Amaterasu sat on her favorite rock, by a crashing down waterfall. She sighed happily to herself, and closed her eyes. Listening to the music of the waterfall.

Switch shivered. It was strange for him to have journeyed out of the safety of his mountains. Odd, even, how the green grass licked at the air when a breeze floated through, or how the riverbeds did not bear an interminable frost on its extremities.
But somehow, it felt like he had to be here. Almost like he had been compelled to be in this area by something else - a greater power, maybe. He scoffed at the very idea, and laid down in the thin underbrush of the borderland wood. There was a waterfall near - swift and strong - and it dominated his senses. He smelled water, he heard it crashing, he could taste it in the air.
He listened. But water permeating his very being distracted him, and his ears flattened against his head in discouragement. Leave the safety of the underbrush, or stay? He had never been one for taking risks.

She got up and off of her rock, managing to get down off the rather large clump of the rocks that made up her favorite basking point. She lightly mewled as she stretched her muscles. It felt so good, when she stretched. She took to wandering after stretching, when suddenly she smelled an odd Nova in her territory. She puffed up a bit and went searching for the intruder, which smelled male.

Switch stiffened as the wind changed direction. It was as if the waterfall had shifted like a curtain - with purpose. He smelled another Nova.
His ears stood straight up and tall, swiveling like satellites to catch a sound. He heard paws padding in grass, unrestrained. Perhaps a cocky male Nova. "Hello?" he whispered, hoping for a kindly answer.

His ears stood straight up and tall, swiveling like satellites to catch a sound. He heard paws padding in grass, unrestrained. Perhaps a cocky male Nova. "Hello?" he whispered, hoping for a kindly answer. She rounded the corner and noticed the white Nova standing there with his ears swiveling like that. She couldn't help but crack up laughing. She had never seen another Nova's ears move like that. "Hullo..." She said and cracked up a little again. "Who are you...?" She asked with a slight grin.
