Castor's fist slammed into Hematite's face and Nealite winced as she heard the audible crack of what she could only assume to be his nose.

Her body froze where she leaned, her eyes wide. <********>, this had gone too far, <********> why had she left him to deal with this by himself? Castor didn't seem intent on finishing the job as the smaller boy slowly began to pick himself up off of the ground, and Nea's eyes remained on the fallen Hematite. <******** took her a moment before she realized Castor was addressing her, and she shook her head, attempting to collect herself. She needed to stay calm, she needed to stay cool. He obviously still thought she was on his side, so there was still a shot for her to get that star seed. Hematite, god, he was in pain but... what else was she going to do? Helping him would just give away her identity, right?

s**t.

"I'm.. not sure," she confessed truthfully, adding a bit of a wobble to her stance for effect, "I... I'm not feeling too well."

She couldn't pounce him, not in her state. A bit closer, though, and she'd finally be able to take that stupid star seed at long last.

"Not feeling to well?" Facing back to her, he ignore the downed enemy and went to Salior Nea's side. He didn't even pause as he began to circle her up and down. After the first circle, he got a tad distracted from looking for injuries, (god he did love senshi uniforms on the girls), and was just checking her out. It stopped as soon as he saw another leg wobble. "Oh shi-" He was in front of her now, looking at her face. In the back of his mind, he felt something was wrong. But right now, all he saw was a senshi in pain.
One that seemed familiar.
"Do I know you?" He blurted it out before thinking it to be a stupid question. This was no time for stupid stuff, she could be hurt!
